LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. You will need to provide your own Google Applications package (gapps). LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

Information:
Finally! This is the official builds of LineageOS 14.1 for Z00D.
Known issues:
FM Radio is unsupported.
Like on the most devices with LineageOS 14.1, some video formats do not play so good.
In nature, there are no official Android Nougat builds for 32-bit Intel devices, so we cannot update some non device-specific blobs (like Houdini and wvm) to latest versions and there may be problems with some apps (e.g. 2GIS and UC Browser).
Bug reporting:
Before the report make sure that your device was properly updated to the latest stock base (modem firmware is mostly important) and you've installed the latest build of the ROM.
Explain the bug in details and, if possible, methods to reproduce it.
For most issues, you should attach the logcat. It you have problems with the network/RIL, attach the radio logcat too (logcat -b radio).
Random reboots? Please upload all ramoops files from /sys/fs/pstore immediately after the kernel crash.

tried everything still force closing....
Still crashes
Google services work with micro gapps. Smart lock settings crashes as well
Smart Lock is mostly CyanogenMod bug. Also i do not recommend to use gapps bigger than micro.
Oh, no. Sorry, that was bug with keystore. Fixed now, just wait for new build.
Thanks for the work. And is there anything I can do with SuperSU? When I update SU binary, it says that it went well, but then phone goes into bootloop.

oh my god! thank you you guys so much
Oh my god!!!!!!
Beyond belief!!!I used to be so depressed because i heard several people said Z00D processor was too old and low performance!
And 5.1.1 is the lastest firmware for it
Therefore i always hope for some devs will take notice and compile somethings for Z00d
I can't even imagine we have Cm13.1 for Z00D
But now we even have cm 14.1
Ohhhhj i can't believe
How can i express my feeling now !
Shocked,Surprised,Happy,etc

Reporting bugs
DO NOT report bugs if you're running a custom kernel
DO NOT report bugs if you've modifies system files
DO NOT report bugs if you've installed xposed and/or other mods
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues or bugs reported in the lastest 5 pages of this thread. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

F.A.Q.
ROOT! ROOT! Give me root or i'll die!!! Where root is???
First of all DO NOT flash any SuperSu/SuperUser/SuperMan zip package to get root. Go to Settings>Developement Settings>Root access and select "Apps Only"
Why no nightly today?
Build failed. Check again tomorrow
When do I have to wipe data?
You must wipe data only when you're switching from another rom or migrating to Snapshot branch from Nightly and vice versa. You don't need to wipe data when you update in the same release channe (this applies to 13.0 -> 14.1 upgrades too)
Will you add <insert awesome feature here>?
I won't. If you write it, submit a commit to gerrit, where it will be reviewed.
The CyanogenMod team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

Yay! Its official,thanks.
Awesome. Now we should see our beloved ROMs starting to roll in.
I'm surprised to see an official CM Nougat for bacon. Thank you for your efforts! This definitely will extend the OPO's effective lifespan to three years!
Amazing. Opengapps 7.1 mentions a patch should be applied on the ROM, is this part of cm14. 1 already?
Finally!
Anyone tested SuHide with this? Thanks for official cm!
Tried it out yesterday. Had 2 issues
1. Got an "CM Bug Report" error everytime I would reboot phone (not a biggie).
2. Android Pay didn't work (deal breaker).
Back on Sultan CM13. Hopefully the above gets fixed soon or once stable version is released. Everything else seemed to work without a problem.
Glad to hear it. Thanks! Downloading right away.

No, Cyanogen Inc. is done supporting the OPO. They are not obligated to make COS14.1 nor will they. They are not like the selfless community devs; they're in it for profit and there's no profit to be made making COS14.1 Bacon.

Try Oxygen OS camera port of OnePlus 2/3 . It worked with many other ROMs.

