Hello,
I have got a strange problem, running BJRR (no problems with OOS):
Very often I cannot connect to Bluetooth audio on my car. Phoning works, but it cannot connect to a2dp. Sometimes it connects then, but I hear my music through my phone speaker, but can control it using my car.
The phone often says "Bluetooth connected (no media)"
This seems to be a cm issue. Can anybody confirm or help?
Best regards
yeah its a known problem with CM, i think even after merging OOS nougat blobs to CM its still have problem with some Bluetooth devices

on the edge of updating to froyo at the moment but might wait a week or two for the little problems to get ironed out..
just wondered though if they have improved the Bluetooth on the phone ?
I have heard a few people having problems with the HTC implementation of it and have myself a device with pairs but does not connect
thanks

hi mitch,
bluetooth issues are still there after official htc 2.2 froyo update.
I have a Logitech diNovoMini keyboard that can pair but not connect to my desire.
htc broke the damn thing...
Bluetooth woes
I have just bought a Linx B-Tube. It should function as a bluetooth headset (only it has a speaker). I was hoping to pair it with my Desire which was running Cyanogenmod RC1. I couldn't get it to pair so I decided to make the leap to the nightly to see if it made any difference....nope!
I can see the device and I am prompted for a passcode for connecting. When I enter the code it just goes back to the original screen and doesn't pair.
I have also tried pairing to my MacBook pro with the same result..
Any solutions would be much appreciated
I have a Vodafone unbranded HTC Desire running Froyo, and I have a similar bluetooth problem. It really sucks. My Plantronic bluetooth headset can pair and connect with the phone without any problem. The connection is fine and will automatically be re-established if the headset is in range. However, occasionally, yes, occasionally, the headset will be detected and connected, but can NOT be used. I can see the icon that shows that the bluetooth headset is connected. However, clearly the phone voice output is for whatever reason NOT routed to the bluetooth headset, and hence I can't talk using the headset. I found that once I got this issue, the only way to solve it is to unpair and re-pair the bluetooth headset.
Very annoying. These days software quality control is very poor.
Hi my problem is different. both with Android 2.1 and 2.2 my bluetooth headset (Blueant Q1) works fine except when the Wifi Connects to a new hotspot. When this happens teh bluetooth headset discoinnects and then reconnects : (
Maybe I should be happy it works most of the time listening to previous posters !
Is any one with problem for the bluetooth connetion? It will drop after a few min. and try to reconnect have no respond, need to reboot the phone. Is it the setting or bug?

