Fire phone cm11 to stock rom - Amazon Fire Phone

Hi all!
I was becoming very bored with the stock is so I decided to install cm11 through safetrap recovery. After a few months of use I decided that I would like it back on stock os. Little did I know that the back up I made of my original os wasn't anywhere to be seen!! So for now I'm stuck on cm11!! Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would try the solution from the install thread.
You can find it in the FAQ, look at question 6.

[SOLVED] [Q] Help - getting stuck on boot screen after trying to revert from JB to GB

Hi guys.. I tried installing jelly bean on this device (i8160p and it's not mine) using odin and a stock 4.1 rom I got from samsung updates(I have no root and I went from a never-touched stock)... All went fine, It's working and has all the features. Except that now its owner is asking me constantly to revert back to the original os, since he did find 4.1.2 very slow. So I went back the same path as in the first place in an attempt to get the original gingerbread : I downloaded a stock 2.3 from the site and then tried flashing it.. All again went smooth, with no problems, until I got stuck on the bootscreen and noticed that there was no way to access recovery(download mode working fine though)... So what I'm left with now is a non-booting gingerbreak or the possibility to stay in jellybean(flashing it still works), I'd prefer if I could go back to GB; I think the problem is that there was some conflict caused by jellybean which will require a reset that I can't of course do since I can't boot into recovery, and I don't see any way to install a custom recovery. So can this be done any other way, I'm afraid I'll break this phone before I'll even come up with anything since this is my first experience with roms and boot on an android;
info : as I mentioned There is no root (for now. I might however get into that from jellybean, but I'd rather not if it's possible) and the model is i8160P . an emphasis on the P here since it's the reason I can't find any custom roms, and all I'm left with is the stuff in here
Edit : got gingerbread back after following what angrybb has suggested
Flash the working JB, and after that root your phone like here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2139263 Reboot to recovery and after that follow the howto: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352064 just in step 8 use original gb firmware.
If you can't get adb root access from stock recovery then flash kernel with cwm, for jb for example this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2304432 or this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2171054
After flashing one of those kernel, again follow: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2352064 , again in step 8 use gb fw
Ok I'll see
Thanks man I'll try what you suggested as soon a I can...
I have a question though: now I noticed that some people fixed this issue by dowloading some other parts (.pit and something else), but of course I'm unable to find these for the model with the P... Now If someone can please tell me if these files have anything to do with the re-partion option in odin(I heard that it does format everything and not just put things on top of things).... Is using it safe given that I don't mind losing data, or should I stay away from it ?
For angrybb : the phone still shows as i8160p in the about section and has access to network...
Here there is a lot talking about pit files, some tehniques with flashing one fw after another, but with no real explanation why this should be done this way. I dont like doing things like that, i want to understand what i am doing. I still haven found some in depth info about pit files.
Anyway, i upgraded from GB to JB with kies, after that i compared some parts of fw and pit file is not changed. Pit from GB and JB have same md5 in my phone, so it is the exactly same file.
I know that method i suggested is not short and plain easy but it is tested and working.
Thanks
Sorry for the delay... For anyone with same problem just follow what angrybb has suggested, but do not under any circumstances ignore backing-up CSPSA_FS and MODEM_FS if you care about your phone's ability to make calls !
hey, maybe you guys could also help me out? i came from a custom ROM that i was having problems with so I wanted to go to an official ROM instead. Originally i came from a GB stock ROM, then i went straight to CM 10.1 but i didnt have any signal on my phone so i tried flashing original stock 4.1.2, now im stuck on the boot screen and i cant access recovery mode. please help?
P.S. my phone is i8160

[Q] updated to 4.1.2, now want to root

I looked all around and cant find much since the 4.1.2 update for at&t was only released a few days ago.
Anyway I just updated to 4.1.2 on my unrooted s3. The update added significant bloatware and has made everything lag including my keyboard which now takes 5-10 seconds to show up. I want to root and install AOKP, however I am a complete n00b at this and all guides available seem to be rooting from 4.0.1 through 4.1.1. So I have a few questions:
Will I have a problem rooting from 4.1.2? Do I need to downgrade to an earlier version? (if so how do I do this)
Do I use odin to install AOKP?
If any of this has been answered please point me towards the proper thread, I looked before posting but couldn't find much.