GPL compliance:
Device tree source code: LineageOS/android_device_xiaomi_gemini
Kernel source code: LineageOS/android_kernel_xiaomi_msm8996
Broken:
Nothing.
Working:
Everything except 'broken' stuff
(see also second post for info on recurring questions)
Compatibility:
Compatible with all Xiaomi Mi 5 variants (32GB / 64GB / 128GB). Xiaomi Mi 5S and 5S Plus are not supported.
Builds are based off the Xiaomi's Android 7.0 firmware with proprietary blobs from MIUI 8.1.4 dev package.
Downloads:
Official download links
Notice:
No custom kernels are supported in this thread. Only stock kernel and official builds will be supported. No bug reports if that's not the case.
Installation:
Reboot to recovery (TWRP recovery for Mi 5 - Direct link)
Format /system, /data and /cache
Install LineageOS zip package
Install [optional] the LineageOS su addon to get root (there are obviously other root methods, but this is the recommended one as it survives to OTA updates)
Install [optional] a Google Apps package of your choice (Open GApps is advisable, but stock and super variants are not recommended!!!)
Important notes:
Current minimal * required * firmware version is MIUI 8.1.4 Global dev, otherwise installation will fail. Download the latest dev fastboot package directly from Xiaomi and flash it prior to installing LineageOS or, alternatively, download and install one of the latest custom packages containing firmware only (at your own risk).
GApps can only be flashed on clean installs.
Formatting data (all user data is wiped, including internal storage) is a must if MIUI was previously installed and device was encrypted.
Credits & collaborations:
This work is due to efforts from Mi5Devs founding members (@h2o64 and me) that did the full device bring-up. Huge thanks to @deovferreira for all the help during the kernel bring-up after source code dropped. Also thanks to @ValoXis for giving me the motivation I needed and to @shade.sh for compiling unofficial builds during the transition phase.
Finally, all LineageOS team would like to thank everyone involved in helping with testing, coding, debugging & documenting! Enjoy!

Some notes due to recurring questions:
Camera OIS can be recalibrated, if needed, with the following app: https://github.com/dobragab/Mi5CameraCalibrate.
Devices assembled with LGD panels may have less responsive hardware keys (recents and back) due to old touchscreen drivers released by Xiaomi. The workaround at the moment is to enable on-screen buttons and wait for more updated drivers in the next kernel source code release.
QC3.0 is not fully working and will be fixed when the next kernel source code drops.
So soon we have got cm13 official and cm14 almost stable...
thanks bgcngm and Mi5Devs team...
There we go. Too late? Could be, but we got there, in the best way we could. Mi5Devs always leading.
nice to see cm 14 for mi5 well be getting my phone soon ....thanks for ur hard work
One important note again: this is the one and only official support thread for CM-14.1 development.
Nice . At last mi5 got CM14.1 .
Btw how about CM13 ?
Is it still got updated when this CM14.1 become Official ?
Once Mi 5 moves to CM-14.1 official nightlies, CM-13.0 nigthlies will stop. That's what happens with all CM official devices.
Downloading and creating backups. As soon as i flash it, ill edit. Thanks for your work.
First of all a huge thanks to @bgcngm and mi5 devs for bringing cm-14.1 to mi5 and secondly about the camera broken stuff, are we using hal1 or hal3 camera, because when i checked the git for oneplus 3 they too had problems with hal3, hence they shifted back to hal1.

Camera is working apparently, but with 3rd party apps. It's just Snap that is force closing, but should be fixed in CM sources soon enough.
Just a warning, only video recording is not working.

Are you officially the new maintainer for LineageOS for OnePlus 2?
Does this mean we finally get to see improvements in the LOS builds, seeing as to how Grarak has been fairly inactive for the last few months?
i can merge patches so yes i'm a new maintainer for oneplus2. and yes you will see improvements for oneplus2 soon. i already have tons of changes in my local sources i wsant to merge step by step into official source. i haven't seen garak for a long time. i just noticed he merges some caf changes into the kernel two weeks ago. but that's all....

Alright! Thanks a ton, and congrats.
Are you using lineage official for oneplus2?
What's the difference between Seraph08 builds and this one?
well seraph's builds are based on lineage. he uses the lineage's sources and picked some additional changes to the kernel and device tree. for example he picked some changes from boeffla to the kernel. in my mind the difference is not as big. but i had no time to test his builds so everybody should test himself.
in general offical builds and lineage claims security and stabilty first. so some things need more time to get merged or deeper testing....

I am, yes. Why do you ask?
just wanted to know. i'm new with maintaining oneplus2 and want to know how many people use official and unofficial builds...
if you want you can test my experimental build. all the patches included in this build i will merge before next nightly.
Pls fix the dt2w .... it enables itself after rebooting the phone
How is disabling the SIM card option added in this ROM? Most LineageOS ROMs on other devices don't have this.
https://imgur.com/Yd8AMG9
What is dt2w? I already noticed there is anything preventing deep sleep...
I can have a look for sim card option later but normally it is something in settings and cm parts...