Mine has not done this with my Jawbone Icon, Motorola S10-HD stereo headphones or my Volkswagen Tiguan. Perhaps you might try another bluetooth device?
buletooth issue?
I had try different device and do the same thing, like my audi q7 and jarba headset and the garmin. Can you tell me what buletooth setting you are using?
Mine has intermittent issues as well, I'm using an older Motorola 710 BT earpiece. I'll only turn on BT on the phone when I know I'm going to use the earpiece, such as when driving or needing to be hands-free. I only activate the earpiece after enabling BT on the phone, but there are times when the earpiece does not connect.... the only fix is to reboot the phone. Is that similar to the issue you are having?
I'm having issues connecting to my car. If I reboot the phone and connect it will work. But once it's disconnected and I turn bluetooth off and then back on from the phone, it will not connect. Only way to fix it is to reboot. Don't know how to fix the issue. Never had a problem connecting my Sensation to my car's bluetooth.
My issue is similar in turning bluetooth on and off via the power widget and not being able to re-connect to my bluetooth earpiece after a few cycles. I'm wondering if it may be an issue with it being BT 2.0 versus BT 3.0 on the phone?
I thought it was my car but a lot ppl is having this issue too.
Sometimes it wont connect but it says connected so i have to go to BT settings and click where it says connected n overwrite the connection for it to work if not gotta restart the phone. :/
Tmo Galaxy S2
I'm having problems with a SoundFly FM Transmitter in my car.
At first it took forever to pair. And even when paired & connected it's really glitchy.
I'm using this mainly for GPS turn by turn over the car sound system. But because it is glitchy I can't use it because some of the directions get cut off.
I had a MyTouch 4G before. No problems whatsoever. I don't if it's a hardware or driver or BT device issue.
I'm willing to get a new FM Transmitter but not if it does the same thing.
It didn't work well on stock or rooted w/ Juggernaut rom
this is quite annoying. I wonder why this topic died so quickly, there have to be more people with this problem? Maybe has something to do with a bluetooth power saving sleep feature? Streaming music, pause music for a few minutes, incoming call gets connected but I get no sound through headset.
Since i update to CM13 in the Tap Pro 8.4 i habe a Bluetooth issue. I can conect to my soundbar but the audio stutters. I can not listen to music any more. It worked on cm12...
CM13 is not stable yet, it was just released a few weeks ago, personally I have tested bluetooth (audio, gamecontroller) and it works ok with my equipment, but I have noticed they have verbose logging on for BT (logcat goes on forever) so that could be whats causing your issue, I suggest waiting until the first stable build comes out or revert to 12.1 in the meantime.
also try disabling 2.4ghz wifi.
sad but...
I go back to 12.1 the bluetooth issue seems to be a cm13 problem.
Hi folks....
I have a Tab Pro 8.4 with CM13 on it.
I was trying to pair a small bluetooth speaker to this tablet and had no luck.....the speaker pairs fine with my phone.
Any suggestions of a solution?
Thanks for your assistance
Hi. Wondering if anybody could help. When I connect my oneplus 5T to my car I have problems. When it starts to call it disconnects the bluetooth from the car completely. However the call continues on the phone which is a complete pain as you cant use it through the hands free. Car is a BMW 630CI with pro nav if that helps.
Many Thanks
i first had problems to connect to my audi A3 bluetooth ... it simply didnĀ“t find it
after trying again and changing the bluetooth audio codec it suddenly worked ...
Idk if it will work for you, but you can try changing the codec and se if it helps
Hi. Ive tried all 3. It connects fine and I can see my contacts but as soon as I hit dial it disconnects from the car.
Very strange.
Thanks for the suggestion tho
with mine in my car it every now and then gives me this a crackling sound.. Kind of irritating, I'm hoping a software update down the road fixes this.. I've tried all 3 codecs
Having issues with Bluetooth connection on my Prius Prime as well. It always disconnects, I had to disable Bluetooth on the phone and re-able it for it to work.
I experience the same with my Boss QC35. First connection, audio breaks with lots of noise and had to disable it and re-enable it.
Still found no solution. Hope the next update sorts it out as the bluetooth seems a mess.
So after looking around, there are issues with certain codecs and devices connecting being posted in the OP community forums. My Sony WH1000xm2 headphones stutter when using AptX HD. My JBL Everest 750NC's - if you turn the volume up too high, they disconnect from the phone. In my Cadillac ATS, whenever you place a call it'll stay connected, but you won't hear anything, and the other user can't hear you either.
I think they've acknowledged the issues and are working on them, but after putting Oreo on my Moto G5 Plus and Oreo's ability to change between all codec's on the fly (including native LDAC support!) I'm anxiously awaiting Oreo to be 'officially' released.
I'd say just be patient.. I'm sticking with this phone because I think it'll be worth it in the end. Wish I had better news!
so I resolved my Bluetooth issues by flashing FreedomOS. Now there is no intermittent crackling sound now and there is no issues at all ymmv, this was just my experience.
Thanks. Will wait for Oreo and then try different roms if it continues.
on FreedomOS before, it was giving me headache re-connecting to my Subaru car bluetooth, like after you shutoff engine, go somewhere and come back, unless you manually force connecting to the car, it barely auto reconnect back.
And also takes so long to get data sync from my Fitbit chargeHR to the app.
I don't think this kind of bluetooth issue related to what rom we have but the kernel and more specifically BT firmware.
-----edit-------
My friend also got BT issue when he tried to connect to BT headset. Hope Oneplus get something fixed on new oreo or updates
Just an update. Since upgrading to the official Oreo rom my problems have disappeared and my phone now works fine with the car Bluetooth.
Chris
I still have problems. Pause and unpause, and the track restarts. After ending a phone call the track restarts. 2018 RAM, Uconnect
With stock ROM 4.7.2 bluetooth connected only for a few seconds with my Audi A6. With every following stock ROM version it didn't even connect.
I tried every single Audio-Codec and the different settings in developer options - nothing helped. Once I cleared data & cache from the bluetooth system apps followed with a soft brick
Hi all,
Had same issues with my Hyundai ix35 and oneplus 5t (Nougat), tracks skipping, distorted audio in calls, etc... Tried emptying bluetooth cache, switching audio codecs without success. Now I just received the OTA update to Oreo (8.0), Oxygen rom 5.0.3 and it solved the issues!!! Yeay, no more auxilary cable hanging around !

I started from scratch but the issue persists.
I am having the same issue in my car. It no longer displays track information and the connection is not very stable. I will try switching the codec and report back.
i don.t have any volume control from the phone basically when i connect it to my car stereo
i can control the volume for the first 4-5 clicks ... and then the slider moves but there is no difference in the volume
i have to turn the volume from the stereo almost to the max
whit my old samsung tablet works great ... i have maybe 50% more volume then with my phone
tried all codecs ...
Hi, im having bluetooth issues with mi6 miui 9.5.6.0 global stable.
I've read that generally, android oreo has problems with bluetooth, and the oreo roms for mi6 also has problems.
I just want to play on my mi6 with my ds4 with headphones(any audio source), but it has severe lag after 30 seconds.
I tried the app bluetooth auto connect as many suggested, but the problem with this app is that it momentarily disconnects my ds4 for about 0.5 secs around every 5 seconds. Sure, it removes the lag and recconects automatically but the constant disconnections is a deal breaker when playing pubg. That small stutter-disconnect is very annoying to say the least.
Next i tried using otg cable to have a wired connection to the ds4. The problem here is that you can't use earphones since you are using the sole usb port. I also cant use the ds4's audio jack since turning off the "disable audio routing to usb" option in the developer menu make my phone freeze.
I also tried to update from beta builds to my current stable build, but the problems still exists.
Now, my question is that is there any stable non-oreo roms out there that i can use for ds4 bluetooth or wired ds4 with working usb audio routing? I'm thinking lineage os, but i belive only 15.1 (oreo) is available for mi6, and I'm assuming it has faulty bluetooth since it is oreo.
