Hi,
is there a way to get the new Google Logo on startup, instead of the old one?

Just wondering if there's a way to replace the boot logo on the G3. I have a nice, new boot animation but I'd love to get rid of the LG logo that appears before it!

I'm with you. I'd like to replace it as well. There has gotta be a way. I've causally looked for a month or two and have found nothing so far, except relating to the animations on bouts/shut down.
That initial LG Logo is in the kernel. Once we get custom kernels, we'll get custom boot logos, but not until then.
Hi guys. i downloaded two bootanimations that i want to use in my htc m8. one of them is the stock boot animation that have the htc one logo and the android name on the bottom, the other one is with the same htc one logo but without android logo and later harman/kardon appears. i want to merge them so it appears "htc one android"+"harman/kardon". i tried just replacing the images and creating another zip with store option and do not worked. already set the permissions right. followed this tutorial too and everything seemed right, but just a blackscreen appeared. i will upload the two boot animations, can anyone help me?

Hi there, i recently bought a Nokia Lumia 1020, i changed the ROM to an open Microsoft Rom, but the operator logo still showing in the turn on booting.
Is there a way to remove it? or stay there forever
I appreciate your comments
greetings
Friend, try this method, its easy BUT U deserve to get a ROM without a logo. Install on your phone. I tried here and its works, good look!
You can remove the operator logo, called a boot logo or a splash screen , that appears while an Android device is booting.
wondering if I can swap out or remove the "google" splash logo when starting the device on the google pixel 2 XL?
If so, how? is it safe to do? I am doing it for the company that I use the phone for.
I have my reasons and they're not aesthetics.
The white Google logo that pops up when powering on the device is permanent and cannot be altered. You could try to extract the bootloader and modify it but your modified bootloader will, with near 100% certainty, brick the unit.
The boot animation following the logo can be changed however as that is part of Android rather than the device-level firmware.
