I downloaded and installed package disabler pro but it is version 7.0 I then uninstalled and downloaded and installed 6.3 but it won't activate. Ver 7 has the needed update packages hidden. How do I get ver 6.3 to be usable?

this has been discussed heavily ...you need to search is what you need to do for in depth information.
the short version is your SOL unless you had a paid license for the app prior to it updating to V7.

note 7 users are getting hammered hard so its probably best you start flashing a different rom, root it, and change the build.prop text file to make your note 7 look like an S7edge... stock note 7 unrooted might be more work than flashing a rom.
also maybe try to add more description to you post title

Anyone could give suggestion?
Can you be more specific on your problems? All the Google apps I've tried, including Google+, work just fine for me.

The Chinese stock ROM does NOT support apps that depend on google service. So google+, gmail, drive... all NOT available in that ROM.
You can flash a Taiwan version stock ROM or ROM for other countries. There are some known issues if you just flash the gapps to the Chinese stock ROM, eg, google map won't tell where you are...
Chinese Note 8
Hi,
I'm also stuck with the Mainland China Version of the Note 8, besides being not able to use google.play and other google stuff it seems to be a bit slow on lot of other things.
I tried to replace the chinese version with other ROM's , but sofar it alsways failed when it came to loading/writing modem.bin.
Luckily sofar I was able to recover the unit via Kies.
What I did :
1.download of another stock rom i.e. german
2. install Odin 3 , run it as admin
3. connect the Note to an Windows 7 pc , USB driver works
4. follow the various instructions found here
5. also tried the Note 8 toolkit
6. everything looks fine until it reaches the modem.bin file.
7. failed .....
Also tried it with rooting the Note 8 first via the toolkit
For good order sake pls note the following : Model Number GT-N5100
Android Version 4.1.2
Baseband Version N5100ZCBMD2
Kernel Version 3.0.31-1087838
Build Number JZO54K.N5100ZCBMD2
Any suggestion what else to do ? Or which Rom to use ?
Tks

You can try this one. Simply copy it to internal SD and flash it with CWM recovery.
I'm not the owner of this ROM. I think it is based on the rooted ROM published here earlier.
OH... I'm too new to publish a outside link... try use baidu.com and search for " 新欧版rom(奥地利 3 Hutchison通讯)汉化修改版发布!!!" ... Hope this helps...
it works
Hi,
thanks for that tipp. Finally I made it work
Internet access
Hi,
that was a bit premature : the statement it works. Basically it does, however I can't get any data transmission work when not connected to wifi.
Using the phone as a phone is ok, Internet access does not, it says "No network connection available"
With WiFi no problem
Has this something to do with the non chinese Firmware ? Which I would find a bit odd since I never had any problem with importet phones in china sofar.
Anybody has a clue ?
Tks
Henning

Google+ works fine for me as well..
Just an FYI to any other 1Weather app 5X/6P users, since I'm a fan of the app. Here is a problem I found and a fix.
The app was fine on my Galaxy S4 (L) and my Nexus 9 (M) and both recognized the fact that I had installed and purchased it a few months ago. A new install just now on the 5X, of their latest 3.3.4 version, basically does not work well at all. I did an uninstall of it on the Nexus 9 and a reinstall there also didn't work right.
So, since it installed fine a while back, I found an old 3.2.1 version apk online and installed that. It works fine now, and I would think it still will whenever the OS gets around to updating it to that new 3.3.4 version. I suspect that since the 3.3.4 ver was running fine when it was applied on top of a prior running copy.
Here is the link to the old version.
[The 1Weather dev team got back to me and confirmed the problem. They are thinking it's changes in the M Pay system causing the problem. They confirmed my 'use an old ver' procedure is fine.]
The problem is supposedly fixed now with the 3.3.5 version, no need to worry about a clean install of the Play Store version.
I got it to install and run, but the 1x1 widget crashes. Unless they fix that I'm going to find another weather app.
Hey smart ppl,
have done my due diligence on the forums here, including the how tos and the stickies.
my basic question still remains though.
will uploading a custom ROM (considerations appreciated) on an unlocked device cause any issues with a device carrying the N910AUCU1COC4 baseband?
Im just trying to get rid of all the bloatware thats causing it to slow down and heat up etc.
Appreciate the help.
The AT&T SM-N910A has a locked bootloader, so you can not install custom roms. Only official AT&T roms can be installed.
If you want to get rid of bloat, search for the Debloater thread here on xda, or use an app like Package Disabler Pro, or BK Package Disabler, which are available in the Play store.

Would you suggest upgrading to a newer version of android to see if I can get better functionality out of the phone?
It seems as if the hardware isn't up to par with the software at this point.

Yes. COC4 is Android 5.0.1. I would recommend updating to either 5.1.1 or 6.0.1. I'm not aware of any reasons not to update to the latest.
You can find the latest 6.0.1 release EQF1 in this thread.

Hi has any of you installed Adhell 3 ? As i installed it last night on Galaxy S8 it went fine. But when it's Tab S4 turn i keep getting a parser error ? No matter what length package name i use it will not install via APK Editor Pro ?
Same for me. I thzink it is due to a newer KNOW Version - same as Note 9.

i tried so many times i gave up. So i ended up the root way! it's all awesome with AdAway!
Have you tried using the latest adhell from gitlab? Latest version 3.1.1.236 works perfectly fine both on my s8+ and tab s4.
I'm trying to install the Global ROM V425 using the official method given on Nubia's website, but it's not working. If anyone can help me solve the problem, I'll be so grateful!
I downloaded V425 from the official download page and copied the NX669J-update.zip file to the root directory of the phone, then tried to do the update as follows:
Settings >> System Update >> ... >> Local update >> select the file >> Only install
After about 10 seconds, I got this error:
Upgrade package and the current phone version does not match, can not be updated, please check the current version is obtained from the official channel
I'm not sure what to do now, and having seen that error message I'm now afraid that if I try any other method for the update I might brick the phone, since I've already been warned that the software is not compatible.
The current software version is NX669J_CNCommon_V7.14 and when I checked for updates I got a message telling me the current version is the latest.
Phone info...
Model: NX669J-P
Red Magic OS: V4.5
Build number: NX669J_CNCommon_V7.14
Android version: 11
Hardware version: NX669J_V1AMB
Thanks for reading and I hope you can help!

UPDATE: I noticed that in the About Phone section the device name is "腾讯红魔游戏手机6Pro" which translates to "Tencent Red Magic Game Phone 6Pro".
Seems it might be the Tencent version of the phone. Could this be the reason I'm getting the error message? Is it possible to put the Global ROM on the Tencent version?
Hi,
I am originally using global version with the latest updated v4.25 rom since September and i think you are using the tencent set with CN rom installed on your device. Why would you change to global? Is it cooler with CN rom? I bet you will regret you will lose so many features that you can get on CN if you are migrating to the Global rom.
The main reason is that the phone's current ROM doesn't have Google apps/services
Is it possible to sideload Google apps onto this device with current ROM or the only way is to flash global ROM?

If i am not mistaken, you can download the PlayStore from apkpure website - https://m.apkpure.com/google-play-store/com.android.vending and start to use Google application afterwards once successfully installed on the CN rom device you are using.
Thanks a lot - maybe I have been overcomplicating this issue! Will check and see if j can get it installed

That's fine. But some Google apps will not working at all eg like Gmail or Google Duo (i am not very sure exactly) because it still recognise your device status. You may check one by one any Google apps downloaded from the PlayStore later
