HTC One X Camera Not Opening

Dear All,
Please help me. I have changed my htc one x screen as its sensor was damaged and not working. After changing the screen everything works fine like new but suddenly my camera having problem. Sometime its not opening when i push to open it its not opening and i remain on same screen. When i perform hard reset or factory reatore its start working fine. But after one/ two days having same problem. I went to repair shop and he suggested me to flash siftware. I done it and its workung for 2 days but still same prob!! I m very disoppointed because i got it very expensive to spent my money and bear screen charges as well. Can anyone give me solution? Its hardware or software? Should i root this phone? In my thinking it should be software problem bcoz if it would have been hardware it never open. Waiting

Hardware I think ...but try to format the sdcard....

But i installed camera application from market and it is running ok without any problem.. only original camera app is not opening!! But when i format its run.. had flash the phone software its run for 2 day then same prob!! What should i do?

unlock bootloader, flash custom recovery and flash another rom

Have you tried clearing the Camera App's data ?

yes i have tried to clear the data but no work...

as quoted by One X Master and thanks for him for reply i have to try unlock bootloader... also pls advice if i upgrade it to unofficially 4.1 jelly bean may it will work?

4.1 is old we have already official 4.2.2 and cm and aosp based on 4.3.1 ...just take one there are also enough guides how to flash a custom ROM :b

4.2.2 is officially for HTC One X At&T?? are you sure if i upgrade, it may help?
also can you please send me a easy and full link how to update it myself as there is no auto update from phone when i try via wifi. i will appreciate your quick response. thanks

If you have HTC one Xl not the international one go to the xl forum ...maybe they can help you there better...because at&t one is with snapdragon/dual core CPU not like ours with tetra/quad core

Mine is HTC One X from at&t 16GB, snapdragon / dual core...
I just need to ask may i upgrade an officially 4.2.2 or 4.1? does it solve my problem? as i think camera driver is not properly installed and if i upgrade, it will install new files.. what you suggest?

ok thanks alot... i am going to update but not say its hardware because i downloaded Camera ICS from Google Play and it is running fine without any problem... just original camera is not opening... well thanks for your advice

I went to local software specialist here in local market... i asked him to update my phone to 4.2.2 JB.. but he deny my request and said it will be risk, give me dead warranty so i can do it otherwise its risk and if it would done, your phone will be slow and there will be lots of problems!!! now what can i do...... can you pls guide me how i update it myself? how i root, unlock bootloader, or update my phone.. what files i need for this... waiting..

If you are on full stock, go settings>about phone>software updates and go check now.
Your phone will download update and install it that's it

No sir... i already done it... there is no software update showing.. after search, it showing system update not found...!! else i could have been done it .. while 4.2.2 is officially announced for One X at&t...! any suggestion?? :S

Well since you have at&t version post your question here > http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-x-att/help
That's forum for your phone, and they will give you some ruu to update to 4.2.2
And guy in service center lied you, because 90% of people will say you that phone work amazing after update. Other 10% just don't like sense 5

Wifi not working at all

Hello
I get my P6 ~5 months ago.
Wifi always worked normally but since a couple of weeks I can't get Wifi to work..
Can't detect any SSID, can't create any hotspot (also tried with Playstore app)
I have been on stock firmware B111 for months without problems, why did it happens ?
Should I flash a new rom ?
There's a rom I want to try ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2570602 ) but wtf with bricked devices ?
What should I do ? I wan't to be able to create hotspot

First i would update to an original rom, maybe the latest 125, the wifi seems here to be better!

HTC 820ts STOCK ROM !!

Bought this in india recently ... Rooted it and installed custom rom ... Custom rom made it slow ... Need Stock rom back for the device ... cant find it anywhere else.. please need help urgent ........:crying::crying::crying:

I bought it near about 6 months ago.....it was fine untill when I want to update it from settings.....after complettig 90% it was failed..then
phone started to reboot automaticly...I had nothing to do.. it was sttopped after ending of 85charge back up...I brought it to service care and they solve it.. but still then no google service is allowed in my phone...camera is blurred,, app market,,android patch,,,measures like maleware software is destroying my phone....what can I do??have they install custom rom??how can I solve this??I want my old htc back..not this rubbishh

Follow the guide carefully. Make sure you choose firmware upgrade not download only in sp flash tool and at least 80% batt charge.

