LG G3 D855 not booting after flashing - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi. I've got a problem with my LG G3 D855 16gb, i flashed Android 6.0 kdz with Flashtool and it completed successfully but now it's stuck on blackscreen with green Android robot as shown in the picture. Any help ?

Does recovery boot and can you get back into download mode? You could try flashing again maybe the USB connection had a problem. It wouldn't be the first time that has happened during a flash.

I have just managed to repair my LG G3 D852 with a new motherboard replacement.
After i flashed it with LGUP using the LGD852AT-01-V10b-302-610-JUL-14-2014+0 tot file it will only boot into a screen with a spinning wired shape in the belly of a green robot.
there is a little bar on the bottom, but i have let this run for several hours without any change.
I can't get it into download mode and factory reset only results in the same problem.
I installed the Qualcomm HS-USB QDLoader 9008 to try and unbrick it, but my computer still dosen't recognize the device and that version number(9008) is not displayed in the driver list when i look at a list of drivers.
is there a quick fix for this?
most software packages for windows seem to raise problems with my anti-virus software complaining about some kind of virus or malware. something that works on linux would be nice, but i haven't seen any thing come up in my searches so far.
thanks

LG G3 D855 got hardbrick: any thoughts?

Guys,
we have a hardbrick for G3 D855 (2/16GB) here
user claims it was a faulty FW flash, but i really doubt that.
so now the phone won't boot or do anything. it shows as HS-USB QDLoader 9008 in windows device manager.
no fastboot, no nothing... Any thoughts?
hard brick
No my friend it can be recovered with factory images and Qpst. The thing is to find those images, the rest is under control.

I've got a D851 Tmobile hard bricked.
No logo, nothing.
When I hold up and plug it in, I do not get any download mode.
I am trying to update with the LG flasher and the TOT and dll. The problem is, the phone is not recognized as any version, and the DLL does a check and stops, since it sees the phone as no version, and it looks for D851.
Anyone have a DLL that will NOT do a check???
I can then flash the D851 TOT file.
Thanks.
Same problem here, only LGandroidnet serial port ( QDloader 9008). Cant flash anything till now. Same proglem with flasher, LG mobile Tools stops at %4.

LG G3 D855 Wont boot in Download mode.

Hi im new to XDA Developers Forum, i just tried this Solution( http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g3/help/help-secure-boot-error-trying-to-boot-t3054977 ) and my LG G3 D855. Is in the same state as from User "DonnieDoezoe"
"Totally bricked my phone with these instructions Won't turn on anymore. Tried everything...only shows a trinagle if I connect to usb without battery."
Before i tried this. I had already rooted the LG G3 D855, and after these instructions i tried to reboot into recoveryTWRP( wich i flashed with flashify) i tried to reboot with Quick Boot (Reboot ).
After this my Phone doesnt work anymore and is just like in the state of a blacksreen( the phone is visible as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port(COM41), the only thing that shows is a triangle if I connect to usb without battery.
I searched for solutions the whole day and tried to unbrick it with the LGFlashTool by flashing the .tot file and .dll, but wont work because i cant enter to the Download mode.
I Hope some one gives me hint in the right direction on how to fix this problem, would much appreciate it.

How to brick LG G3 D855 ?

My phone was bricked hard and i had to us many tools to unbrick it and it worked and i have opened download mode band started lg flash tool but every time it reaches 100 the screen goes black and lg flash tool fails to flash and the g3 returns to 9008 again and i restart doing it from the beginning for about 7 times.
The problem is at the last time i have unbricked the device with a different .tot i guess and it did the bad thing.
My phone shows the lg logo of boot for a second and turns black. Then comes agin for a second and turns black.
And the sequence have going for about an hour
And the download mode do the same and its not opening even so i guess that the best way to solve the problem is to brick the phone again.
But this time its my choice to.
So i need help
I think you are flashing wrong tot.make sure the model of your mobile and then flash the exact tot.

LG G3 D855 (6SW) Bricked

My LG G3 kinda died in sleep. It powered off during the night and once I woke up, I tried to turn it off but it's now stuck on LG logo screen.
For a month now I've been going through other threads about this, but still can't find solution that works, I'm not sure if I missed anything.
Phone status:
- It won't boot further than LG logo screen
- From recovery mode, there is only 'Factory reset' option, which I've tried several times, but once again it gets stuck on LG logo
- I can go into Download mode but can't get it to work
So far I've tried with TOT files - LGFlashTool (version 1.5 and 1.8)
and KDZ - LGFlashTool 2014
With earlier versions (TOT files) I got message: Model check information FAIL! - Screenshot: i.imgur.com/N6sxbEt.jpg
And with LGFlashTool 2014 (KDZ) I got: Connection with server fail - Screenshot: imgur.com/wD6vWL3.jpg
While I'm not sure I'm using correct TOT files for my device (it's from Switzerland and has 6SW mark so I went with Europien files), I know that KDZ are good (I've used IMEI search option, so that's all good), but that doesn't even matter since it won't even comunicate with the damn server in the first place.
Any suggestions would be highly appreciated, I've lost all hope :/
Thanks,
Matt
hi bro.
try forcing phone to boot in qualcomm 9008.
and unbrick it with board diag.
for booting phone in 9008 mode you should open back of your phone.
google G3 test point)
on xda you can find few thread about unbrick.
if you couldn't repair it send it to LG Services for repair.

Question: Completely Dead Phone - What should I do ?

I have G3 D855 16G.
I was stuck on a bootlop and tried to install a kdz rom with Lg Flash tool. I succeded once then phone was bricked again. I used recovery with Imei from LG and failed to recover the software. Now when i try to flash a KDZ it stops at 4% and when I try to flash with Imei recovery it says that I dont have battery. Battery is charged 100% with an external charger. I tried also the .tot method and fails saying "model information check fail" even I have all correct files. Tried with Lg pc suite also, no luck. In Lg Up tool it says model unkown. The phone is not detected in adb but I have all drivers and appears in device manager. Phone does not boot up or in recovery or else. Sometimes i see led light blinking red after i remove the battery for a longer period of time and then try to turn it on. What else should I do ?

Delete this thread and create another one in "G3 Q&A, HELP & TROUBLESHOOTING" or ask mods to move.
Its a hardware problem just heat cpu or use paper trick which is used for screen fix

change your battery with an orginal one. then open back of phone and check te model written on right side of mother board. if it's not d855 then flash writed model's kdz
1.. Make sure you have really D855 model first.
2.. To use ToT method, your phone must be on" hs-usb qdloader 9008" mode.
If you can power on its 100 percent fixable. Bootloops are soft bricks not hard bricks. Make sure you have the right phone and the right kdz and use the LG flash tool or the kdz flasher from the factory. Go through the extensive thread in the help section. There is a large thread covering brick recovery and that's going to be more help than posting a new thread. Everyone will just direct you to the existing one. Good luck! I've done a lot of these brick recoveries and the thread in help section is great.
