Help, bricked? Sort of. - Nextbit Robin

I just flashed TWRP, a file that gets rid of encryption permanently, and SuperSU. Phone boots into system, but once it does I get a message saying the phone's too hot and it needs to turn off, but it doesn't feel hot. I'm pretty sure something's wrong, what should I do?
Edit - Got through most of the beginning setup this time, but I still got the message again. Again, I don't feel the phone getting hot.

In this thread, the Nextbit employee says that they provide help for bricked phones. Hope this helps.

Where in the world am I going wrong?

Okay, I don't know what the deal is but I've now screwed my second device lol
I have a T-Mobile H811 on 10H, my second to be exact, and after I follow instructions for low level root and flashing a recovery, everything works fine! For as long as I stay on that rooted stock image...
The moment I flash anything other than the rooted stock image my device looses sound, becomes extremely slow and unresponsive, with the SystemUI crashing constantly and restarting. Shows lock screen, doesn't respond to touch, and if it does it's only for a brief moment before it freezes and then shows "Optimizing Android", rinse, repeat.
This persists through returning to stock with a kdz. Once it begins, it doesn't stop, which is why I had to return my first device...... and it looks like I'll be returning this one as well :crying:
I am no stranger to the game, I was not on 10N, I made sure to use the right COM port (the diag one), I make sure to only flash things for the H811, so what in the world is happening to my device when I flash other roms? My first device I flashed BlissPop nightlies and thought that might have been the reason, this time I just flashed a modified stock image. I for the life of me cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong or how to undo the damage once it's been done.
I still have access to download mode and TWRP
I am desperate for help... I cannot seem to find anyone else who's had this issue. Missing those Nexus 5 days D:
Thanks in advanced
EDIT: I flashed back to stock and took the 10N update (it was like pulling teeth) and everything seems to be working again... but I'd really still like some insight as to what I did wrong lest I do it again.
And now I flashed Bliss and everything is working just fine... strange

"System IU has stopped"

First of all, I love this phone.
Rooted with Elemental kernel.
Last night when I was watching the Cowboys game, my phone battery was getting low. Then out of no where, I got the System IU had stopped. The phone becomes unusable.
Restarted - Same Error
Hard Factory Reset ”lost my data” - Same Error
Re flashed Google Stock Image - Same Error
Was getting late so I decided to plug my phone in to charge and mess with it in the morning. Right when I plugged it in, the error disappeared and I was able to use my phone again. So I'm getting this error when my battery about to die, which is weird.
Anyone having this problem or know why I'm getting the error?
Me too.
Look here, the bug is already known: http://forum.xda-developers.com/pixel-xl/development/root-supersu-t3490156
Thanks, wish I knew what was the problem before I wiped the phone last night lol.

Did you reflash just stock boot image or whole stock image, asking in case I want to unroot. Concerning that flashing stock boot image didn't fix it
Flashed the whole stock images.
When it booted up it worked fine, but after a few minutes it gave the error. Sorry it was late last night. I don't remember if I had Rooted again. Before that error occurred.

Lg G3 Stuck in Recover Loop After Android Update Error

Okay, So let me start from the beginning so I'm certain I'm being descriptive enough.
The other night my G3's wifi stopped working. When I went to turn it on in settings it would turn itself back off. Which I thought was strange. So, I assumed it was a software issue so I backed up any important items and factory reset my phone last night. That went over fine. Wifi worked again, all was good. Until, it said it needed an Android Software Update. I hit "update" and allowed it to do its thing. About halfway through the update the phone said "error." With an icon of the Android bot with a hazard triangle sticking out from it. I let it be for a bit and nothing happened. So in my impatience I took the battery out and put it back in and tried to restart the phone. This is where the issue occurs. The phone keeps booting to recovery mode. I'm not savvy at all with Android so I don't know if these mean anything but it says "Android System Recovery <3e> LRX21Y" The phone has had zero modifications done to it. I would really appreciate any help or any tutorials that could save the phone until my g6 preorder comes in.
Thanks!
Kyle
Your phone failed the update for some weird reasons and is now stuck. I'm afraid you'll need to restore stock Android using LG Flash tools and KDZ files to your device. It will get your phone working, but you'll lose your data in the process.
You can try mounting the phone from recovery or download mode and see if you can access your data and backup the data. You can also try the recovery option without downloading wnloaing a KDZ first.
You can fins tutorials around the forum, in the general section usually.

HTC One M9 keeps turning off while in bootloop. Can't connect ADB.

Hello, I've ran into an issue where my phone keeps turning off while in the boot screen. I'm using stock 7.0. What makes it worse is that I can't seem to get ADB connection between PC and phone.
Now I regret my decision of not flashing TWRP earlier, as I wouldn't be making this thread if I had and I could've tried flashing a different rom.
This happened after the phone felt a bit slow, I restarted and then it wouldn't boot anymore.
I have S-OFF if that helps with anything.
Thank you for your help!

Edit:
Right, apparently I can get the adb to work in download mode, but the battery is a bit too low to flash TWRP. I'll see if I can do when it charges a bit.
Edit: So I flashed TWRP, tried flashing a rom and twrp rebooted during the flash.
Edit: I can't even get into download mode anymore. Phone's rebooting and vibrating all the time.
Edit: Welp, can't even get in recovery now. Only place I can access really is the bootloader. Is there anything I can do about it now or is bricked?
So, I tried flashing ruu, getting this -
load_file: could not allocate -2093772439 bytes
error: cannot load 'update.zip'

Tried flashing recovery, which did work but I can't boot to it. Getting reboot loops before getting to TWRP.
So I suppose this is it then for this phone unless anyone can help me with it. It's been definitely the most frustrating phone I've owned.
Seems buggered to me. If no download mode then there's not a lot you can do.
Beamed in by telepathy.
Ehh... It's kinda weird how the phone just did that. Tried to flash ROM and it just went.
I kinda feel like it could've been faulty flash all along as I had issues with it where "app has stopped working" was spammed. I factory reset it and it was unusable. Went to O2 for repairs (note that I hadn't meddled with software yet) and they still charged me for it. It worked fine for two weeks and then same issue appeared. Stupid me thinking that trying to fix it by myself could've worked, which I thought I managed to do for a month. Then this happened.
Is there really nothing I can do from the bootloader? fastboot seemed quite functional from it.
Either way, thank you for this answer, even though it was one nobody likes to hear...

LG-us990 (G3) has boot problems after rooting/flashing custom ROM (McAfee related)

I've looked all over for a definitive answer on this, and can't seem to find anyone with the exact problem I'm having. When I first got this phone it came with 4.4.2 jellybean. Eventually I was notified of a software update so I went ahead and installed it. To my horror, not only did it update to Android 5.0.1 (yuck!), it also installed McAfee. After this, my battery life became so bad I had no choice but to root the phone and flash a custom rom. However, when doing this I didn't realize that McAfee had a lock feature, so after getting TWRP, rooting, and installing my custom ROM (OctOS Android 5.1.1), I rebooted to a screen saying that the device was locked. After rebooting several times and wiping and reinstalling some things (I don't know exactly how this next part happened), I finally got the phone to boot and the 'locked by McAfee' screen no longer shows up... but now, the phone boot loops about half the time, and when it does boot it always goes through the "optimizing android" step, as if the phone has just been booted for the first time with a fresh rom. What can I do to fix this? I can only assume that McAfee is somehow involved here, but I'm not even sure at this point. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
