Galaxy Tab Pro 8.4 Freezes On Boot - Galaxy Tab Pro 12.2, 10.1, 8.4 Q&A, Help & Trouble

My 8.4 running CM 13 (not sure what build, it's a couple weeks old anyway) evidently rebooted itself overnight while on the charger. I woke up at one point and the screen was on at the CM boot (blue robot (?) face with flashing circle behind it) and seemed to be stuck. I powered it off and went back to sleep. In the morning I tried to power it on with the same results - it freezes at the CM screen. I've let it go for what seems like a long time and it does not progress.
I really like my tablet, how do I fix it?

I ended up doing a factory reset and it seems fine now. I updated to the latest nightly as well.

[Q] Sudden force reboot, phone not booting.

I'm your average custom ROM flasher, so I know my way around basic ROM flashing stuff.
The situation that I'm about to describe happened on:
GT-I9250 maguro running Xylon 2.1.1 (Feb28), on AK 710 kernel, with a Feipusi 2200mah battery.
The device was connected to a charger that was plugged into a wall. This is a charger that I bought a few days ago and have had no problems since.
I was browsing on xda on the device and tapped on a download link for a ROM, when there was a sudden flash at the bottom of my phone and my phone force shutdown and rebooted. Since the Gnex has the notification LED at the bottom, I don't know if the flash was a notification coming in. If it was indeed the notification LED, then I have no reason to be worried. However, if the flash was caused by the charger, then I'm worried. But I don't know the cause of the sudden flash. After the flash, the phone rebooted, but. ot stuck right after the Cylon (AK Kernel) logo that appears after the Google logo, and kept showing a black screen. In short, like this (Google logo - Cylon logo - black screen). So I pulled the battery, popped it in again, and tried to boot the phone again. The black screen happed again. So I went into CWM Recovery and did a Nandroid restore (Vanir Feb 25 v4.002b). Booted fine. But this whole thing scared me out a bit, so if anyone could tell me what happened it would be really appreciated. Thanks.
Note: I acquired this phone approximately two weeks ago, and the original owner says to have been using the Feipusi battery without problems. I'm saying this because the battery seems to be the only 'unofficial' component in the device.

[Q] Phone is only half booting

Last night I left pandora playing as I fell asleep. After a while I decided to stop the music, so I disconnected the headphones and just left it there. When I went to use it after I woke up I had gotten a half lit screen. I think it was that the backlight was on but not the actual screen. Nothing would get it to wake up, so I pulled the battery. When I went to reboot it the Samsung logo came up very briefly and then it just goes to the half lit screen again.
This has happened before. I was using AOKP previously. When it happened I just reflashed the AOKP rom and it seemed to fix itself. But after that I decided to switch to paranoid android a week ago. I'm on PA 3.99. I tried reflashing this time, and it did not work.
I don't think its a sticky power button since the phone doesn't turn itself on when I pull the battery and put it back.
I can get into recovery just fine.
Any ideas on how to fix it?
Edit: I just wiped it and it went past the Samsung screen and showed the PA boot screen. But after that it's just a black screen.

Your nand could be corrupt. Best bet is to odin back to stock as it should clean up your partitions.

[Q] Latest cyangoenmod and bricking?

Hi,
I just recently ran into a possible bricking issue with the latest stable relesae of CM. I upgraded yesterday, and it worked great. But throughout the course of today apps started freezing up and the like, especially core apps.
I went through the procedure of restarting it, and then it couldn't even do that properly. After that it got stuck on the boot screen and I had to pull the battery in/out. And now it won't even turn on.
but if I plug it into my computer with no battery, the red light goes off.
This guy also seems to be having the same problem as me: http://forums.androidcentral.com/sa...amsung-galaxy-s3-wont-turn-2.html#post3114995

[Q] Nexus screen won't sleep with cyanogenmod 10.2

Hi i own a great nexus since it's release and am very pleased with it. I rooted it installed cyanogenmod as soon as i got it . never had problems before since the old days and always updated to stable versions. with the occasional bugs i sometimes had to erase my whole phone but that usually got it back up again . this is different, i am now on 10.2 and every time i press the power button to sleep the phone the screen goes back on again. not too annoying but it's killing my batteries. i searched online before posting and i turned daydream off, changed the sleep timer on screen rebooted and pulled the batterie. im out of options i reflashed CM 10.2 and wiped the phone cache and dalvik. anubody know what to do ??? my phone is still in mint condition and want to keep for the rest of my contract. CM 11 installed but problem charging with phone off

rooted my samsung note 2 (N7100) the hard way (by flashing philz with odin then having to take the battery out because otherwise samsung reinstalls its own stuff), and successfully. then flashed cyanogenmod (the latest snapshot). every works great. but if i charge the phone while the phone is switched off, the big grey battery icon comes on screens, and stays there with no animation. and when i unplugged the charger, the battery icon is still there,. i have to hold the power button down to hard reset it each time. if not the battery icon stays (hence the screen remains on) and just withers away the battery. tried everything a layman could do. flashed back to stock samsung, everything works fine. tried omnirom, same problem. tired using CMW as the recovery as well. any ideas would be much appreciated.
