Rooted - You must install Superuser. Do not renew busybox!
All the rest is left without changes.
thanks serves to A100?
Thank you for this. I am already rooted using your easy method, but I am sure this will be a lot of help to many others.

Thanks a lot for this, however, I'd rather try the actual leak file for now (not really bothered about my bootloader etc, which I unlocked but never got around to flashing a custom recovery).
I've found the original Russian forum, and the original leak file, but the instructions really aren't being translated very well by Google... There seem to be 4 update files in the archive, should they all be flashed, one after the other?
Path for the official A101 updating to ICS
Thanks to djinox of 4pda.ru. Original article is published on this site (russian).
Flashing through official recovery:
1. Download this archive. Unpack it. The archive contains 4 files numbered in the order of updating.
2. Rename update1.zip in update.zip and place it on the SD card. Flashing through official recovery.
3. To execute the 2nd point for update2.zip, update3.zip and update4.zip.
The firmware of ICS for A101 is received.
Thanks very much! And also thanks to djinox for the leak.
Wrong thread , sorry.
Can we please get something like this for the A100?
Hi I tried using the steps below to flash, no luck going to ICS.
Anything i might be doing wrong, i change each of the 4 files to update.zip and flashed it one by one, rebooting after each flash.

I had that initially. The actual ICS ROM is in update4.zip. You MUST do each one in turn. If you don't get the update, you did it wrong.
Thanks for the replies, I manage to get the update to ICS using CWM method, and almost bricking it, because I was on HC.
But all is good now. Thanks again
Any new ICS leaks
Hi, I am just curious if there will be any custom ICS roms for the A101 in the near future, or more leaks
Thank you

Hi, I've deodexed the /system partition to the most recent update (at the time of writing), 15.5.A.1.5, of the Sony Xperia M DUAL SIM.
The files have been taken from the C2004 ftf, but will work perfectly fine on the C2005 too. The deodexed files come in a neat .zip for if you have an unlocked bootloader, if you don't have an unlocked bootloader please refer to this guide on how to push the files to your device.
I have also modified the services.jar file to enable SUPERUSERMOD, just push the new file to your device and enjoy. You also need to be deodexed to use SUPERUSERMOD.
I will keep this thread updated if any new firmwares get released. Just check back after about a day and I should have them up for you.

1) This is not the thread for that discussion, however I cannot be bothered to send you to another thread.
2) You need an unlocked bootloader for CWM, you need a custom kernel.
3) Back up all your data using titanium backup, then move it all to your computer.
4) Unlock your bootloader, this will cause a bootloop so you WILL have to flash stock firmware with flashtool. DO NOT make any more threads complaining about what has happened and how to fix it, I have just told you and there are guides on here on how to flash stock firmware, use them.

If you're trying from your phone, try installing something like ROM toolbox (it includes an unzip tool). I'm suggesting this as back in the days of 2.3 I couldn't download zip files unless I had an unzip tool present on the phone.
If that doesn't work, try downloading from a computer.
Also, try multiple browsers. Especially if one browser doesn't work.
But as I have said and shown, it works perfectly fine for me.

service.jar goes into the framework folder. Paper13579 made a guide on how to move it manually, just skip the parts what tell you to download files in their guide.
Or if you have an unlocked bootloader and recovery, drop the service.jar file into the deodex zip in the framework folder.
And I don't think there is a sure fire way to see if it is enabled, apart from installing a modded system app.
please create mirror link for 15.5.A.1.5 services.jar . I cant download it, says network error.
Repacked Stock ROM for SWR50 Version LWX48P
I made a twrp flashable stock ROM ZIP of the LWX48P version firmware. You can download it at SWR50-LWX48P-repacked-signed.zip. Don't flash it with the stock recovery, it is for twrp. The ZIP contains the unmodified files, this means it is NOT rooted, busyboxed or something else. Use it to go back to stock, if you mess up with your system. You can also use the Sony PC Companion to go back to stock.
It includes also the u-boot/bootloader partition images like and from the OTA. If you don't want to reflash them, feel free to modify the zip.
Use it on your own risk.
If you need the stock recovery, too, then you can download a dump of it at SWR50-LWX48P-stock-recovery.img. Flash it with fastboot.
How did you make this? I want to do a repacked ROM with the new 5.1 update.

