Just flash the full 3.2.6 rom and you'll be back.

The OP support flashback seems to be the only solution for those that are on stock recovery.
Those with unlocked bootloaders with TWRP have successfully flashed back to MM ROMs after flashing CB 8.

Hello, happy new year at all, can i flash twrp from my installed twrp recovery?

Yes, switch from showing zip to img
Decryption problem
It's not possible to decrypt the phone (when partition is encrypted) with this version of TWRP.
It doesnt accept password used for encryption, and of course it does not work with "default_password"

Don't own this device so a few questions.

Okay, so, one of my friends has a OnePlus 3 and it disappointed in the battery life after the Nougat update, he wants to roll back to Marshmallow.
So,
1. Is rolling back to Marshmallow possible after a Nougat update? Are there any risks for flashing Marshmallow on Nougat's bootloader?
2. Can someone tell me what is the latest stable (don't want betas) Oxygen OS based off Marshmallow.

1. Yes, its fairly easy to roll back. Minimal risks If done corectly
2. I believe the latest mm build is 3.2.8 (not sure though)

I'm not sure If we're allowed to post external links but, you can go to Google and search for "downgrade op3".
This is best marshmallow in my opinion of course

Remember that op3/3t N have f2fs file system which is unsupported on 3.2.8 (MM). You'll either have to use an old version of custom kernel (I think only bluspark supported f2fs at that time) or convert to ext4 in twrp. Other than that there should be no issue with flashing 3.2.8 over N

Need help with update.

I have a rooted Honor 8 pro (DUK-L09C675B130), with an update in queue but everytime I download the update the phone boots into TWRP and it is not able to flash it. I searched for threads to unroot the phone (or get the old recovery) but I didn't find any solid answer. Also, when I try to enter recovery using the button combination Huawei E recovery shows up instead of TWRP. And TWRP is unable to flash anything, be it an official update or custom files. Any kind of assistance is appreciated. Thank you!

Back to OxygenOs OP3

So I made research but couldn’t find a clear answer. If I want to go back to OOS, can I just download the latest build from OnePlus site and flash it in TWRP and be all good? Or will my TWRP get replaced with stock recovery after flashing it?
Cuz I am now using paranoid android which is based on Nougat 7.1.2 but I want to give newest Oreo OOS a shot after a while.
And is it true that I don’t need anything else but the zip of an OOS? I am not planning to root or install magisk because I don’t feel like needing root nowdays.
Thanks for reading :fingers-crossed:
twrp will get replaced, you will have to flash twrp immediately after flashing the rom to retain twrp.
Hit thanks if it helps
