Make sure your battery is over 50% before you do backup/flash/restore

you need to gain root access before you able to flash custom rom as rjeeva giving you the link to follow.

[Q] Difference and question about droid incredible

Hi everyone ,
I am a new user of android mobile .
I have bought htc s710d in china telecom , unfortunately it was in S-ON but with time and somebody help i have found unlock to S-OFF using XTC clip and put a custom rom call's quens .
firstly : i want to know the difference between s710d ,droid incredible , and incredible S because now , i dont know in which topic i am supposed to look if i need support , official an unofficial rom. My HTc is S710d .
Secondly : May i know where can i get an official rom? i means the one's which comes with my phone . Then the thread which talk about installation of official rom for my s710d .
Then finally the thread concerning custom rom which are available for s710d ,
Also need your opinion to know which one is the best for the improve the battery life .
Is there some custom rom whose come with chinese software especially customer service and uim card ?
Am still really trouble , please help me .

I believe the S710D is the Incredible 2 and the S710E is the Incredible S. It sounds as though anything that applies to the I2 should apply to you in the I2 forums.

So i have to check answer , and questions related to my phone in Incredible 2 forums. Isnt it? I have install a new custom rom without saving apk as customer service and uim for my mobile. I will like to restore and install in tje custom rom.if somebody knows where should have it please pm me. Thanks nimdae.

i flashed a 816d rom on my 816w and i need the the 816w backup to get system updates please help. can anyone give me one ?

bro i really need your help.. Please help me.. Pleassseeeee read
im using desire 816w.. Everything is fine but when i play clash of clan or any other online games my google+ account doesnt connect.. I dont think it can be fixed.. So can u teach me how to flash stock 816 rom? Or any other rom?? My bootloader is locked.. Im a very amateur user.. If u help me that would be so thankful..

3. Then enter the password - kroe
4. Hit the Small grey down arrow icon right below the orange button with the 740.38 mb mentioned in the next page.
5. It will start downloading then

what is this rom, is it all chinese

This file below is the Stock RUU only for the HTC Desire 816W / A5_DUG !

Download it and make a copy of it.
Now rename both copies.
-Name one 0P9CIMG.zip
-Name one 0PC9DIAG.zip
Not sure which name your device uses but its one of these so just test both starting with the first one or put two copies one of each on your device.
You'll know because when you put this on the phone and go back into the bootloader it will ask you to use Volume Key to confirm the update. (Check to make sure it says A5_dug at the top)
Do this and let it update & complete.
Once done you can start up and update if its available but I'm pretty sure this is the latest full stock update for your device.
If its in Chinese and you want it to be a different language simply skip past everything and go into settings.
Go to this icon -> [[[A] (Should be the 7th icon from the bottom.)
Now select the first option.
Choose your language.
Done!
(P.S. Now you can root if you'd like!)

If you are using Google Chrome, it should ask directly to translate it.

i didn't find HTC desire 816G

i couldn't find a partition for HTC 816G here in xda developers forum.
anyway i got my mom a new phone realized that HTC 816G is completely different from HTC 816.
it's my first time dealing with flashing/rooting HTC - used to samsung only - so any tips needed to know ? what apps should i use , customs .. etc.
if anyone can provide me with a tutorial for flashing.
can i flash cm12 of HTC 816 on the 816G or not ?
i have a problem with it , low memory and low storage - that's why i need to move apps2SD- needs rooting i guess.

I have also got HTC Desire 816G , for adding any custom roms u need to root it first.
Use iroot for pc to Root ur device.
Also note that cm12 is not available for htc 816g and do NOT use cm12 for HTC 816 .
Even I have problems with low internal memory so if anyone can us then it would be great .

about iroot , is it safe to use ?? i read many posts saying it's a spam.
anyway i need other rooting ways not just iroot please

No it's not a spam i have used it to root my 816G or u can use kingo root both were working fine.

tried to use iroot and kingo root but failed on HTC 816G and succeed on samsung s3 ! :/
