Android 7.1.1.
and I'm rooted, and I did a factory reset. but still I'm having the same problem.
Your help is much appreciated.

I just started with the can't connect to camera issue yesterday, first time I used the camera since the recent 7.1.1 update, was at a party and tried to take a photo, image just froze then got the error message. It has now been doing this randomly and for no reason. Force stopped the camera, cleared cache and data, uninstalled camera update and re installed. A quick Google throws up plenty of people with the same issue, even after a full reset and also with replacement devices. Just hope this is a software issue and hopefully easily fixed with an update.

My issue is more that the app won't stop immediately crashing but a third party camera works.
I just want the original app back for the burst mode.

Camera Settings bug 5.1.1

Just updated my S6 EDGE and I just notice Camera settings won't fully Open after I touched the Gear icon. I already clear the cache and data in Application Manager for the Camera. But the problem still persist.

Try rebooting phone.

My galaxy s6 camera settings won't work. Every time I try to click it, it would go into it and then cancel it. So I don't really know what the problem is but I've restarted my phone, even factory reset and master reset. After that it would work for little while, then it would occur again out of nowhere. Please help with this problem.
I have no problems with settings in camera mine work as well

If your phone is stock and un tampered with all camera settings should work.

Front camera is not working properly.

Hi! I've been having this issue for a while. I dont know if it's a software thing or hardware. My front camera has not been working for a few months now. I've tried multiple factory resets, reboots into safe mode, and clearing all the data and cache from the camera app. I am on Android 8.0.0. My warranty has also expired so I thought coming here would be my best bet.

It would be better if you could attach a screen shot so those who may be able to help can see what the issue may be

Apps like Playstore or MS Outlook keep stopping

I'm using LineageOS on my OnePlus 3T for about a month now and everything was fine until some days ago. I installed LineageOS alongside GApps pico back then.
If I try to view apps in the Playstore, the Playstore crashes. It crashes even if I remove its data and cache. The only way I can use it is to disable and enable it. Then I can view apps without any problem until I install one. After installing an app I can view apps until I hit the install button. Then it's back to its old behaviour and I have to disable and enable it again.
Outlook just crashes when I'm opening it and only uninstalling and reinstalling solves the problem. But after some time it keeps crashing.
I installed yesterday's update to see whether it fixes my problem but it doesn't.
I'm not sure what Finsky is but I think it has something to do with the Playstore and I found those errors in Catlog. I don't know its meaning though. Could somebody help me troubleshoot this issue?

Google Calendar and TianiumBackup now also crash when opening. I will have to restore a backup of OxygenOS but I don't really want to go back to it

"Camera failed" error on S20 plus when using Live Focus

Guys - I am using Samsung Galaxy S20 Plus 5g. When i try to take picture with 'Live Focus' mode it often gives "Camera failed" error and the camera app exits. Also, I have noticed it is mostly happening when there are low lights.
For a picture, when i was having this error with live focus mode, i tried again with flash on and it worked. I also tried taking live focus pictures in day light, it worked mostly. Also, Live Focus Video is working, it is recording video with live focus even in low lights.
What i have already tried.
1. Recently reset my phone to set up
2. Cleaned up cache and data for "Camera" app
3. Wiped cache partition from recovery mode after cleaning app data
4. Tried taking picture in Sade Mode
None of it worked. Looks like a software bug in Camera app while processing image. Anyone managed to solve this? Please let me know. Its terrible to have such problems in such an expensive phone.
Attaching some images for reference.

I dont have the issue...
try download samsung members app and submit a ticket. Samsung should know if theres a problem with hardware or software.

Whatsapp camera is somehow blocked after 11.0.0.2 HD65aa

Hi guys,
It started after upgarding to the version in subject.
Please see image.
Is it a known issue?
The regular camera app works fine.
I cleared all whatsapp data and cache and rebooted - but it didn't help.
Any advise would be blessed!
Thanks!

Permissions?
They are definitely ON.
Moreover, I tried to install another camera app: "Open Camera" and when I tried to use it I got "Camera may be in use by another application" error message.
Permission is gramted for this app as well.
Meaning: only the stock camera works, but no other camera depended app.

GCam works, Textra camera works, it's a WhatsApp issue.
Lots of OOS 11/Whatsapp compatibility issues in the OnePlus community forums.
Try a full uninstall/reinstall (clear cache & data, uninstall, reboot, reinstall latest version).
If that doesn't work open a bug report and start a thread with the community app
