You can see a screenshot where you can see the information in "about phone"?

think you need to restart few time for the signal to stabilize or flash back the rom where lte is working fine

I suspect it's an issue with Band 41. I can't be sure. I can't get Band 41 to work on my phone, either, in Japan, and it seems Band 41 is used in the Philippines as well.

This is definitely a hardware issue because I have this problem way before I was using MIUI 8. I tried flashing the CM14 and the issue is still present. It connects to 4G and then disconnects from time to time. I'm also from the Philippines.

Try to flash again the fastboot stock rom

Try updaing it to v8.1.7.0 it seems they fixed the issue with LTE crash.

Same here
I have the same problem, im using stable miui8.1.1 and the LTE went crazy just this week! Does anyone have quick solution without flashing ROM?
Using 3G H+ doesn't have this problem

I have this reception problem right after I put it on the Verizon network. I put the mimax out of service and used a US Verizon phone for several months thinking because it was a new launch that it would clear up with new updates. I have now put it back in service on Verizon and it's still an issue and I'm only on 3g. I have this problem on both Mi Max`s I own. Can you make any suggestions pls?
Ken Lee, Phoenix, Arizona.

LTE not working on the developers versions. I tried all available roms. Working ONLY on stable versions.

They're messing with things in NYC getting ready for LTE... I'd expect slow speeds... Try a *#0011# and see if you're on Band 4 or Band 2. Band 2 is going to be a lot slower than Band 4.

Try *#2263# and change WCDMA band preference to WCDMA 1900 and run a speed test... I don't know the spectrum numbers for NYC but it might be constrained with the pending LTE launch on Band 4. If that works keep in mind that 1900 doesn't penetrate buildings very well - that being said, it should still be faster than .5Mbps as T-Mobile has better tower placement than Sprint who uses the same band for EVDO.
Otherwise you can try a different baseband. I like MD5 but LI8 is a close second for me.
EDIT: Fixed command from the incorrect 2663 to the correct 2263

Thanks for the reply, I tried typing in *#2663#, It sows TSP threshold 40 and Config TSP FW Version :I747_Me_0507 and I have the choice of TSP FW update for Kernal Binary, It also has the option for Touch Key FW Update.

Oops! Wrong command! And interesting find to boot...
It was supposed be *#2263# my bad.
Interesting that it is calling the phone an I747 though... mine did too. Guess it was an oversight on Samsung's part since 2663 deals with the touch panel.

Tried WCDMA, seeing a slight increase in 4g speed, 1MBPS, but call signal dropped to 1 bar or none.
isn't I747 the AT&T GS3?? idk if its my phone's problem since I rooted and flashed a rom today & running on MD5. Before that I was running fine on stock 4.1.2.

Yeah that's what I was afraid of. It seems like you're in a fringe area. 1900 is the default used for non-3G calls (its where GSM resides)... You could try flashing another radio but it sounds like you have a legitimate signal issue. Flashing another ROM could potentially fix it but its doubtful.

You can try that but I don't think it will make much of a difference. In the *#2263# menu, try setting GSM to 1900... see what your signal looks like then.

Went back to the stock 4.11, still the same speed so i believe its a tmobile issue, might wait a couple days to see if its still the same.
Thanks for the help today
I'm in Delaware with the same problem. My speeds drop when downloading or streaming. It starts out fast then a couple of seconds in it starts dropping
Ex...
Starts out being about 700kbps then to 50.67 or so then 1.53kbps or so. Never used to do this it would stay high through out the whole download

I am not sure if its my phone or the carrier. But it wasn't like this before I rooted, now I am back to 100% stock and still stuck with this speed
Could easily be network issues. You can call support and if there's an outage they'll know about it.

Yeah call support --- this usually goes without saying but don't let them know you've modified the device in any way though.

Running T-mobile on ATT note 2

Hello everyone.
I'm sorry if i write bad English because I'm not really good at it. Sorry in advance.
I have a ATT Note 2 which i bought from a friend and i unlocked it by using the free method from the forms.
When i first unlocked it my phone went to lte signal and my data was working fine and i was getting lte speeds.
I made a phone call which usually drops the single to HSPA+ aka 4g/3g but for some reason my phone doesn't go back to lte after.
I even called t-mobile they said they see my phone was on lte but they don't know why it's not going back to lte.
If anyone here running Tmobile sim in Att note 2 and still getting lte speeds after phone call is made please provide me some instructions as because I've tried everything possible i can from the forms. I've been trying for almost more then 3 to 4 months i still haven't found any solution to this problems.
If anyone can help me out that will be great.
Thank you and sorry for my bad English.
That's odd, mine is unlocked and I use Tmobile but I dont have those problems... maybe it's the modem, could be reception... sorry to head you're having issues dude.

First things first, what solutions have you tried? If we don't know what you've tried it won't help much. Also what method did you use to unlock it?
If you used the free unlock then you have the J2 modem - that's the earliest stock AT&T modem. Since you were able to downgrade, I'm assuming you can upgrade too. Depending on your location (whether t-mobile is using the refarmed AT&T bands or using their own) you can use the latest modem or you can search for a t-mobile modem.
But speed is what matters, not what icon is displayed. Check the phone status under the settings menu to see the actual network type you're connected to.

Why will my OP3 almost never connect to 4G 99% of the time?

My OP3 refuses to pickup 4G in places that my old iPhone 5s and 6P always did. Why is this?
we don't know, we do not know where u r at or what carrier u are on and by 4G do u mean LTE
I got this the first 2 hours that I used my new OP3. It stayed on H+ for 2 hours then without reboot or anything and not even moving, it got LTE.

