I got my unlock code from AT&T, but they told me I must enter a non-ATT SIM to enter the code.
In searching the forum, the CDMA Rhodium apparently has a security menu under Settings-> Personal where you can enter it. That icon doesn't seem to exist on the Tilt 2.
Anyone know where to enter the pin?
You need to insert a non ATT sim card - start up your phone - a screen will pop up asking you to enter the unlock code - after you enter it, hit "ok".
That is all you need do.
Hi guys,
A while back I tried to enter a sim unlock code with my T-Mobile sim card and this did not work. Now when I insert the SIM I just get an error MM#6 Not allowed. Is there any way I can get the screen/prompt to enter the SIM unlock again? I have tried a bunch of the *# numbers online but I have been unsuccessful in getting this screen to be displayed so I can enter a new SIM Unlock code. Thanks!

Not that it would really matter, but the guys in the AT&T forum may be more able to assist in this since your device is the AT&T device. Also, what ROM are you using when you try to enter the code? I do believe you have to be on a TouchWiz (custom or stock) not AOSP to enter that menu.

Try this, I am not sure that it will work but it will take you to the screen for network unlock
.Goto phone dailer, and enter *#27663368378# for the debug service menu.
In "ServiceMode", select [1] UMTS
In "UMTS MAIN MENU", select [1] DEBUG SCREEN
In "DEBUG SCREEN", select [6] PHONE CONTROL
In "PHONE CONTROL", select [6] NETWORK LOCK
Good luck!
I've been testing this phone for a while and it seems like a lot of the menus have been disabled. I'm creating a list of what works and what doesn't in these next few posts.
Note: I do not provide any support with the use of these codes. The thread is for documentation purposes.
What works:
5689#*993# (HiddenMenu) - Device Testing Menu
##27263# (##BRAND#) - Removes any carrier branding and redetects the carrier based on (NV registry/RUIM/SIM?).
Note: Useful if flashing to Boost Mobile or similar carrier.
##72786# (##?????#) - Resets provisioning and makes phone reactivate.
Useful if you are having network issues. Sprint recommends this if you ever change your services or phone number.
##72786# (##UPDATE#) - Updates cellular data profile and configures service. Also causes a firmware update check.
##786# (##RTN#) - Factory reset. Erases everything!!! RTN is short for return?
##3424# (##DIAG#) - Pulls up DIAG menu with option to enable or disable.
Selecting "Enable" allows Qualcomm Mode when the phone is set to "Charging mode" while ADB debugging is disabled.
##3282# (##DATA#) - Pulls up cellular data settings menu. You can view settings by choosing options and this also lets you adjust PRL settings with your MSL code.
##33284# (##DEBUG#) - Pulls up reception statistics, connectivity, and misc device information.
##564# (##LOG#) - System Error Log. Have options to clear or copy to storage. Viewing it will show Last kmsg, crash log, or ANR log.

Here is an updated list of what works.
What works:
##27263# Removes any branding (sprint) and resets phone to update branding. (useful if flashing to boost or other carrier) (##BRAND#) Reboots phone.
##72786# Resets provisioning and makes phone reactivate. Useful if you are having network issues. Sprint recommends this if you ever change your services or phone number. Reboots phone.
##873283# Updates data profile and configures service - Causes a firmware update check (##UPDATE#) Reboots phone.
##786# Factory reset. Erases everything!!! (##RTN#) Reboots phone.
##3424# Allows Qualcomm Mode while in Charging mode when ADB is disabled. (##DIAG#)
##3282# Data menu allows you to view and edit your provisioning setting if you have your MSL code (##DATA#)
##33284# Network debugging menu. Gives information about network status. ##DEBUG#

There is a typo in the op. ##27269# (##BRAND#) should be ##27263# (##BRAND#)

##72786# stands for ##SCRTN# which my best guess is sprint carrier return. or in other words carrier settings reset.
Now i got a sim crad invalid, cofiguration cellphone stuck (I can avoid pressa all buttons) and a message "power off device and inster the sim card that came with you phone, then restart"... and that is a problem, I'm not in USA ._.

Try taking out the sim card and booting up. Then reinsert the sim card and reboot.
5689#*993# - works for hidden menu
from this post: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2523252

Did you solved it? same problem here!
If you have invalid sim on another carrier, try inserting the sprint sim and going to system update menu, then hit unlock uicc and it will reboot, then again go to system update and hit update profile then update prl. Then power off and insert the other sim and it should recognize it. Tell me if it works.

You have to get the UICC Profile Update from Sprint.... Call the International Team or chat with them online and ask to be UICC unlock, if asked why, you're about to travel abroad... This UICC Update might affect the Domestic Unlock. At one point my device was domestically unlock, but now it isn't. (Maybe because I did a hard reset.) **Never Reset After Unlock, I learned the hard way lol
Shortcut master lite works i had the same problem

Thanks I got it unlocked finally again from sprint...
Other sims are working fine..
When I insert ATT sim card then if network mode is automatic then it shows 3G always and speed is too low tested with speedtest. If I change network mode to LTE-CDMA option then speed test is 4-5mbps but then calling does not work.. When i dial any no with LTE-CDMA mode then it says sim is not valid or there is no sim.
Will ATT not work fully with LTE on automatic mode on sprint LG G6?
Please help.
Thanks in advance.
ive tried many ways ive read on these forums to make it to hwere i canuse att data on this 526 prepaid, but nothing has worked. please help me. non rooted but soon will have the right sd card to pull off the amazing phish sd trick.i got to the point where it asks me to enter format:mccmnc but it only allows numbers to be input.. i thought that is where i enter the att web address, but i was wrong about that one..any help would be much apprecited.
thanks
All you have to do is:
-power off device
-insert GSM compatible SIM
-power on device
-navigate to Settings->Mobile Data->GSM/UMTS Options->Access Point Names
-in the 3 dot context menu at the top right of the APNs settings screen, you should have the option to create a new APN
Worked on mine without root. I'm rooted, now; still works.
Hey all! I have an almost brand-new LG Rebel 4, LML212VL. It has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 (MSM8917) SoC. I'm looking to root it. I don't have any other device that I can use, only the phone. Any help is appreciated. I've looked at this thread, but when I install poot and run it, it simply says "Invalid Qt version" and closes. I don't have any computer. Thank you!

I have the same model phone. If I find a root guide for it I'll let you know. Have you tried asking in the lg threads? Maybe go over there and ask around also.
Hello,
I have this phone LG LML212VL. Need to carrier unlock. Any help? I had this sent to me but still could not get anything to work.
How can you check if my Android phone asks for the unlock code?
Option 1
1 - Dial the following sequence on your phone’s keypad as if you were going to make a call:
2945#*model number of your LG#
To find out the model number of your LG:
Settings - About Phone - Model
On the sticker under the battery
For example: If you have an LG 610 type 2945#*610#
2 - The sequence typed will provide access to a hidden unlocking submenu with the following sections:
Network Lock
Service Provider Lock
Network Subset Lock
Corporate Lock
SIM Lock
3 - Check your phone prompts for the unlock code correctly under Network Lock or Service Provider Lock. If it does, you can submit your unlocking request.
Option 2
Insert a SIM card different to the Tracfone - U.S.A. network.
You will be asked to "Enter network unlock code" or for the "SIM network unlock PIN".

Good luck. BEst bet would be to check out "cdma-yemen" they are a talented team of Yemen coders. They always deal with Tracfone and can unlock about anything!
