Let's start at the beginning :
My Nexus 5x got little wet (few drops of water went beneath the bumper) about 3 months ago. After that time I had speaker problems : 2 things have not been working and 1 working :
- loudspeaker - not working
- normal speaker (during normal call) - working
- multimedia speaker - not working
Now the best part. Few hours ago I've updated my Nexus from Android 6 to Android 7.1.1 and things have changed :
- loudspeaker - working
- normal speaker (during normal call) - not working
- multimedia speaker - not working
Someone have an idea what have coused that swap ? I'm sure that it cannot be coincedence, because I was calling just 2 minutes before the update (and everything worked) and just after the update has been finished.

As the title says:
I'm currently trying to run the FRX06 release on my Touch Pro 2 RHOD 100. The problem is that when receiving and making calls the call seems to "go through" but there is no sound in the speaker but noise, and the microphone is not working.
Since making and receiving calls is a very vital part of my phone usage , I would like to know if any of you have experienced the same problem or have a solution for this?

I found a solution. I followed the guide for android on SD-card and now it works - sort of... I still have to hit the speaker button when receiving calls - but that one is to live with. Besides that I havn't found any "show-stopper" yet. Or at least the bugs that I have found is nothing compared to how annoying WM 6.5 is....

I recently bought an used phone in Spain. The phone arrived with android 9 (I don't remember exactly which version) and I checked all the functions with the service menu. The only thing that worked badly was the secondary microphone, which had a recording volume extremely low. I thought it could be fine anyway. So I updated the phone OTA, then I did a companion restore (to 52.1.A.0.618). At that point I put the sim, and made the first whatsapp call. Everything was fine at the beginning but at the end of the call, the speaker started croaking (badly). From the service test I identified the bottom speaker (the one called right) as the malfunctioned one. So, thinking it was the fault of the update I downgraded to Android 9, following the guide on that forum, but it didn't work. Then I updated again with flashtool to Android 10, first with the Italian firmware (to 52.1.A.0.672), then with the Iberian firmware (to 52.1.A.0.618). But in both cases even the microphone no longer works correctly. If I record video, the microphone works fine, while if I make calls, the microphone works only if I put it on loud speaker. In the normal mode the interlocutor hears me but at a very low volume. Same problem from the service test. The microphone works, but only if I speak attached to the microphone hole. I tried to clean with a toothbrush, but problem still there. The phone has no cover.
Any one faced similar problems?
Fixed by replacing them. Now facing touch screen issue (updated to 52.1.A.0.672)

I bought an XZ2 Compact recently and downloaded every updates. The last one is the 52.1.A.3.49 and I have the problem with the microphone : working for recordings or calls on loud speaker but not working for calls without the loud speaker.
What can I do ?

I have very similar problems with a used phone that I bought (secondary microphone very low volume). Am I reading you correctly, that you installed a new microphone and this fixed the issue?
Hi.
I bought my phone around 3 weeks ago and suddenly the main mic stopped working . It doesn't matter if it's in calls or video recording or sound recording , it doesn't work.
When I record something with no sound around , afterwards when I listen to it , it's kind of a noise like paper on wood . Also the secondary mic Wich is on top of the phone is working but in very low volume.
I have tested both in the testing program (the one that opens up after taping 5 times on kernel) and none of them passed the test.
Right now I'm at work but when I get home I try and upload some recordings ، for now I just wanna know what's what. . thanks

Got my unit from US. JIO does not provide eSIM for this. Luckily, Airtel does. Took about a week to make it fully functional n transfer all my stuff n the 107 apps from my old Redmi Note 4x. Minor glitches are still there .... Google to do some fine tunings....waiting.....
When in any call - voice or video or whatsapp call - the other party can't hear my voice IF I OPT FOR SPEAKER MODE AT MY END
It is quite irritating. Either I have to use earphones for such video calls or simply disable speaker n use only the ear piece.
No issue with all the microphones n speakers. All working fine. It is only a software issue. Waiting for a solution.....

I just bought a used H8314 XZ2 Compact.
During call I have no sound if I press the speaker button (on Android 10 and Los 19).
What I did before I noticed the problem : phone was on stock. Unlock the bootloader, install Lineageos 19. Used the phone; during call speaker not working.
Downgrade to Android 10 stock, the speaker still not work...
If I do the Microphone and speakers Xperia Tests, I can ear the sound coming from loudspeaker but the test failed for the microphone. But microphone is working...
Could anybody tell me please if it's a hardware issue ?
EDIT : I just did a test with music. Sound is just coming out from the top speaker, nothing from the bottom speaker. With my other XZ2C sound is coming out from both speakers.
I've contact the vendor, of course, this never happened before.
Is it possible that unlocking the bootloader and installing Lineageos 19 can broke the the bottom speaker ?
