When will there be a CM14 /Android 7.0 for the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime?
I am now using CM13("stable") based on Xperia ROM.
A user provided an androidfile link that has uploaded LinOS builds for various device, take a look at it at the Index thread. Also, I will strongly suggest reaching out to some of the developers in your forum.

It was ported for Redmi Note 5 Whyred https://forum.xda-developers.com/re...nt/rom-samsung-experience-9-5-whyred-t3885068 but developers are not interested to port it for Redmi 5 Plus by now.
I hope some developer of our device can take this.

Hello guys! I'm a newbie in using Xiaomi devices! I've just unlocked bootloader on my joyeuse device and, searching for custom ROM and twrp, I've found this page on telegram with lots of custom builds! Did anyone tried any of these, or they are full of bugs? My device is redmi note 9 pro global version , 64 gb

Similar situation will happen with Xiaomi SM8150, support for cepheus and raphael is already planned, but the following devices will have support in the kernel sources and are currently waiting for a maintainer:
Mi MIX 3 5G (andromeda), Mi 9 Pro 5G (crux), Xiaomi Pad 5 (nabu)
This is also the case for Mi CC 9 Meitu Edition (vela), basically everything is ready for it (also on the common tree)

Better to find what you need from custom rom first. Your mind is thinking of LOS. But it don't have maintainer. They just build 1 or 2 build and drop.
And don't trust YouTubers too much. They made review for more views more than daily rom for users.

Why shouldn't it be possible? You need the LOS source and the device source, make changes and compile. Why arent you asking the developer, it is DarkJoker360, the maintainer of the official crDroid ROM for this device.