Double tap to wake (dt2w)
When you disable dt2w, it gets enabled after reboot
This issue has been present for a long time..
It would be great if you can fix this issue

Alright, but I have my exams until 12th June, and I'll actively check this out once they end.
Ah i read avout the dt2w bug bit i've naver had it. The slider is always off for me.
Can you please turn the slider in and three or four times and capture a catlog right after. And i think the Option is is twice in settings below gestures and display. So please test both sliders.

The slider remains off but dt2w keeps working..
Steps to replicate
Settings-display- turn off tap to wake option
Reboot
After reboot, lock the phone and then double tap the screen
The phone will wake up.
Will try to collect log, when I get back on lineage.
Currently on different rom

Okay, have try
I'm stuck in boot for like an hour. I don't think that's normal?
Edit: Am I missing something? This is the first time I'm upgrading to 7.1 from 6.0 and no matter what ROM I try I get stuck at boot.

I haven't used stock in years now so I don't remember the last firmware I was on. I've been on CM13 for the last 7 months or so and then I flashed your ROM and then flashed opengapps after. I also tried booting without flashing gapps but I still get stuck on boot. The problem also occurred when I tried flashing AOSP 7.1

trying to re-flash your stock firmware based on your device model, and try to flash it with latest firmware with full wipe. I don't know too why, if you're only flash rom and stuck on boot. You're not flash any custom kernel right?
but i'm not sure that from firmware, since you can install lollipop and marshmallow without any error. Have you try to flash any Pure AOSP or AOSP CAF for nougat on your device?
And try to not include supersu as flashing step, try only flash ROM only.

Request for a rom
@Nicklas Van Dam
great work here .Slim roms are great and are low on resource utilization . :good:
Can i request you a few things?
1)Ambient display-I guess i could be added to device tree so that it could work (you did it before with mods )
2)puse hand wave features(the one in which notifications are shown is ambient display mode when phone is removed from the pocket or hand is waved over the proximity sensor - again releated to ambient display and proximity sensor
3)Can you also build Aospa (paranoid rom) - its also based on aosp (so lighter ) and has few additional features too (though most of them are still private for now)
Thanks a lot
Btw if you need a tester my xperia m dual is now my secondary device so as long as something does not hardbrick it ,i can test pretty much everything

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 9.0.x (Pie), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.
LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.
All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.
What's special about my build:
Sometimes I pick a few patches from the Lineage Gerrit before they are approved and merged into our trees.
The device trees will also be improved overtime with various improvements from mixed sources (for example better presets, different HAL solutions and so on).
Added Touchscreen gestures (Something similar like Zenmotions )
Added statusbar battery styles
Added Expanded volume pannel
Added SIM Enable/Disable switch
What's working:
Boots
RIL (Calls, SMS, Data)
Wi-Fi
Bluetooth
Camera
Video Playback
Audio (Record and Playback)
Fingerprint
Sensors
Flash
Notification LED
Enforced
What's not working:

Instructions:

If not then download & flash latest pie stable firmware first from here PIE_20190401_firmware.zip ( Thanks to @Subinsmani )
Installation:
Download & Place ROM & Gapps in your internal storage/virtual SD
Boot into TWRP
Wipe System, Data, Dalvik, Cache.
Flash the latest Firmware if you were not in it yet.
Flash the ROM and GApps.
Reboot and Enjoy.
Downloads:
ROM - AFH Folder
Gapps - https://opengapps.org/ (ARM64 9.0 Nano Recommended)
Reporting bugs:
Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred (please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing).
If it is a random reboot, grab /proc/last_kmsg (do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot, a logcat after a reboot is useless).
If the problem disappears after running "setenforce 0" from a root shell, grab /data/misc/audit/audit.log (only applies to SELinux enforcing builds).
Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues.

How it is compared to other heavily loaded custom roms?
Is OTG working? How's the sound output via headphones and speakers?
And any other you want to mention?
Thanks.

I personally dont like bloated rom so im not try it, but compared to Official Oreo this seems to have same stability level. Sound with speaker is good, with headphone is acceptable but not great. Sadly i dont have any OTG to test. And google camera (GCam_6.2.024_N7P_test1.1) working greats! Photo sample from google camera & Battery performance attached below.
There's no update since last week, as there's no source or device changes..
Next update will be probably after any source / device side changes.
This Rom is enforcing or permissive?
