Yeah... I'm planning go for only 3 ROMs to maintain. Next one would be PA or Screw'd Android ,if I can manage ^_^ & I'm looking forward to maintain them regularly on a weekly or fortnightly basis.
Hope I can manage.
In the mean time... Plz test & feedback while I keep learning ^_^

Here are some, so far so good, this ROM.
HI,
everything works well.
But all features listed in OP are not present.
There is for example no AppBar, no Halo, no Lockscreen blur, no listview animation, etc....

Thanks for posting SS mate ^_^
Least i could do bro, but in fairness i agree with @rodolphe06 that it is limited in features as of now, but knowing that you've decided to maintain 03 roms for our device, i say kudos and good luck to you. I as a consumer am happy to test and give feedback because my "expertise" is still limited to only giving feedback in regards to development.

thanks bro....
yeah... in terms of features it lacks a bit but its snappy & smooth
I did took a peak in PA & Screw'd AOSP, & PA seemed a bit tricky... SO I'm taking on Screw'd AOSP for now... hope I'll try to build Screw'd AOSP within this week lets see... :fingers-crossed:
Fingers crossed. No pressure. it's gonna happen, when it's gonna happen. Best of luck.
Hey @mumith3, great work bro! Since you mentioned some interest in the PA ROM, I would like to insist you to go for it instead of the other ROM because we would love a PA ROM and I know that I speak for everybody here.

I'll let you know in a week; as you already know, that's how long it takes to tell how the battery life is, and, obviously, even that long wont mean a thing to you, since your phone is not setup anything like mine...I just don't understand why people ask a question like that, but hey, that's me...

It's the same, new builds each 2-3 days, depending on the most downloaded variants, but don't be afraid I'll keep supporting all the variants, and when Slim officially builds come out I have some plans like SS version.

I think official Slim devs are working on it for now, I can implement all these but I need to know if the Slim base is stable first because a ROM full of features that don't work is like a BMW using Beetle's engine, it becomes just a mess, but of course, as soon as Slim gets more stable I'll add this features.
If someone wants some specific feature, can use the 'request' tab for it as well.
skype, viber...
what about sound in viber and skype? Does it work fine? or still have robotic voice?

NOTES
This is an UNOFFICIAL build of CM12.1 ( CyanogenMod 12.1) for Xiaomi Redmi 1s and by NO means this is my ROM. I am just compiling from CM Source and 100% credits goes to Armani-Devs(device maintainers) and all other coders who contributed to CyanogenMod.
This is similar to a nightly from CM but has some extra goodies baked in. If you can't handle some things possible being broken, please don't use this and then complain to me for building it.
FEATURES
Take note that some features may not be natively working out for the Redmi 1s..these are just the common stuff from usual Temasek builds on XDA..

GENTLE REMINDERS
If you chooses to use my unofficial builds here, pls DO NOT post your issues and/or request support from the other CM12.1 thread. My builds contains yet-to-approved commits and MAY affect Armani-Dev's debugging process. Pls understand and I hope to get your support on this.
What to expect next?
Do NOT expect daily builds. I'll build when I'm free or when there's major changes.
Do NOT ask for support in this thread.
Do NOT use this unofficial build and ask for support at the official threads. (the other CM12,1 thread by Armani-Devs)
Do NOT be rude. (why you gotta be so RUDE!!)
Do NOT report issues with Xposed involved.. :silly:
Respect all users
If you see a NOOB question and don't feel like replying, then DON'T, just ignore that post. If you do reply, good for you..and make sure to be nice in your reply.
HOW TO REPORT ISSUES
Gather as much information as possible on how to reproduce the issue.
If the application is force closing, get a full logcat that shows the error/problem. There are apps such as SysLog available in the play store that allow you to capture this on your device.
Post very clear/exact steps to reproduce the problem along with logs here. If you don't have either, post in the Q & A thread or Bug report section.
I entertain PM's though I do not want you to abuse and use it as your personal tech support Hotline, I may not be ONLINE always or if I'm online I'm either checking all my threads or laughing my ass on some threads I ran into.
SPECIAL THANKS
This is my Special way of saying thanks to those who donated/supported the project..I can never repay you in any way but as I said I will do my best..I'd like to also thank @fuxmen for being a generous person, he deserves credit/thanks too..without him this would not even be possible..To my testers, I'd like to thank you all for being the foundation of the project..without your sacrifices, we wouldn't get here..I'd also want to thank @Jackeagle for spending some time to entertain my queries and for his wonderful guide on setting up environment for dev work..

Agreed. Both are very good. I guess maybe I should stop testing and not give feedback...
Edit: JK I'll test something I'm not currently building. Keep it up gopi!

CarbonROM is an aftermarket firmware based on the Android Open Source Project. We are dedicated to fast, stable, and feature-filled roms, honesty and communication with our users, and openness with our code. We like frequent builds, with the very latest and greatest hardware support and fixes. We strive to not only provide you with the best rom we can build, but also to give back to the Android community and our fellow developers. For us, this is about creating something we can be proud of and hope you will enjoy.
Please feel free to look, build, and use our code at CarbonROM's GitHub... and at CarbonROM Gerrit.
Disclaimer:
While we make every effort to test these builds as much as possible, we are not responsible for anything that may happen to your device, family, pets, or perception of reality. We ask that you do your part to know your device and know how to recover from problems before you flash!
Support:
We spend an astonishing amount of time developing this software. We can't spend much time on XDA as a result, so if you need support, please try the following:
1) Search. Search, search, search. Yes, you. I don't care how unique or important your question is, it's very likely someone has adressed it already. Especially if you're even close to new at this.
2) Read our FAQ, which can be found on our website. Carbon FAQ
3) Ask a question in your device forum. Someone will no doubt try to help you. Warning: this help may come in the form of telling you it's a dumb question that has been asked before. See step 1 - such are the perils of asking questions when you haven't done the research yourself. Android is about helping yourself.
4) Join our Discord server! There, you can connect with other Carbon users and our developers, and you can get quicker responses to your bug reports. The invite link is right below.
We recommend MindTheGApps. OpenGApps should work, but please make sure you clearly mention the gapps you're using when reporting bugs.

Remember, every penny you send to us goes right back into the rom. It's used for hardware, server costs, etc - all the things that help us make Carbon better with every release. Your support means the world to us! If you've enjoyed Carbon, please consider a donation toward this goal. Thank you, and we hope you continue to enjoy Carbon!

Encryption: This device has full support for FBE encryption and I will only provide support for encrypted devices. If your device isn't encrypted, most likely the no-verity ZIP designed for OOS O will work for you, but if it doesn't - I can't fix or help that.
Firmware: Weekly build from April 5 requires ob7 firmware.
If updating from Nougat: Please back up your data off the device. Most likely you won't be able to upgrade directly from N. OnePlus used different encryption blobs in N vs O so for the best experience, I'd recommend you flash OOS and then flash Carbon. If you're already on O builds of another ROM that supports encryption, you should be fine not to go to OOS in between.
No support will be provided if you're flashing custom kernels, magisk, audio mods etc. If you experience issues, please eliminate those things first to make sure they aren't causing your issues.

My favorite is finally here! It's rock solid! My new daily driver! So far I haven't encountered any problems. :good: Thumbs up!
Thanks for the ROM it's very smooth!
Are you planning on adding back the wakelock blocking at the kernel level? I noticed it was present previously on adinkwok's thread but not in this build.
Either way very interested in the development and ethos of your builds so would greatly be interested in anything you have to share :good:
