Hello,
I wanted to record a video using both the front and rear cameras at the same time. Is that possible natively? If not can anyone recommend an app?
Thank you

Hey everybody!
There was something that caught my attention lately and I wanted to ask a dev if he could give a look to it.
Supposedly the rear camera module on the 10.1inch models (and possibly 7.0inch ones) supports 1080p video recording and the front facing one 720p. Could somebody give a look on the kernel/drivers and media_profiles.xml (possibly the camera app too) and try to enable them?
Thanx in advance!
I'm new to all this smartphone modding business.
Is there any way that you can record at Standard Definition using the G3? Recording even at 720 takes a fair bit of space.
What's the best way to do this? I haven't rooted my G3, yet.
Thanks in advance.
Well I have downloaded CameraMX, which allows the 480p option.
But I do hate going into a 3rd party app in order to record at 480p
Does anyone have a better solution/suggestion?
No one else is wondering how to record at 480 or even 360?
I noticed the video camera is a bit "bouncy" and does not stitch very well. What cameras apps on the play store will be better than the one plus 3 stock camera app?
Optical image stabilization is currently not working when shooting in 1080p. You'll get it if you record in 4k at the moment.
Other than that, Cinema Fv5 is a great app for recording, although stock is far easier to just pick up and use.

Excessive hand movement leads to ripples forming in the video recorded in 4K.
I wished it was fixed....
any idea how to get it to work? or we have to wait for an update from OP?
Having this issue in 720p and 1080p, in 4K seems to be better.
Anyway while recording through camera app when shooting video to flip it to the front and rear again without pausing in the XL?
Not looking to do it through Instagram or Snapchat before anyone posts that lol
Hey, anyone know if theres a way to record with 2 cameras at once and have them save as separate videos? I have only found apps that save a video with the back and front video overlapped. Thanks in advance
