How does it feel in the hand? and how many clear coats? Trying to imagine it like the paint on your car.

i guess it's really a matter of personal opinion but i would agree. for me the carbon fibre back cover is a little off. i'd go with the stock back

Don't know much about the car side ( I work for Sherwin Williams), but all I know is its car paint ( had a Honda in for painting) but didn't sand. I have a few dings in mine and he said they could fill my scratches ( read bondo).

Sorry for the double threads but I figured this will be better to get opinions. Can everyone say their favorite case for the lte version gnex? Pictures would be great. Also is it a dust magnet? My last case actually scratched my phone a lot by drawing dust into the case.

my favourite is .....
this is called case mate creature case. this is pure silicon(high quality..not like your usual cheap eBay silicon cases)...lil bit of dirt magnet....the best part is the design engraved on the back of the cover...protects the phone very well...no scratches whatsoever...

Unfortunately it seems that the case makers jumped on the gsm version and assumed the lte version would be close enough.
Even with its problems, the ultra hybrid is still my favorite. It's pulled away a touch at the top and the back does get a little loose when hot, but it's not really that bad. I like how it doesn't have cutouts for the buttons, which I like. It feels the least like a case of any I've seen.

$25 is just too steep for a rim of plastic. There are good cases out there much cheaper...
Guys its very very good quality way more than I thought it would be its a plastic rim yes with rubber edging along the inside for actual protection

Hey, I just got my case.
I have to agree that the casse offers a great amount of protection for just a bumper.
However, I noticed one problem, which really isn't a problem.
My old blackberry micro usb charging cable doesn't fit in the port with the case on; however, the LG one does.
However, it's really a none issue at the time.
Mind posting pics of the black bumper? I'm considering getting this, but am not too fond of the white one.
Just ordered the black one. From South Korea, so I guess it's going to be a while before I get it.

I'm really surprised that I haven't seen anyone mention anything about this fantastic case!!
I've had one, maybe two, of these cases previously for other phones. It was a few years back, and don't really remember how I liked them. But, they have been selling them for years now, and for most major phones, so I figure they were doing well. I had been through page after page looking for a case that caught my eye. I never could really find anything that suited me, and was about to settle on the official Google (non-flip) case. Somehow, I came upon the Incipio website and found the dual pro. Went ahead and took the plunge on the blue/dark grey version.. I COULD'NT BE HAPPIER!!
Seriously, this has to be one of the best three cases out for this phone; and, in my opinion, it is the best one out. I also have the .13mm Mime glass screen protector; it fits like a charm and has no peeling issues. The "lip" of the inner silicone part of the case actually goes over the edges of the screen protector. Almost as to "protect" it from chipping/peeling.
Does anyone else have this case? If so, what do you think about it? I might can find a camera to put some pictures up if anyone is interested.

I have this case in black. Its a nice case but the silicon part of the case is loose. When you take the phone out of your pocket, the silicon pulls away from the phone. The buttons are nice on it tho and the case isn't too bulky.

Most cases are made of some weird rubber, either they feel cheap or they get stuck in the jeanspocket.
Some cases look great but they always tend to build so much bulk..

It looks great yeah but 35 dollars is too much for just a case which is why I didn't buy the official one. If it was a battery case for that price or even a little more like 45-50 then it would be worth it for me

With battery cases like this. You will lose a bar or two on cell phone reception as well as wireless. This was the case for the Galaxy S4. I believe you will lose the function of NFC as well.

How protective are aluminum cases though? I feel like TPU/plastic combos would probably protect the best since it absorbs shock better than metal.

Why does that one bottom corner stick out like that? I'm guessing that's how the case clamps together. Seems like it wouldn't feel very nice.
Yeah not bad, but I'm not a fan of Florida sticking out of the corner there. Always making a mess of things!
Also with it being an Aluminum bumper, I'm pretty sure it's aesthetics only. That's a relatively soft metal, especially with how thin is looks. Any real bump and it will probably dent/scratch easily. It's like using a thicker version of the HTC One as a protective case.

I am holding off as well. Even with the screws, not sure if it'd fit in my Seidio holster without scuffing the crap out of it. However whenever I visit this thread and look online at the pics, it seems unbalanced to me because of the screws.
Waiting for feedback on the aluminum bumper. I'm interested to find out if the bumper keep the back of the phone off of surfaces. It looks like it wouldn't protect the back of the phone at all.
