Will there ever be a VOLTE custom ROM?

The development of this device have been going automatically strong lately. But will there be any VOLTE rom? I am not ordering or something but it will be nice to see a custom ROM with volte. If not can someone tell me what can be the fix we can use like flashing radio modems from stock ROM.

Hi celoxocis, i just want to say thank you for being active and informing us in the matter of the P2. I am mostly a passive member, but i follow this post. I have nothing to contribute here, so i stay silent, but I'm happy, you keep us up to date.

There is no volte custom rom for lenovo p2. As there are maximum quality devloper are not Indian. Hope someone make any custom volte patch file and lenovo hopefully release all source code.

Sir mike is developing linage os for official Rom. I hope after getting official Rom we hope we will get volte in build in it. For more information please read the future of lenovo p2 thread please.

Oneplus oxygen os on lenovo p2

Hi, I've just purchased a lenovo p2 and am moving from a one plus running the native os. I was wondering if there was a way to install this is on my new phone?

That ROM is also for one plus devices. Not yet for p2.

I'm pretty sure everyone gave up on cedric, not sure why, we had a nice treble wip but haven't seen updates in more than a month.

when I wrote that was because a developer managed to start a rom 9.0 with few bugs (same errors as the roms 8.1) other developers are working to start a rom based with the new resources of the stock 8.1 (on YouTube you can see a part of their work mixed with the vendor of kalil in a video of lineage16 for cedric but it is not the final work nor will it be) if you want to know more you have to enter the cedric groups in telegram either brazil, english or spanish that are where you can find to the developers and the work that is being done for this device a little abandoned translated with google translator

Lenovo P2a42 Android Q Update

Hello everybody,
Title says it all, I heard the requirements for flashing an Android Q GSI was increased, does the Lenovo P2a42 still manage to get away with it? It runs Oreo and Pie just fine, with the Treble enabled, but that's about it.

The build.prop says my current ROM is running Treble, however the other 2 tests mentioned in the source show false for me, and I'm not sure if I did it wrong, or my current ROM simply didn't support it, or is this phone finally meeting its end? Can it handle Android Q's requirements or is this the end?

You are thinking way too much. Just enjoy the moment and don't stress much dude. When Q is released, we will know it. As long as the devs are interested, everything is possible.

Is there any full supported a/b methodology?

Telegram, one developer installed Android Q in p2 and posted some screenshots..... So we might be getting Q Roms.

LineageOS dev also announced he will be working on it soon, see the other thread on here

What is the most stable ROM for Lenovo P2? Android 9 and 10.

At the moment, Bootleggers 4.3 is the most stable Android 9 ROM for P2. No Android 10 is at its level due to stability issues.
