Hi
I have created an account on Xiaomi homepage. When I try to unlock it, it says "please enter a correct name", all the time. I can't get pass that. Is there any other option to unlock the device?
Thx in advance.
You have to write your name (first name for example). Without any special characters. Had the same problem yesterday. Use only characters from a to z.
Thanks I'll try that.

It happened with me once but the device unlocked when I entered my google username and password(and amazingly without any data connection)..
I think it matches the username and password stored in the device(used 2 connect 2 android market,2 sync data etc) to verify(may be thats why it didn't need any data connection..
try this :
-->If u use any different password along with your google account username to connect to 'htc hub' and/or 'htc likes' try those(i don't remember which i used)..
-->try entering null as password. (together with your google username)
-->try entering your username without @gmail.com
-->use both of above two steps together
-->try changing ur google account password via computer and try again..
-->go to htcsense.com and click forget password under sign in and reset ur password following the link sent to ur gmail and then try again
-->Call yourself from another phone, answer, without hanging up press the home button, then menu button, settings, try to disable pattern-lock or change pattern
-->Call yourself from another phone, answer, hang-up, directly after hanging up start pressing your buttons like a madman for <30-60 seconds ending with your home button (might take a while to get the timing right). Go into settings and disable pattern-lock.
-->try first 4 steps without the sim..
other than these saving ur data on devices internal memory will be difficult..factory reset phone or contact service centre(who will also probably factory reset ur phone)..well !! Best of Luck..:fingers-crossed:
If you created device specific password for your phone through "google 2-step verification", you have to enter that password instead of your actual google password...
just restart ur phone nd try ur pattern again.. thats it....

and thats where the problem starts..device doesn't recognises username and/or password(as it is with htc devices)..
That happened to me once, I saw it as a opportunity to flash a new rom

Hi,
I’ve successfully deleted my mi account but i couldn’t remove that account from my phone?
Its asking password and if I entered the old password, the message shows that there is no username found (since i delete the acc). Any possible solution to completely remove the acc and enter my new acc details?

So I have got kind of a strange buggy problem. I have an LG G4 with Android 6.0. I recently encrypted my phone with the standard Android encryption method. I used a six character password for this. After about a month my phone prompted that I had to change my password because it had expired. I must change the password in order to gain entry to the phone. So, I click 'change password', type in my old password, click continue and then it returns me to the lock screen?! Locked! It never actually lets me change my password. So I'm kinda stuck.
I tried using software like dr.fone to gain entry to at least save my files, but my phones default pc connection setting is charging and since I can't gain entry, I can't set it to MTP sharing. So I can't even gain entry through my PC.
Is this a known bug? I couldn't find anything on the internet about this. Anybody have any idea? I know I can just factory reset, but I really want to try saving my files. There's some pretty important stuff on my phone.
Thanks in advance,
Greetings,
Luca

Bootloader is locked I assume.
So your phone will not let you log in until you change the password but will not let you change the password
As the title, when I press "Add account and device", it says "Can't add more account to this SIM card. Please change another". Because the first number of phone number in Taiwan(+886) is "0",and I forgot to remove it in last account, so I couldn't unlock my Bootloader. I deleted my account, and I cant add my account and device now. I complained with online customer sevice in Taiwan, but she said the only way is change another SIM card.
I tired to borrow another SIM card, but noone can lend them to me.
Is there another way to unlock the bootloader lock? How about using wireshark and get the token, then fastboot it? Unlocked Bootloader file (can anyone upload it?)?
Sorry for my bad English.