Facebook video problem

Hello!
I have this wierd problem with my facebook app that it only plays videos whilst connected to a wifi network.
Connected to 4g/3g it stays buffering and nothing happens. Settings in facebook are ok and the phone have been
full wiped numerous times, (old time flashaholic).
Also, this problem only occurs when i´m using the cm13 rom, no problem whatsoever on stock firmware.
Phone i´m using is an LG G4 (H815).
Anyone got any suggestions?

It could be, problem only with cm basen roms , sure. But if it was the case it then shouldnt more ppl been reported this? At least in the cm thread for the g4 ive seen nothing nor while googling for the issue..
Also tried yesterday with ressurection-remix rom, same issue...

true. but if it works on stock but not on cm or aosp then it means its rom related or try another version maybe old version..

True, but it has never worked on my phone since the relase of cm13, been on and off since it came. I wouldnt doubt that it would be rom related IF i could find someone else with the same issue, but I cant.. :/

you can try to get a log and send it to cm or the guys that develop the rom. you are on.

Network Problem in MIUI 9

There were no issues in miui 8. Yesterday I got update 9.2 and after installation I faced a weird issue.
I am using dual SIM. OS shows both sim detected but no signal then single sim detected no signal and sometimes no sim detected. And continuously changing status of sim detection.
When I saw Phone information cellular power was turning on and off and asu value switching to 99.
Access Point network was giving could not find apn error. Preferred network was disabled most of the time. And you have to be lucky to change its value from prefer LTE to prefer 3G. And everything starts working. Switch back to LTE and you have no network again.
Resetting phone doesn't change anything. I insatlled latest developer rom 8.1.25 and issue was still there. Switching back to 8.5.4 solves the problem. I want to use MIUI 9. Is there any solution? Searching on xda I learned that some people faced similar problem on LOS

If you even have it on latest nightly, then no there is no solution yet.

Thanks for the response. xda used to be very active forum. I thought someone using LineageOs on xiaomi would suggest some solution. But it seems mi5s has very few users.

Don't forget that the Mi5s was not sold internationally, only in a few selected markets (China, I think India and a few other Asian ones). Those users are typically not very active on XDA for language reasons.

I'm having the same problem, when I tryed to downgrade to the last MIUI 8 stable, the problem was not solved. I rooted the phone and I've using LTE Discovery and I saw that this is an eCSFB issue, the phone try to connect at 4G network but can't register and I don't know what to do.

I tried 9.1.1.0 stable rom and issue was resolved. Then I got update of 9.2.1.0 stable after a few days and I thought it's not beta anymore and maybe they have resolved the bug so I updated and problem was back.
I searched on internet and tried this solution.
Download fastboot rom (I downloaded 8.5.3.0 for mi5s), extract its contents and find NON-HLOS.bin
Fastboot this file by command:
fastboot flash modem NON-HLOS.bin
Issue is resolved by this and I am able to use 4g again on latest rom
Update: Just when I thought issue is resolved, flashing this file got me into other issues. I can use 4g without any problem but Now there is no audio in YouTube videos in Youtube app but If I use chrome to watch videos there is no problem with audio. Similarly there is no audio when watching videos via MI Video. So I had to go back to v9.1.1.0

I tryed to flash NON-HLOS.bin file but I still can't connect to LTE network...

You are not able to use 4g even after downgrade, so, I am afraid that you are facing a different problem.
Are you able to use 3g/2g?

Yes, I'm able to use 2G/3G. Looks like a another problem different from yours.

Call your operator. Maybe they need to enable something in your configuration on their site, this is sometimes needed with rare phones.
