thank you :fingers-crossed:
Boot into recovery (TWRP).
Wipe (advanced) ALL partitions.
Reboot to bootloader (fastboot).
Flash stock recovery.
Reboot to recovery.
ADB sideload stock ROM (4.0.1).
Re-lock the bootloader.
That message from screenshot will also go away.

Check the thread that I posted. I hope it helps.

That's what they call stock recovery. If your in fact rooted than download Flashify app and open it (it will tell you witch recovery your on for sure)
Where it says "backup current recovery" it will state the recovery your on

Thanks you, so stock recovery does not allow you to flash anything, correct?
Nothing custom anyways

Something went wrong when rebooting after a nightly update. It has a 5.0 Lollipop ROM on it and it won't boot into recovery, so now I just want to go and revert the whole phone to stock. ADB seems to work so I could just wipe the phone and push stock onto it right?
Is there any good guide somewhere where I can revert to stock using ADB with this?
You're on the old bootloader so the newest TWRP won't load. Try TWRP 2.7.x.x and see how you get on
How do I use this

Oky. I'm assuming you're stock and unrooted? If so, power device off. Boot into bootloader by holding down power and volume down buttons. Once into bootloader, select recovery. Once booted into recovery, factory reset, then try to boot back into system. If problem persists, you'll have to use fastboot commands to unlock bootloader and flash factory images through fastboot.
:crying::crying::crying:I have this problem with my phone .. s4mini - i9192 will have a solution?

For some reason, android is unable to boot. This screen here is the stock recovery. If it's on warranty, go get it fixed. If it's not on warranty, then you can approach this in many different ways. First of all, check if the download mode is working (hold vol down + home + power while turning on). If it is, then you can flash a custom recovery like CWM and TWRP and then get a new ROM installed. Or you can try flashing back the latest stock ROM for your particular model.
Is it possible to flash twrp on anti roll back enabled miui?

Yes, it is possible and magisk for root.
how?
the recovery then remains or should be re-flashed every time?

If you want to staty on MIUI for some reason and keep twrp you have to also flash lazy flasher from here: https://androidfilehost.com/?fid=890129502657590339
Thanks, sorry for my ignorance, but what is it lazy flasher?
and if I want to flash a custom rom? is the recovery still installed?