I just wanted to say thanks for this post. My sw3 was stuck on the 4 dot symbols in MM booting. I tried several different ROMs and XC would not work either. Your pack worked and allowed my watch to live again. Although it is LP, that is fine. At least I can now use it.
Does this version support updates?
Thank you for the post!
Do you know maybe why this version can't get updates correctly? Seems like I get an update or two and then it stuck. Can I fix it somehow?

Hi,
Just try to update from Android menu (Settings->About->System Updates). Sometimes it takes several hours or a day to get the update, but it should happen.
Pay attention to stop updating after LCA43 - the update to MEC24H didn't work and I had to flash again the LWX48P.
Hello all.
So, as a noob, I rooted my tab S successfully and was playing around with the TWRP recovery settings and accidentally deleted my OS. I was able to flash a stock version of Android but now it is stuck in a loop and I have no way of getting it past the loading screen. I am able to access the download mode but I can get no further than that. Is there anyway that you can help me with resetting my device? Could any of you also link me to a thread which can help me unroot my tab so that I can reroot it using CF auto root with TWRP recovery mode installed?
That would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.
My model number is: SM-T800NZWAXAR
Wipe Data then flash again, wait at least 10 mins for for first boot.
We flashed tamirda's phoenix rom. I can't even explain the whole process because my cousin helped us out with that, but thanks!!!

I'm afraid I didn't get an answer from you. I asked for a link but I didn't get one. But you also suggested that I flashed the rom from or custom recovery. Correct me if there is anything wrong in the process that me and my cousin discovered. I probably forgot to mention that I had a T-800 but anyways.
From a prior, we did an ADB sideload of TWRPrecovery. It tooks my cousin a while to find the stuff, but he was able to reinstall the device drivers and sideload it into the system memory. From there, he uploaded the rom installer, which was done through aroma, at that point. Then. we installed, Gapps and customized it to include the services that I want. The rom worked perfectly.
But I messed up when I flashed the OTA through ODIN rather than through twrp. It deleted the custom recovery and a popup saying that gapps could not be located was annoyingly in the way.
So at this point. We were able to root the tablet. then flash the custom recovery. First we loaded the recovery, the actual rom. then gapps, and finally the OTA from the tablet memory. In hindsight, we decided to do this after trying to install straight gapps from the OTA and gapps kept giving an error code 70. After loading everything onto the rom, it worked.
Now I do have a question about xposed. Would I have to flash that in recovery if I wanted to take access of its features? Is there a link on how to use it? Or does that depend on xposed and how well my rom could support it?
Well I won't suggest u to flash xposed since it can give u bootloop problems and I m sure u won't wanna take a risk. But if u really want it then tell me.
And for installing the zip first u will need a deodexed rom installed on ur device
tra_dax
Yeah. I found out the hard way that my device can easily get boot looped with too many modules. I do have a back up ready and a method for wiping and resetting the device.

I never thought i would be doing this, i have made my own custom rom, it is mostly stock but it is debloated and deodexed.
it is based off of an unlocked android 7.0 firmware. you have to be on build qe2 and you have to be rooted with flashfire installed
install rom
once the rom is downloaded open flashfire.
tap on the plus sign.
select zip or ota.
look for the rom zip in your downloads folder.
at the next screen, select mount r/w.
tap the plus sign again.
select flash firmware package.
select the engboot.tar file
leave everything checked and make sure inject root isnt selected and tap flash
follow the aroma installer.
you are done

Cool deal
UPDATE: I will be renaming this rom to EvolutionX. I'm still working on some things and after that I should have it out soon
I thought deodexing on Nougat wasn't possible? Or did I miss something in these past few months?

That might be the cause of my issues earlier I fixed them but it would be a lot easier to just not need to do a bunch of stuff

I never thought i would be doing this, i have made my own custom rom, it is mostly stock but it is debloated and deodexed.
it is based off of an unlocked android 7.0 firmware. you have to be on build qe2 and you have to be rooted with flashfire installed
install rom
once the rom is downloaded open flashfire.
tap on the plus sign.
select zip or ota.
look for the rom zip in your downloads folder.
at the next screen, select mount r/w.
tap the plus sign again.
select flash firmware package.
select the engboot.tar file
leave everything checked and make sure inject root isnt selected and tap flash
follow the aroma installer.
you are done
here is the download link
