Hello,
I installed the last version of 29/11 of RESURRECTION REMIX N [5.8.0][BJRR][OxygenCam] and I have a problem of space available. I have only 25GB of free and 30GB are occupied by the system.
How can I find this space?

With a file explorer app like ES File Explorer you can do an internal memory analyse to see which folders are the biggest.
have the same issue after a format userdata for decryption , going to copied the rom and i see on my computer the space 24go to 30go available but have nothing in the op3

The android market which comes with MIUI 1.7.29 simply says I have no space in my device. But I have about 500/8GB in SDCARD and 850~ / 2GB in internal storage, so what the heck!?

did you solve it? can you explain how, please?
This question might have been asked to death ., but still i would like to get a real answer. my phone shows that the system ROM has 367 mb and 110 free .and my internal 446 mb and 75 mb is free
if i find a ROm lets say 150 mb would that increase my internal MB .or the sys ROm is dedicated lets say 450MB.,and that is it.so if i use a ROM 150 MB or 400MB the Internal will not be effected ??
anyway so what if I install a basic ROM with nothing much there ,.no apps ...etc and i install the apps i want what ROm with that be that runs and stable ,one that built using Android 2.3.3. since these i can tether ...from my phone .
sincerely

The smaller the rom size, the more initial internal storage you will have. A 350MB rom would have less space than a sticks and stones 90MB rom.
If you flashed a basic rom like you described, and started to install apps, you would see your internal memory get smaller with each app. However, most roms have a2sd baked in. Once you partition your sd card and upgrade your ext to the rom specifications, the apps will be placed on the space on your sd card, not the phone.
thank you for the answer.
Hi Friends,
The MIUI stock rom was showing 6.12 GB of ROM totalspace out of 8 GB and 1 GB RAM. I flashed with custom rom, now it is showing only 5.7GB of ROM and 820MB of RAM. Is this the real spec of the device or some of the spaces got wasted while flashing? or is it not utilizing the RAM and ROM completely I tried with both CM11 and Mokee, both showing the same.
Please suggest...

Miui uses some sh*t memory calcuting tech. I have a 64 gb sd card inserted, the actual user available space is 62.5gb, but my phone shows freaking 66.98gb!! How can a 64gb memory card have 67gb in it!?!?
Trust me, the internal storage of our phones can hold 5.72 gb, and not more than that. And the total usable ram is 871mb, not 820mb. 153mb goes to the gpu.
Check the screenshot.
Not in miui bro even all brand in 16 GB you will get 12 GB for use 2 GB for application and rest for system.

When I move files manually it doesn't completely remove the app. A portion of it is still eating away my memory in the internal drive and when I download big games those games don't move properly which is why the swapping of memory is required but i don't seem that's possible in custom ROM's .
Hi all,
CM 13 is great and has solved my GPS problems which occurred in stock marshmallow but I really need a ROM which allows me to move apps to a micro sd card designated as external storage (not internal). Can anyone recommend a ROM which is close to pure android and allows transfer of apps in this way?
Thanks
Sean
