Newbie question: how to put Jelly Bean on Kindle Fire HD 8.9

Hi,
I am new to Kindle. Had a Viewsonic gTablet and put on custom ROM before. But the initial read seem to suggest that the process is quite different.
Here is I can gather after the some initial reads.
1. Root the device. How to root kindle fire any version (including 8.4.6)
2. Install the 2nd boot loader. Introducing: Kindle Fire 2nd-bootloader + TWRP 2.6.3.0 for the Kindle Fire HD 8.9
3. Install a Jelly Bean ROM. Which one is the latest stable one?
Please let me know if my understanding is correct. Thanks

[Q] [Need Help] HTC Wild Fire S: What rom for which phone?

Hi, I'm really a galaxy y user and have been flashing back and forth from stock and custom roms. If i wanted to flash my galaxy y, all i need to know is what region and what version of rom I want to be able to flash my Galaxy y. But when I encountered HTC, I don't know where to start.
I have a friend who has a bricked HTC Wild Fire S and I would like to help my friend get it back up and running.
My friend has a HTC Wild Fire S bought in singapore and to be used in the philippines. I've read that having a different rom region other than the one you're in will mean you won't be able to use the phone to it's maximum potential.
Anyone who could help me what rom to download and use? Thanks in advance!

The rom types can be divided broadly into 3 categories on the WFS
1. GSM(device codename "marvel")
2. CDMA(device codename "marvelc")
3. 2012 GSM (codenamed "marvel" but require a separate compatible kernel to be flashed for roms to work in most cases, otherwise it would be written as "2012 WFS compatible")
I'd say you go over the thread below for seeing which WFS your friend has and what can be flashed

Unroot to Stock JellyBean Rom

So originally I posted this thread because I was stuck in a recovery limbo. Flashing rom wouldn't work, restoring wouldn't work.
But thanks to the assistance of a few users I found out that the recovery and nightly I was using needed to be updated. Finally flashed CM11 KitKat. Not impressed... Had hoped to be able to print and screen record (features boasted among the official Release feature additons). But right now Im greatly disappointed actually. There seems to be a lot of features (printing, screen recording, and standard Samsung apps/features) either missing, unavailable through CM11 or just not yet available through CM11.
Either way at this point I just need to unroot to OTA, or flash a Jelly Bean stock rom. So thats why I retitled the topic of this thread.
Any searches for original stock roms results in mirrors or links for foreign links, and foreign roms.
Does anyone know of a Jelly Bean stock rom for the Galaxy 8 N5110 for the USA?
I'd prefer to flash using Odin too...
WOuld anyone be able to spare a moment to help me out with this?

Need Help reverting back to FireOS from CM11.

Tried searching for it but too many confusing threads. Can anyone guide to a specific thread in this regard. Currently running CM11 and got the phone this way. No idea what was the stock version running before it was switched to CM11. I found that the latest version available is Fire OS 4.6.6.1 (466001420). Can I simply install this version or not?
Thanks
