••|new s5 launcher for cyanogenmod 11|••

This is my work for cyanogenmod and all other AOSP roms ..
-FOR JELLYBEAN USERS:
1.Download the s5 launcher mod V1
2.Flash it
3.Copy SecLauncher2 fix in attachments to /system/app and set permissions to 777 or rwx-rwx-rwx
4.Reboot
5.Enjoy
-FOR KITKAT USERS
1.download S5_Launcher_Mod_v2.zip
2.flash through recovery
3.Enjoy

EDIT: I attached a sec launcher 2 fix.apk replace the one in /system/app/ and enjoy (NO NEED ON V2)

Yep.. working now

' screenshots ?

Don't work. installation take only 1 or 2 seconds in CWM recovery. After reboot, nothing no launcher.

If isn't working try to copy the Giles directly to system..(what is the ROM you are using?)

CyanogenMod 11

Try to copy folders directly ,then set permissions..
Forma the SecLauncer2 its rwx-rwx-rwx or 777

Now it working but it wasn't easy to make it to work

This is from Sling 2.2.2, based on F180 stock. Not 100% sure, but I assume the app is the same as on the E975. It's NOT a flashable zip -- just unzip it and copy the files over (apk and odex).

Download Zip and extract it to your desktop or anywhere u want.
1-copy the content of lib folder and paste it to system/lib.
2-copy the content of lib/hw and paste to system/lib/hw. and reboot ur phone.

It's not working. I've followed the steps exactly. After rebooting, I get error message saying that systemui has stopped working. If I press ok, it will appear again and again. I then have to reboot into recovery and fix permissions to get rid of the error message but even then the sensor does not work.
This is too much hassle I feel and think I should revert back to Nokia's stock OS and get launchers to get feel of stock android by rooting it. This way I have access to google features as well as stock feeling of android. This way all features will work including camera.
Anyone knows how to restore to the stock Nokia? I did not take any backup when installing CM11.

i have slow internet so cant upload whole zip of cm11. btw if u want to go back to stock use nokia care suite...

do one thing...
1-extract ur cm11 zip.
2-download lib.zip from attachment extract it and paste lib folder to extracted cm11.
3-now rezip ur cm11 folder.
4- now flash ur rezipped cm11 and wipe data cache and dalvik.
must give feedback..

Moto X Bootanimation for Moto Z

The original boot animation which came up with Google's Moto X in 2013. I've resized it to QHD and it's working fine on my Moto Z.
Instructions:
Just flash it with twrp.

Haven't tried it on that ROM but it should work. Have you tried doing it manually with root explorer?

replace the original one with this one and rename it to bootanimation.zip and change the permission to rw-r-r reboot.

That's what I was thinking.. the custom ROM I tried from the forum had no bootanimation.

You can try editing the build prop.file
Goto root explorer /system mount folder in R/W and open build.prop file text editor. Scroll down to the bottom and see if there's some code like this "debud.sf.nobootanimation=1" delete this last line, save and reboot.
Let me know if this works.

In display setting if I press the color mode it says colormanager is unbelievable, if you don't mind can pull the apk from your system. I guess he removed that as well.

Sorry for asking plain simply: What do you mean with "replace"? The apk seems corrupt when trying to install normally, the only other option would be to replace an already installed pixel launcher with the one provided. (in this case root would be required)

Look you can install as normal APK, but if you have pre install the pixel launcher you need root and a root explorer for replace the app!
