Playing Candy Crush for 22 hours straight can take its toll on your battery (and your marriage). Rate this thread to express how the OnePlus X's battery performs under heavy use. With new flashed Ressurection Remix, I got 3h of SOT and 10h battery life..dont know what will happen in few days

3 - 4 hours with GTA SA. Good enough for me!

I average about 2 to 2.5 hrs of SOT with full day use. Start at 100% at 7am and when I am home around 7pm I am down to about 20% left.

It's really low... Do you use 2 sims?
Bad signal zone?
Lot of synchr?
Facebook app?

About 20h of use and 3h50 screen time with 23% battery left. On stock 2.2.1 with boeffla kernel. Very good!

I am currently on fully stock 2.2.0.x ROM. Went back to stock because CM13 battery was bad but stock isn't much better. Maybe 10 minute more SOT but it sucks in that some apps push notifications don't come through on time. e.g. WhatsApp.
1 SIM
No facebook or any other social network APP
Only 1 exchange account for email and 1 google account for app download only no Gmail Sync
Signal is a bit weak where I am, it seems the signal does impact the Oneplux X a lot? Other phones didn't drain this bad.

About 15-20 hours use with 5hrs SOT. This is on WiFi, 4G would be a little less but still good.
CM13 nightlies with Blu Spark kernel, -50 undervolt and slight kernel auditor tweaks.

im using cm13 by ashwin007 and the blu spark beta version kernel for cm .
the battery drops are huge while im on wifi and the phone heats a lot.
i used snapchat for like 30 mins or so and the battery dropped from 80 to 40 percent and heats.
and even while using clash of clans it dropped like nearly 10 percent for around 10 mins!
can u suggest somthing to fix this ?
and the battery stats dont really show much on what consumes so much of battery!!

Same here. The signal is not that weak, but it goes and comes sometimes. Anyway I've never got more than 3,5 screen hours.

Marshmallow update battery life improvements?

So I was wondering how is everyone doing on MM as far as battery life is concerned? I am getting remarkable battery life since updating. I do have Greenify and the new battery features in MM are helping already. 15 hours since plugged in, 7 hours standby, 8 hours moderate usage and battery is at 49% that's amazing!
How is it looking for you guys?

I'm at 10 hours since plugged in. 48% remaining. Moderate to heavy calls, Net searching, EMails with attachments and texting. No video watching but still, very good battery life and NOT so far enabling Greenify nor any special third party options. Plus I leave Wifi as well as Bluetooth on which I know can kill battery. Overall a good thing.

Well with me is quite the opposite way , I was getting 3 or 4 hours SOT depending if the signal is good or if I'm using wifi calling,power saver etc. on lollipop ,now on MM for the first 3 days I can't reach 3 hours ,even today is really bad,wifi calling on form 8:15 am till 3:15pm and just 30 min of SOT it was 39% .... usually the same usage with Lollipop I would be ot 50-60 %

What's your average SOT, so far? After the update I'm having cell standby issues again, but worse this time. I think I'm going to do a factory reset soon.

I did a factory reset and it seems better now but can't tell yet ,because I work in area with very bad reception so I use Wifi calling all the time ( only wifi for calls not searching for cell signal) so the cell standby is high like 40% ,but when I'm off I'll use it more "normal" and I'll let you know. From 7am to 4pm I have like 45 min. SOT mainly texting ,FB and G+ and I'm at around 50% battery !

I still get the cell standby battery drain even with good signal and VOLTE off,it is always more than 14% in the stats,the other thing is Android OS is on first place always and Skype consumes more battery than before it's in top 4 ( signed in but running in background).

My cell standby drops down to 12% when the phone is being used moderately to heavily. When it's idle in my pocket at work it gets pretty high. I'm guessing there's no need to factory reset the phone if it's still the same. That's pretty annoying.

Yea,I did factory reset before the update and right after the update so... and even after few days again so these stats are after few factory resets I don`t think it would help much if you do factory reset !

Screen on time

It's amazing how much we actually use our phones in a given day, especially when we watch "videos"! Rate this thread to express how many hours of screen-on time you can get on the LG G5 before depleting the battery.

I have the H860N (dual sim) on build v10c. Take note I am only using SIM1 as the second slot is used by my 64GB microSD (it's a hybrid slot).

A lot of social networking during data usage. A bit of listening to music, photo shooting, web browsing and YouTube streaming during WiFi usage. Some casual games as well.
Power saver triggered on 15%

There is LG's official bootloader unlock program for the unbranded EU H850.once u do that(only for h850) there is TWRP built for it too

Who cares if the s7 gets better battery life this has a smaller battery that does better than other's in the g-series, and it's replaceable(unlike comparable devices) giving the device more longevity.

what apps did you disable/remove i struggle to get 3 hours screen on time and this phone is starting to really annoy me thanks in advance

Well, compared to the Galaxy S7 i own, the SOT honestly sucks. I barely get more then 3,5 hours with Medium usage. Removed most of the bloadware, disabled background data usage on most Apps and still i can't see alot improvement.

