That was a bit silly wasn't it? [emoji55]
Hold POWER + HOME + VOL DOWN until download mode appears then flash the stock firmware with odin.

Hello,
I have a Galaxy Nexus GSM. I rooted it and unlocked the bootloader using Galaxy Nexus toolkit a while ago, and flashed the 4.1.1 stock ROM (Build number JRO03C). Yesterday i received a notification for a system update to 4.1.2. I hit download, phone rebooted into recovery, i chose to flash the rom and everything seemed fine, however i'm still on the older version 4.1.1. Now, when i try to boot my phone into recovery (VOL_DOWN & Power Button) it shows me the boot screen and says "Downloading, please do not turn off" and i can't do anything. If I hit the power button again the phone reboots normally. Any ideas what I can do?
Sorry if I am at the wrong section.

Volume down and power is the key combo for Odin download mode. You want volume up, volume down, and power. This will take you into the bootloader. From there, you can use volume up/down to scroll to recovery and press power to load into recovery.
That used to happen to me.....I later realised that it's Coz of the update....well simply return to the previous version of the app and re-flash without the upgrade. Hope it helps u out too.

Thanks a lot! So how can I restore the Odin mode from applying the update? Reflash the ROM?

i cant go to volume up+Home+Power

the only thing i can do is Volume Down+power+home and that doesnt help
so is there any of booting back to normal please help me with tips
Yeah there is always a way to go back to normal.
Just go to Recovery mode (Vol Up+Power+Home) and wipe data/factory reset and you'll be OK. It will clear your phone data however.
Vol up + Home + Power it doesnt work

If you can't enter recovery, then go to download mode, connect phone to pc, and flash via Odin.

Flash back to stock rom with Odin
http://www.teamandroid.com/2012/11/...2-n7105-official-jelly-bean-stock-firmware/2/
(The firmware link provided above is for N7105 only)
You can find a list of stock ROM firmwares here:
http://samsung-updates.com/
(You have to select the correct device <N7100 or N7105>, the correct region code and the latest firmware)
Then root again using Chainfire CF Auto-Root:

(This is the cleanest root method and best for beginners)

Hi there,
everytime I flash CWM 6.0.4.8 and Philz Touch 6.3.0.1 with Odin I'm unable to boot to recovery. I have to flash the stock rom and the the recovery image again to work around this. I wonder if there is any solution to simplify this process as I have a few devices here and it's kinda annoying
(Edit: I see a yellow warning sign after flashing the recovery the first time)
Any ideas?
You acces the recovery by pressing power + volume up.
Maybe this is your mistake ?!

I press volume down, menu + power to get into download mode. After flashing the new recovery I press volume up + menu + power to get into recovery but this fails (doent boot into recovery. getting a warning sign instead).
Strange thing...

Are you sure you are holding the buttons long enough? This may be the problem
if you let go right when the screen turns black and about to reboot this won't work.
try to hold it almost until the recovery sign pops up. Also instead of booting to recovery
right away try powering off and letting it rest, then boot up and into recovery.
PS : Make sure you're flashing a stable version and compatible version of recovery.

Please at first post all Steps what you have done and witch files you are using, links of them.
You Boot manuely after flashing The Recovery into The Recoverymode?
EDIT: Deleted... Thinking of the wrong device
I'm having trouble flashing stock Samsung 6.0.1 firmware on my T700. I tried flashing USA (XAR) and Netherland (PHN) firmware using Odin 3.10 and 3.12. Everytime I get stuck on the SAMSUNG logo screen. While on that screen my T700 will vibrate once followed by 3 short/quick vibrations. It'll do this vibration pattern every 2-3 minutes. I waited as long as 25 minutes, but I never get past the SAMSUNG screen.
If I can't fix this, I'll just flash TWRP using ODIN and restore a backup.
Edit: Fixed the problem by flashing TWRP and wiping data and cache. Then I flashed the firmware and it worked. I though flashing stock firmware would wipe data and cache for me, but I was wrong.
thanks a lot, I had the same problem
I'm Beat?
How did you get it to boot into recovery after flash of twrp? All I get is bloody samsung boot screen.

Download mode is Power + Home + Volume Down. Try Volume Up instead. The way to remember is Volume Down for Download mode. If Volume Up doesn't work, then I don't know what to tell you.