I am having the same issue. I am on Bell in Toronto Canada. Some areas cannot get LTE. Some times my data just hangs showing full bars. Can't receive or make calls or texts. There are a few threads on different forums with people having the same issue. Hoping it is just a software bug that can be fixed with an update.
I'm O2 Germany and have a really good LTE reception. Look up what LTE bands your carrier is using and compare it to the specs of the OP3. Maybe that's the issue. You can also try to enable flight mode for a few seconds then disable it and the phone will connect new and then you might have LTE.
edit: Seems like Bell Canada is not fully supported but 3 UK is.

Hm I can recommend the app LTE Discovery. Then you'll see if there is any LTE network around you and if the phone receives it.

I am using my OP3 with mobile internet, using google map a lot. But the google map app eating too much data. Even if i download the offline map and trying to use offline the navigation. If i try to use the offline pre downloaded map without internet connection just does not work. After few seconds or minutes the map will become „blank” means no can see the streets and roads. Nothing at all. But if i turn back the internet on my phone everything coming back. But the point is, that is why i want to use offline maps to save my data bundles.
On my OPO it was not a problem, if i was using the offline map and turning off my mobile internet connection the google map was workng fine. I am using CM13/ Marshmallow on both phone.
Also it has never eat so much data like on OP3.
I am on Tmobile UK and using a 1GB data bundle per month. Before was using my OPO the 1 GB data was more then enough for a month using google map almost every day around 7-8 hours a day. I need the google sat nav for my everyday work so that is why using a lot.
But with OP3 only yesterday i was using almost 200MB and it was all the google map.
I was trying to disable background data traffic on the settings, and also the google map settings has some option but just does not help.
If i download the desired map via wifi and after trying to use the map offline it just become „blank” the map. I need to use the mobile internet to be able to use the offline map. Annoying…
AT&T in the US. I can't get LTE at work. Only H+, and sometimes just 3G.
My issue is that when I get into an area that is LTE for certain, the device doesn't pick it up. It stays in 3G or H+.
I then have to toggle the SIM settings on and off for the device to get LTE. Then it is fine until the next time I go into am area without LTE.
My apn settings are correct and my IMEI is mapped correctly.
Changing to LTE only won't work because then sometimes I would have no signal.
Have you installed OOS 3.2.4? If so go back to 3.2.2. There are known connectivity issues with 3.2.4. There's a little more info on the official OnePlus Community forum in case your interested.
best phone for 2016 but with this issue of signal not to good, samsung always stay on 4g as preferred network or if you want 3g it will stay forever with no issue, op3 fix this issue please i love this phone
i'm having the same issue on 3.2.2 and 3.2.4 always the signal drops from 3g to 2g i need to be switching the preferred network type from 3g to 4g LET
i use tigo and claro carrier

Unlocking 4G service on n910p Outside the USA

Hi
i have a couple of questions here , how can i access USB settings on n910p
cyanogenmod rom 5.1.1
becuse i want to try this on it .
and i want to know is the phone hardware locked when it comes to the frequency it supports ?
becuse we have LTE B3 (1800) in my Country , and the phone supporte LTE band 2(1900), 4(1700/2100), 5(850), 12(700), 17(700)
so i want to try and unlock the 4g service if it's possible.
Let me give you an insight about your query...
1. I'm too using an unlocked N910P with a GSM SIM like you where the 4G bands present in my country are not supported by this phone's hardware.
2. I've tried the post that you are referring to in the past but wasn't able to do anything because the software QSPT couldn't find my phone. Tried several times but with no success.
3. You can access USB Settings using Iodene Tools or Galaxy Tools. It has now become a paid software so the developer has removed it from XDA. (Search on XDA to find some threads related to it. You might get help from someone).
In short, it's almost next to impossible to unlock the bands as there's a high possibility that some tempering must have been done with the motherboard to unlock it, especially if the phone you got came with some Chinese firmware on it.
You can always try to check if it works for you or not.

Thank you for your explanations. I have something to ask.
I bought N910P. It was on Lollipop and 4G/LTE network was fine. But then I upgraded to Marshmallow via Odin. And now, there's only 3G with setting already to 4G/LTE. What is this problem related to?
Thanks.

See, the 4G icon that you witnessed after purchasing N910P was just a false indication. In reality, the network was 3G. Even when I got this phone, it was on Lollipop and it used to show 4G and the funny part was that I wasn't even using 4G then.
I've seen many users getting confused regarding this matter.
The only option available is that the network providers of your country start 4G services in the band that is supported in US (which again is highly u).

I've tried that. Seems to me like a problem with default band settings.
In the build.prop it's set to:
ro.telephony.default_network=20,20
Which is asia lte/td-scdma; if i knew how to change it to ro.telephony.default_network=9
i think that would fix it.
For now i'm just waiting for someone to release some baseband versions to flash.

That's not good hopefully get mine in a few days and i'll report back. I had previous phone like Zuk Z2 that had similar bands but work with both LTE and calling/sms no issues.
I and a friend have noticed these same issues it must be android one issue.
I did post in another thread about poor signal on different networks and how it compared to redmi note 2 which doesn't even support a lot of the bands this phone does yet that has far better signal.
My friend doesn't even get signal in his house on o2/ee with this phone it keeps showing up as emergency services only but with redmi note 2 he gets max with o2 on 2g/3g and ee it hops about with half bar for 2g/3g and quater to 0 on 4g in the house.
Seems to work fine for me. I have 4G on and calls come through just fine. Might be a location issue but I'm on Tmobile and in SoCal

Yeah LTE data works great but no calls go through , and there are no GSM antennas near by.
Same issue with my Mi A2 on T-Mobile in the US. I even contacted TMobile about the issue because it seems like a network issue too. It's like it's having issues switching to 3G to accept the call as there is no voLTE. I'm hoping an update to the modem will fix the issue.
