Nah i just threw the rom to the trash where it belongs. Whatever if you are interested into a port tell me a device to begin with. Also a good Base

I suggest u to port android 6.0 MM from S5mini because s3neo and S5mini both are running on same chipset

I have a bit of porting knowledge. Ive done stupid things before :silly: like porting Galaxy Y stock rom to my I5500 Broadcom to Qualcomm ending up on framework.jar crashing. I think i can port a rom that it can boot at least on "system_process". If i need any help ill contact you

I want to get free time to make a mm port. I also cross ported Galaxy J5 lollipop rom but it says that system is busy [emoji15] and boot image installs just fine

So guys I did a port of Galaxy J3 2016 UI on S3 Neo sucessfully somehow for now. Galaxy J3 Camera works fully except beauty face, keyboard need somehow work, My Themes and My Files crash but I'll try to fix the most of these. Switched to J3 2016 now porting the WHOLE deal. I got it booted Up on the UI (Still stuff FC due to some smali's). Also our MotionROM maintainer LGajlo gave me permissions to use MotionROM base days ago so that means im gonna share soon

Only one smali stop us from booting into Setupwizard and also using some apps. I asked help in the porting thread i used about that issue. hope i get fast response. Everything else like System UI, RIL, Touchscreen and Sound work fine.

Hello xda'ers, after a long testing time I think it's time to post my personal SystemUI.apk
This is based on LPX SystemUI.apk, and includes:
- Original SIII 11 Toggles
- "Clear All" button from recents
- Brightness bar
- SIII expanded layout
Original SIII toggles now support longpress feature (ported from a jelly bean samsung rom), and fixed a lot of bugs from first porting.

Tested fully working on LPX stock rom deodexed, even if I bet that would work on most 4.0.4 roms.
Works well on LPX odexed too, but don t flash the zip, extract it and push the apk in /system/app deleting SystemUI.odex (reboot in recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, reboot)
Obviously only for rooted devices.

I fused PLMN bar (setting button, date and carrier) to brightness bar toggle slider.

1.brightness icon now is the toggle to set auto brightness!
2.settings shortcut button is easier to click
3.slider is 1.5dip thinner and there s no thumb handler, and is longer (to better scale your brightness value).
This is a pure concept, is welcome any advice related to layout rearrangement.
If you want to try click on download at the bottom of this post, but do a nandroid backup because i won t provide to you your current systemUI.
Mind knowing the how to? I will post xml sources once feedback confirm my idea is good enough, if is not good better don t spread bad layouts.

Remember that at least for fuji-devices(S Ion Acro s SL) you need a Y usb otg cable with 5V dc input, because fuji board can't power a ps3 controller(I think the Max mA are about 150-200)

He's right about powering it but don't think it works still
1) have tried testing just with OTG cable on T (obviously power error)
2) have tried testing using a Sony Live Dock (self powered but actually does not need power cord connected as it ups the power even if unconnected so must be able to mod device to allow such power outputs as this enables it). This enables you to use it as a HID device (working controller over OTG but we are wanting wireless) but that feature was already installed. The PS3 controller app still does not recognise its connected (but it is and works) so won't let you click next on the pairing tool tut/settings to complete the set up.
3) Have paired the controller wirelessly using the devices Bluetooth address (how this app would work) using sixaxis app. But if try to connect without sixaxis app turned on to the normal Bluetooth settings it says cannot pair.
A pitty does not fully work just yet but seams 60% there so good luck finding out what's missing

As I understand it, the DS3 requires a non-standard bluetooth stack to communicate properly. Both the Sixaxis App on the Android and the 'MotionInJoy' app in Windows end up making it so you can't use any normal bluetooth devices while you're using the DS3.
This sounds like what might be happening to poo-tang. Perhaps the app doesn't actually do anything to the BT stack itself, relying on special hardware in the SL?

If you port it it is a good idea, but @thehacka1 already tried to port cm10.1 over cm10 and failed. The best way is still to build from source.
If you're building from source, then you can look into OWL team sources on github, they've worked on it. @Kevinjoa also did.

You can't easily port this. It is lot more easy to do from source. I may could have finishing making a sucssfull build, but it was about too much time consuming. It will be better if you close this thread by asking a mod.

You better hope that there are only problems with native methods. Other log errors are hard to fix. My wfs broke and it is extremely hard to logcat 4.2+ roms.

the logcat is for the boot only

Why don't you test and do some debugging yourself?

That's not what he meant, some android 4.2 roms have problems connecting with adb.............. AOKP is an example

I stripped out htcdialer, phone, then got sense FC, striped out everything but systemui, and am able to get a small taste on Sprint 4.4. You do great work, hope you have time to bring this to Sprint, we are due for 4.4 update end of month, but our Ecliptic 4.4 is strong now.

There is no support yet for Sprint. This theme is based on Insertcoin 4.4. I will work on other International ROM's that are running 4.4 Android version-KitKat. A Sprint version is in the making but will need some time to do. Oh, I'm the OP secretary as the main man is currently unavailable...

I don't like to destroy others dreams but we can't call this "developing" it is just "theming" and unfortunately you are not a developer you are about to be themer just work hard and make more useful themes to be themer.. You can only be a developer when you make an app or develop a rom