Use this tool to root the phone http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1963790 the download you want is in post #3. Instructions in that thread are easy to follow. Don't worry about firmware version, it will work whether on 4.1.1 or 4.1.2.
After you have done this you will need to install a recovery, and then flash your AOKP through recovery This next link will direct you to everything you will need to know.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1725839
so I followed everything exactly. I went to install AOKP from ROM manager, the phone restarted, I saw the AOKP splash and it went to load but never got past the multicolored flashing X. Its just loads indefinitely. I restarted a few times and still the same thing. I tried to boot into recovery with power vol down home but it dosent go anywhere, just restarts the phone into the same loading loop. Is there any other way to recover?
To flash back to aosp based ROMS, I've heard you need to go back to the 4.1.1 bootloaders.

[Q] New to Android. I think I've ruined my install, wifi no longer turning on.

Hi All,
I recently purchased a Nexus 7 (2013). Its my first Android device and so far I've been really enjoying using it.
I managed to root it and installed Multi-rom. I have two roms on it. Stock 4.4.2 and another Kali based rom.
Anyway recently I saw an update for 4.4.3 and I tried to install it from my stock 4.4.2 rom ( I'm thinking this was a mistake?)
Anyway it download and the booted into recovery mode. I wasn't sure what to do and I just rebooted it again and opened up my Stock image.
The issue is now I cannot turn on Wifi for some reason. From the Wireless conections page it just says 'turning on wifi' but never does. If I boot into my other rom wifi works fine.
The version of Android on the stock rom still says 4.4.2. My Kernel version is 3.4.0-g80964c2 and the build number is KOT49H.
I'm kind of new to all of this and don't know how to proceed. If anyone could help me it would be very much appreciated.
Cheers.

Thanks k3lcior!
I guess I can use this to get back to a clean known state with the 'Flash Stock + Unroot' option.
However I was wondering is there a way to update my internal ROM when I've got multirom installed? Trying to update from within 4.4.2 seems to have gotten me into this mess in the first place, so I'm trying to learn how I should update my internal stock rom in the future?
cheers.
I have no idea as i've never used MultiRom so dont want to speculate.

Cannot downgrade to KitKat

Hello, I have a Nexus 7 2013 and I love it. One of the main reasons I got this tablet is because it is a flagship Google device and it could run custom ROMs well. I want to throw Kali Pwn pad on it. When I flashed Kali, it looked like it flash successfully, but when it started it would just hang on the Google screen. Since KitKat was the latest edition of KitKat when pwnpad was launched, I decided I should try to flash stock KitKat and see what happens, it appeared like it flashed right, but when my tablet started it would still hang on the Google logo. I also tried to flash CM 11, and still the same thing happened. Every ROM I flash that is based on 4.4 hangs on the Google logo. The farthest I am able to downgrade is Android 5.0.0. My tablet came with 5.0.1 out of the box. I am currently running CM 12.1-20150814 Nightly. Another note, the only recovery I can get working TWRP MultiRom, the other verisions of TWRP (along with CWM) cant mount anything. My goal here is to get either Pwnpad or Nethunter (Nethunter would just hang on the Nexus animation, but I don't think I had enough patience that evening to let it run) installed.
Thank you for your help
Ditto!
Bump!
my device is currently on 5.0.2. i'm unable to downgrade to any Factory Image below that. any info will be helpful.
Solved
OK here is what I found. Yes you can downgrade to KitKat, if you flash this bootloader (attached) after you install your KitKat based ROM. I was able to get Kitkat NetHunter running on a deodexed ASOP ROM. The only recovery I could get running with it is the Multi-rom TWRP recovery, don't get it from the Multi-rom app, just flash the attached recovery. The weird thing is that I bought this tablet directly from Amazon, not Groupon. All talbets coming from Groupon seem to be having the TWRP mounting and the downgrading issues. I notice also that my tablet has a leaking screen. I have taken this tablet to Haiti in mid July. That might be part of the problem, but I think it is a factory defect. I bought the tablet at the start of July.

Back to Stock ROM

Hey guys,
can somebody help me to go back to the original firmware of the Galaxy Y?
I have model number GT-5363 (German 02 version, but same hardware as the normal GT-5360).
I tried to flash Lineage 9 and CM9, but it didn´t work, because I couldn´t install TWRP or the Custom Roms because of "wrong model number".
I asked afaneh92 and he told me to change the updater-script, which I did. Now I was able to install TWRP and the ROMs, but both Custom ROMs don´t go further than the bootscreen. One time I reached the Lockscreen with Lineage, but the phone seemed to be frozen then.
Since I still want to use my phone, I want to go back to Stock Rom or another (working) Custom Rom.
By the way: I wasn´t able to restore my backup with Clockworkmod 5.0.2.8. It seems to be a well known bug in this version.
Can somebody please help?
