Before I get creative with a JTAG let me try asking here. My Fire Phone is stuck in a boot loop, it will show the Amazon logo and then briefly flash the Fire loading screen then back to the Amazon logo again ad infinitum. I tried side loading the official update.bin and it was successful, but then back into boot looping it goes. My phone is the Unlocked GSM model.
Any ideas, or should I put the thing out to pasture?
I have this problem too. But no fireflies showing on my screen. Somebody says factory reset phone. When I try factory reset on recoverymenu installation stripe comes to end but it doesn't says operation is completed
Replace battery. Many people get the same symptom. I got this and replaced my battery. It works well again.
How can I replace my battery? Or is there another way? Sorry for bad english
Hey there! I've the same bootloop problem with my Fire Phone and i even tried new batteries not one but 2 and still i'm facing the same problem with the new battery :/ if anyone knows any solution please let me know. Thanks

So my Kindle Fire died the other day and I plugged it in to charge today and it is stuck in a reboot loop. I can get it to boot completely if I restart it but it will randomly restart itself and then give me the yellow exclamation point. I have tried to find some threads on restoring using images but I can't find any good ones. Any help would be awesome! I had found a thread somewhere that said that the Fire updated itself and now needs to install a new image but I'm not sure
Died like battery was completely dead? Flashing the new bootloader can help with that, as can booting into recovery and just letting it charge, I know twrp works for this, not sure about stock or cwm.

What ROM?
You should try the new firefirefire 1.4 it would help you with boot loop and battery problems.
It can be found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1632375

Can you get into TWRP and perform a Factory Reset?
Re-download your ROM of choice, MD5 it, copy it over, Factory Reset, and reflash.
That worked to resolved my boot looping issue.
Rank newbie here. I did l watch the video of forum instructions for newbies and I have looked high and low for an answer I could understand. I am still stuck so reluctantly....Here we go...
I rooted my KF 2 Gen and had no problem doing so. Installed Google aps store, launchers etc. all on the stock OS.
All worked well until I got smart and decided to try a custom rom. It seemed to install fine. Asked all the options as I installed. Did I want Chrome, what launchers, etc. I wiped all the cache options and system. Went through all those screens and when it finally booted, I am stuck at the stock Kindle Fire logo in a boot loop. It will not connect to the computer. It seems to boot before it is recognized Dug on this forum, made myself a "factory cable" and it does work. When I plug it in, I get the Kindle logo a moment then a flashing gif of a stop light blinking red and green with the words. "Fast Boot" at the top of the screen. The problem is, I can not get the computer to "see" the Kindle Fire 2 Gen on this fast boot/ factory cable. I have tried switching ports, all the suggestions. The cable will launch the tablet into fast boot mode just fine however, the tablet does not connect to the computer. ( Windows XP Pro SP 3). I think I can figure out how to flash and restore on my own if I can get the tablet to communicate with the computer. I have no idea where to go now other than having a brand new paperweight. I just bought it two days prior and I suppose I could return it but the issues were caused by me so I don't feel like it's their duty to replace it.
Thanking you in advance for your assistance.
Go into TWRP, factory reset, and try again.

Thank you for your reply.
Sadly, the boot sequence terminates and it reboots before it ever gets to the TWRP stage.

No, Soup. I would never get to the blue logo but....
I got it flying! After I got to fast boot, I swapped the fast boot cable to a regular cable and all was down hill from there on. I'm looking at a booted tablet.
Beers on me next time I am in Austin!

Had to RMA mine to Asus within 24 hours of receipt for this very same issue. It was a failure on the motherboard and they had to replace. They noted the problem as LED (Indicator) Error on the packing slip as the reason for the repair. Hope you are still under warranty. You did not get a 16G from the recent ebay sale for 129, by any chance, did you? A few people have reported the same.
Mine just did the same thing.... screen started acting wonky, it did a reboot and BAMN google logo. No recovery, only bootloader. No amount of factory image flashing brings it back.
Have no warranty due to it having had a screen replacement in the Spring... ...
And it's a Deb. This tablet has been a terrible experience.
So pressing the power button does not cause the device to boot normally (the second screenshot)?
My fire TV is stuck on the white amazon logo, it won't boot pass that... I tried to boot into recovery but it doesn't work, I also tried factory reset with the remote and it won't work... The only thing I can get to do anything is fastboot but I can't boot into recovery from there... Any suggestions would be great... (Error came from trying install a pre-rooted rom, [must of been corrupt, I'm sure that's my fault] it made it half way through then gave me a error. Like a dumb @$$ I rebooted it and now I'm stuck)
