does anyone happen to have a spare S pen they would like to send to me a fair reward?
I tried to fix mine and kinda broke it in half, still usable but not ideal.

Heheheheh. I still have my SPen from my original Note 7 too. I returned my original Note 7 with a gaping hole in anticipation of losing/breaking the SPen for my replacement Note 7.

Mine does, on the left hand side of the plastic back, it squeaks when I press it. That's not so awesome about this phone.

Yup, so much. It drives me crazy, went back to my one x for now.
No sir.

No squeak here. It would have to be a mighty huge squeak for me to give up multi tasking and go back to the One X. (Never mind multi view)
I found its easier to put the back on if you start with slotting the bottom parts in first. Try putting the back on again.

All is well here on my Marble White version.

The back will creak if you've removed the cover too forcefully and tweaked the little hooks that hold it in place
My back clicks - especially when I press the Home button... drives me nuts.

Mine currently does atm, but it didn't start off that way, it was fine when I first got it, but after a number of battery pulls and constantly taking the back off enough times it has changed to being like that. This happened on my S3 as well, but I simply bought a new back cover and problem went away. The new one on my S3 hasn't changed to being like that and I've pulled it off many times as well, might just be a minor manufacturing defect thing (I noticed the tiny clips on the backing that click into our phones are small and sometimes look a little warped from being mass produced), You can order replacement backings, as well as different custom colors off ebay, or just the official OEM ones from Samsung. My carrier's store sells replacement S3 backings so once they get replacement Note II backings in ill just get a new one to stop that from happening, they are cheap so no biggie.
I just ordered a metal back for $6.75 at ebay. Hopefully it will be good . The stock plastic back is way too thin, don't know why Sammy was so cheap on its flagship.

Yep I have a squeaky back too but it doesn't bother me that much as I am getting a case soon. In other words no big deal
Sent from my SGH-I317M using xda app-developers app
Well I solve the problem by sticking some paper into the inside of the back where the squeaky sound comes from.

for those buying aftermakret backs off Ebay be warned that most don't have the NFC chip in them. The OEM battery cover has it (2 gold contacts upper third of the case).
Mine squeaks around the volume rocker. Grey phone. Havent checked my wife's which is white.

Will they request the original spen when we claim warranty?
Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I317 using Tapatalk 2
Pretty sure losing something doesn't fall under standard warranty. I think you can get a new spen for 30$
It's worth a try to ask I guess. If not you can buy a replacement on amazon.

they will send you a replacement first, the replacement should not come with an s pen so they will not expect one back. It also will not come with a battery, backplate or charger.
So you LOST the spen and want to file a warranty claim as opposed to just buying a replacement from Amazon?? Too funny... good luck with that...
Fyi.. they check the contents on the back end so when the pen is missing they will charge you for it and who knows what inflated price you'll get hit with.

Well, I used the 50% of coupon that Samsung sent me and bought a new one from Samsung. $20 shipped.

What in the world are you taking about? Rofl
Is selling my Nexus 4 for the Note 2 worth it? I highly doubt I need the Note 3 specs, so I might just settle to get a Note 2 and then the S5. What's a price I should pay for the Note 2 brand new? $450-$500?
Definitely worth note 2 in my opinion is still the top smartphone out just check out all the versus videos on youtube. The note 2 always comes out the winner

What about a price? I sold my S3 for the N4 and I miss my Touchwiz software.
Go for the Note 2

Just having the Note 2's screen size has made my experience with my new phone amazing. Yes, it is a little uncomfortable to text with but when I am stuck for hours somewhere, I put the Note on it's stand, lean way back, and watch a movie on a big ass screen.
You can still get aosp ROMs so you want be missing a thing from nexus 4. Bigger screen, bigger battery. Touchwiz, something you were looking for. Great phone. You'll get many ppl saying, its so big!!!! aha

Its a great phone. I bought mine off of craigslist for $450 with a otterbox defender. Brand new is still running above $700.00.
Paid 380 for a mint used last week off CL.
So if I go with something in mint condition, paying around $380-$450 is good? How about warranties, do they transfer over if someone were to sell a phone that's still under warranty?
Im just wondering why this small package was included in the box with my N910P.
Any ideas??
thanks
I got them to. I'm not sure what they're for. ?

This! That's the tool you use to remove the nib(tip of the S-Pen) so you can change it once/if it becomes worn. In that same bag you'll find the replacement nibs as well. Between launch of the Note 3 and the Note 4, I only changed my Note 3's once. Even though I use mine daily, I don't draw or write too much with mine, and I know some people do. So I'd imagine you'll need to change it more often than myself if you use your S-Pen a LOT.

I hope i am posting this in the right spot. I bought my note 4 secondhand, so i dont have the replacement tips that come with it. Everywhere i look online, the packs are either all black or all grey, and i would prefer to buy from amazon over ebay, but i know the oem pack comes with the black and grey tips, for protector or no protector. Does anyone have a link for a reputable source for replacement tips? I have a black one now and the little rubber bit is falling off. Much thanks!

Nope you have to purchase the complete pen but it comes with extra tips. By the time you buy the 2 kinds of tips your going to have 10 - 12 bucks into them if you get a new pen you will have the tips and a spare pen.
Walmart also sells complete pen 25.11 free shipping https://www.walmart.com/ip/Samsung-Galaxy-Note-4-Stylus-S-Pen-Black/40587404#about-item
