The phone icon has disappeared from my front screen & also the contact list has also disappeared (therefore i cannot ring / contact anyone).
I have tried a factory re-set, but still nothing happens
Can anyone help please.

Can anyone tell me if they have encountered this problem. Deleting a call in the call history, you select the caller icon on the right hand side of the screen, and you select delete, then delete all calls from this contact. Then for some reasons the touch flo resets and it brings you back to a home screen. I have done a hard reset and downloaded the latest rom, but it has made no difference. Problem does not happen all the time, but it is annoying. can anyone help?

but i have another one .. some times in the history it have the number under unknown called while when i received it it was under the right name
also i dont like that there is no colour differentiation between mis calls and incoming and outgoing for fast recognition by the 1st glims
I've been having the same kind of bug in two different applications now in my Desire. I can't seem to find anyone with a similar problem and the HTC support couldn't help me at all.
1. I got an SMS from my friend, and suddenly the smilie in the message wasn't the regular orange face. Instead it was a green android. At the same moment all the previous smilies turned into text and my Messages application's FPS got extremely low. I rebooted and then did a factory reset on my phone leaving no messages in it, but the FPS in the Messages application is still horrible and scrolling is very hard. Also now all of the smilies are in plain text, no pictures anymore.
2. Today I went to my favourites category in the People program. I wanted to remove a contact so I pressed the contact long and selected "delete contact". The contact didn't get deleted but instead the favourites category turned as slow as the Messaging program is. If I go back to the regular groups window the FPS is good as well as in any other category like co-workers. The FPS gets slow when I go to the favourites folder. I got the contact deleted by pressing menu and selecting "delete contacts" but the problem still occurs. Reboot nor factory reset won't work.

I just flashed my phone again with the 1.21 ROM and the problem presisted. Where could the problem be? Especially the slow Messaging application is very annoying.
After reflashing my phone I tried the application with no messages in it and it was still slow. I then restored my old messages.

The favourites category started working normally after I removed all contacts and restored them back again.
EDIT: NVM, the category got slow again after I added the contacts back in the category.

When I go into a message thread or go back to the main tree the horizontal scrolling animation is fast. Only the vertical scrolling is slow.
I have recently upgraded my DHD to 2.3.3 and everything seems to work just fine except for one thing.
In the dialer, the area above the buttons usually show my recent call list and if I press any numbers it shows quick contacts lookup.
After the upgrade however, this area is blank. I played a bit around with the dialer and noticed that if I press a few numbers and then delete them again, the blank area is suddently showing the contacts list again (as it is supposed to). After that it works as it normally would in the dialer.
I talked to a few others which have similar problems but we havent been able to pinpoint a pattern for why this happens.
Anyone inhere have the same problem and more importantly - anyone that knows how to fix this?
I did a normal upgrade without factory reset - one of the other guys with the problem did a factory reset as well.
If you are using a non-stock launcher (ADW / LauncherPro etc...) you must delete the shortcut from your homescreen or dock, and re-add it. Also, if you launch phone from the app drawer, it should appear normal.
How did you work that out? Very impressed! Been bugging me for days.
My LG G4 is 815 international version. The Contacts App come with the phone will suddenly disappear when I try to search contacts. When I try to edit the contacts, it will suddenly disappear and display the home screen. Seems the "Contacts App" has a built-in "3 second display" and it will appear for a very short time, and then it is gone and go back to home screen.
Is there anyone knows what is going on? How to solve this problem?

I've purchased Vivo V9 a month back and I like this model. But, I am facing notifications issue in my Vivo V9.
Thing is, when I got notifications on Whatsapp, G-Mail, Missed Calls, Messages etc. so all of these notifications doesn't always shows up in the locked screen/notification tray etc. I am a freelancer and it's very important for me to keeping eye on my G-Mail, UpWork App (My Work Related App), Parallel Space (Using one useful clone app on this), Skype etc. But most of the times, I don't get any notifications on the locked screen even sometimes on the notification tray. I've checked with all the settings such as each app's notifications/permissions settings, general notification settings etc. everything. Even, restored my phone for two times. But, I always missed few of my important notifications. i.e. I've setup Whatsapp to show all the notifications one the locked screen, pop-up, notification tray etc. but whenever i got message on Whatsapp, it makes sound, popup appeared, showed in notification tray but doesn't show in locked screen.
Moreover, sometimes the notifications doesn't shows up even on a notifications tray.
I wanted to know that is somebody facing this kind of issue on this model? If so, what did you do to resolve this? Or, if someone has idea of all the possible reasons for this issue?