The most I ever got was 6 hours and 30 mins with 19 percent left. No Wi-Fi with LTE on, Bluetooth off and the screen no more than 35%brightness . I used to have the note 4 att version and only got 4.5 with every single bloat app disable. I have cm brower ,cm launcher no facebook just messanger and Google app running. I'm sure you guys won't believe it but I really get amazing battery life with this phone. I'm at 41 % with 3 hours and 30 mins and 11 hours 20 mins since I lasted plug it. I have the t mobile version and here are the apps I have disable.

I really can't complaint with a mix of Wifi and LTE. It's not as insane as my S7 exynos but it last me through the day and I have the spare battery. I have not charged my phone in a couple of days now. Also standby time is the best I have ever seen on a smartphone.

WTH, the max SOT i manage to get is like 2hrs!
Currently battery at 32% after taking off charge 11 hrs ago.. SOT is 1hr 11m
Android OS is showing as using 19% battery.
I think it's time for a factory reset...

I think that will be my next purchase

Some say that its 6 hours, some say its 3. Thats a huge gap and i dont know who to believe, but 3 hours seems more legit considering that battery size.

I will post later today after I fully charge. But I lost about 10% during initial setup and downloading apps. Less than 10 minutes SOT, hardly a fair reflection of endurance yet though.

Nothing special at all. No battery saving modes. I do like to have wifi and Bluetooth calling turned off. Do u know how to enable battery percentage in battery bar as u see?

I think your 2nd day results are pretty good. 3.5 hours of SOT and 22% battery left means you should be able to get at least 4.5 hours or more for a 2770 mah battery. That's in par with my S7.

This is from yesterday, my first full day with the phone after getting it Thursday. About a half hour of a graphic heavy game, over an hour of YouTube, some Netflix casting. Navigation was on for maybe 20 minutes, Bluetooth was on all day, streaming gpm and podcasts. Screen brightness was 50% most of the day. Power saving mode was on from 15% until I plugged in at 4% and took these screenshots.

OK, so it's probably a case of needed to recalibrate myself after the Z3 Compact - I get twitchy if the phone ever got as low as 35% by the end of a day....

And here's today's stats.

Not gonna get too ahead of myself but it does appear that battery life is improving as the days go by and the OS settles. I'm hoping to consistently get 4+ hours SOT. That would be an improvement over my 6P (3–4 hours SOT since Nougat) and I'd be content with that.

Today is my first full day with the phone (basically all setup completed yesterday eve), and I'm currently at 4+hr SOT with 31% battery left. I spent about an hour (edit:*talking*) on the phone, listened to a bit if music, wandered around this AM taking photos, and spent a ton of time if Facebook and Reddit. This is WAY better than my 5x, which was struggling to hit 2.5 hrs on a full days' use. Things to consider: it's Saturday and I'm not getting work emails all day, but also I typically expect worse battery life early on as OS is settling in. So far, this is more than u was expecting and is a great early indicator. Even if I only get 4-5hr SOT long term, is still be quite happy with that. Trending for 5-6 is just stellar!

I got a Mate 10 which has good battery life but during gaming I was only getting around 3.5 hours playing Forge of Glory mostly.
I bought the Redmi 5 and got 5.5 hours playing the same game.

Is it normal or less ? I have heard reviewers say they get 10 11 hours SOT . I am so confused.

Any answer will be greatly appreciated .

Yes you can easily get SOT around 8-9 hrs with moderate to heavy usage. This device is terrifically awesome in case of battery life. Till now I didn't use any kind of battery saver.
PS: running 9.2.6.0 Global ROM.

Thank you ! I have put the brightness to auto . So basically it makes a huge difference .

Are you serious? Put it on 50% and you can get 12-14 hours. 6.5 hours on 100% is insane. My nexus 5x can barely get 2 hours on 100%. 4 hours on 35%.

First of all I am using MIUI-10 Official built with no customization and no root, its all original. During this SOT 5 hour of calling (call recorder always on) while Bluetooth headset was connected during call only and wifi permanently on, mostly I do call,whatsapp,camera,insta, browsing and youtubing, wifi location is always on, dual sim always on , during this SOT data or 4G internet was off only wifi always on, all type of touch and type vibrations are always on, brightness was always on automatic mode , rotation sometimes on and sometimes off, ringtone is always on with vibration on call, I mostly receive from 15 to 25 calls daily with a lot of texting. I am also very much into softwares (no gaming) and have nearly 38 softwares installed on my default miui10 rom.thr is also a battery eating software that is called flashon-call.. it keeps on flashing fron and back torch lights while call is coming as a visual notifier. Well thr is so many more to state but I guess that’s fair enough 
i am unable to post screenshots as xda is not allowing me to ... as this is my first post over here however i am a pro pakwheeler.
now i am writing the images stats down.....
1- Mobile UP Time = 40hr 40min 45sec
2- Screen On Time = 08hr 44min 14sec
3- Remaining Batt = 5%

Since I got these few days ago, I can't barely keep my hands off this lovely phone quite an upgrade from my first ever Xiaomi device Redmi 4X.
Screen barely turns off, that is a straight use non-stop from 90% to 9% tops...
I actually thought its draining fast.
