hello all,
when I'm using the "auto" mode on my camera (the original app) the auto-focus does'nt work well.
only when I switch to "manual" mode and play with the focus the camera works good, but it does'nt save the settings.
does anyone have the same preoblem? and someone know how to fix it?

Hey peeps,
Yeap, I did search a lot before posting it, but apparently the other topics are not quite about the same thing.
My HTC One M8 rear camera is not working anymore (buzzing sound, it is a hardware issue and I can't send it to repair for now).
I need to use some apps that turn the camera on automatically, but they don't provide the option to change from rear/front. So, when they turn the camera on, they use the REAR camera, which is not working (it opens normally, but it can't focus, so it's useless).
So, I need to force apps (and, hopefully, the whole system) to use the FRONT camera as default, maybe by disabling the rear camera? I don't know yet.
Does anyone have any light about the process? Is there any filesystem I can edit to disable rear camera / force front camera?
I'm on Marshmallow, CM13.
Thanks!
Has anyone tried to create or save any manual camera mode quick settings? For instance, something that would launch the camera in manual mode with the shutter and ISO locked in for motion photography, and another for low light photography? It seems like 90% of the time that I launch the manual camera, I'm going for one of these 2 things. It'd be convenient if most of the settings were already locked in where I want them to end up! :good:
This makes no sense to me, because the light conditions are not always the same. One setting may work in the scenario you created it, but not for another, even if they are similar. By the way, I have this function on my D7100, but I only find using it when shooting with artificial lights (speedlight).
Hi !
I really love to take pictures with my XA2, but I have noticed something quite strange.
When in "Superior Auto" phone detects the "Backlight" scene, shouldn't it trigger the HDR mode automatically ? I think it should, but it does not.
The HDR is working great in manual mode, but I haven't noticed any difference between photo with scene detected as "Backlight" and without any scene detected (just a "normal", non-hdr photo)
Is this just the case with this model, or it's "by design" ?
So using the *#808# diagnostic menu I can see the the first rear camera is inoperable but the second rear camera and the front camera work. I know about the *#*#1576#*# or whatever thing that pulls up the camera and should let you cycle through which one it's using. However because it first tries to pull up the dual camera before you can switch, the app crashes. I also tried the nokia camera that lets you select individual camera modules and the same thing happens. Is there anyway to change my camera preference or to disable the first camera so it defaults to the second rear camera?
Thanks.
When Whatsapp Camera is opened, it automatically goes to Wide Angle Mode and cant manually focus also (in my other phones, i can touch screen and focus the area i needed).
Did any one face this issue in S20 + 5G
Yes, I flip to the front facing camera then return to back camera and it works
