The other guy also got it replaced. Was a sharp panel..those are also built into the 10...but it was probably another model.

Hi There,
I apologies if this has already been answered but i just couldn't locate it... However, the issue is that i've recently bought an original Galaxy S3 MHL Cable (Part#EPL-3FHUBEGSTD) but it doesn't work with my HOX, as i connect it...nothing happens!
So can anyone be kind enough to please tell me whether it's compatible with hox and if it's not then which one can i go for...which is easily available in the market, as i couldn't locate anything made by HTC in Indian market...
Thanks a ton!

Did you plug your charger into the side of the MHL adaptor to power it at the same time? I would of thought it should be compatible.

I believe they should be compatible. I'm using this one which also states it's for samsung and it is working flawlessly.

Thanks for the reply, yeah i tried with the adapter aswell but it still doesn't detect anything...
just for the pointers...i am using ARHD 9.7.2 and i tried to use a couple of kernals to have OTG feature, however that also didn't work and as i've just bought the HDMI cable that also is not working, so could the kernal be the reason? i tried flashing other kernals but still the result is same...i am on 2.17.xxx and i don't have the nand backup so i wont be able to go back to stock aswell... any advice?

Flash the stock kernel and see if works if you haven't already.
Works for me. The phone will only show something when an actual connection is made IIRC.

But it doesn't....tried everything, maybe it has something to do with either kernal or the rom as my OTG is also not working...
Update: Even after going back to stock it doesn't work!!!
Hi!
I have installed a new touch screen in my device desire, but is not working good.
What is the problem?
The HBOOT returns at image.
Thanks at all.
:good:
Bye
The problem is the black stripe on the screen? Did you connect everything accordingly?

No, the stripe is only the plastic protector.
I think that all things is right connected.
My Original touch have CHIP = C1 and the new screen had CHIP = E8
*CHIP <-- Reference a image
I don't understand your problem. A lcd sostution shouldn't compromise anything, but maybe... (????) your nand was deleted?
Can you enter recovery? Try to install something
I was trying a touch with different chip and it did not work at all (6 mounts ago - don't remember how do the chip was called)
But can you explain what is your problem?

When I was trying another tuch my phone also boot up normally, but had no response.
So I think a47hitman have similar case..
maybe its the wrong one so. i just assumed that if the phone boots n looks normal then something is faulty r not connected.
seen smth similar to this. its most probably a matter of connection cable. try cleaning the connectors.
Okay so i was on Marsh mellow 6.0.1 and then the tablet died due to battery running out. Once i rebooted it, it was stuck at the LG logo and said something like "No Secure Booting". It just froze. Then i got into download mode, opened LG Support Tool and tried Updating Software as i have had this exact problem before and this worked last time. However this time it got to around 83% then the tablet lost connection. Ive tried this multiple times now and every 4-5Mins it just disconnects.
However after many failed attempts it now doesn't enter download mode, doesn't make sound when connected to PC and doesn't show any life.
also cannot access TWRP
any help would be appreciated!
In Windows' Device Manager, does the tablet show up in the Modem or Ports section? If it shows up as "QHSUSB_BULK 9008", Google that and at least if you have a TOT file available for your particular model and variant, then you should be able to recover using directions/program you can find.
I have the same problem with a G Pad of mine. It was working fine, boot looped (with 50% battery) then switched off. No life at all, no amount of button combinations or charged plugging in will bring it back. I've resorted to finding a donor motherboard to see if it'll work with a new motherboard or if some other component is at fault!

Hi,
Yes, nothing in device manager under Modem or Ports. I don't get any noise when I plug or unplug it either so the computer isn't seeing it.

Just to confirm; new motherboard has worked, tablet is now back to life. Not sure what could have happened to the old one but I did buy this second hand and it was a prone crasher and the tablet had already been opened so who knows what they did to it.

Not at all; I paid £50 for the new motherboard. Just luck of the draw somebody was selling a G Pad with a broken screen on eBay.
Thanks
Thank you, I'll keep an eye out.

Update!!
Currently got the tablet back into working order no replacement hardware needed.
Problem:
Tablet not responding to any user input or software detection. not charging and no life of any sort.
Solution:
( 1 )Charge tablet with a powerful legitimate LG charger (not a cheap Chinese knockoff).
( 2 )Leave on charge for at least 1 and a half days.
( 3 )Press power button to check if device powers, if not continue.
( 4 )Connect USB to PC, Press and hold Volume Up and Down simultaneously and insert USB into charger port.
( 5 )Download mode should appear and you'll be able to flash stock from LG Support Tools or LG Flash Tool
Disclaimer:
May not work for all as some problems may occur for different reasons.

I have had my Note 10+ for about over a week now. Last night I used samsung pay and it started flashing
"Android System USB Connector Connected"
"Android System USB Connector Disconnected"
I have searched online and have tried a few different things.
I can reboot the phone and it will work fine for a few hours and then it starts doing it again. I do not have case on the phone and the USB port is fine. (From what I can see.)
Any Ideas

Tried that justnow, no luck. Thanks. I tried a fresh install of my ROM, wiping everything, and still got the issue when rebooting. i would have no problem IF I could force Android to not wake when the USB is plugged in or out. Not sure how to set that. You can turn off the notification in settings.

Tried that. When you first go in, nothing is selected. I chose a couple but nothing worked. Settled on charging only. No luck.
Also from Googling tried cleaning out the port. But it was pretty clean.

The C port PCB maybe defective. A couple SM mosfets, caps and resistors on it.
Relatively easy to change out, a $20 part*. Make sure you ID it by the PN# on it. If you get the wrong one you'll lose your mobile connection... so I learned recently
There's at least 2 variants for the 10+ and some parts guys aren't too bright.
Make sure to try at least one known good cable first. A cable failure is more likely.
*always nice to have a spare one handy.

Less questions that don't have any answers.
Larger adaptation means most of the bugs if not worked out are at least well known.
Stock Android are also nearly impossible to crash and burn barring acts of gross stupidity.
Lol, if I want to play with demons I still have W7.
I just find a demo S4 at 180$ can I disable demo mode?
The guy who sell it say that is charging only at 70%
And its possible to disable the animations?
Or to flash a custom rom or a normal rom?
The cheapest normal tablet is 312$

I don't buy it becouse I find that you risk to bick the tablet of you try to flash custom rom or normal rom
Instead I buy with 50$ one faulty
I separate the amoled from frame and i clean the sockets and reattached but some time still i have this faulty, most of time its working with no problems.
I can post the picture but half screen shown some lines but the touch still works

I tried many ROMs and none seemed to work, until I did a wipe reset and wipe cache from the recovery, I put reboot in bootloader, flashed again with the last rom I downloaded, and it works perfectly
