Viper4Android not working.

Hello, I installed the Viper4Android app and gave it SU, yet it doesn't work. In the screenshot it says not enabled, but it is enabled and force enabled. I've never had this issue before, and I'm on bubors cm11

You could either try local mode, or delete/disable DSP Manager. They are conflicting.

Didn't work for me, but I fixed it. I thought about it for a while, and then downloaded lucky patcher, and moved Viper4Android to my system apps, and now it's processing! Yes! Thanks.

As again, I figured it out. Not sure if anyone will ever read this, but it turns out Poweramp was the issue. I switched music players and now it works fine.

[Q] my lg g3 start beeping for no reason

after i install custom rom in my device (blisspop 5.1.1) my device start beeping really annoying sound, doesn't matter if the device is on silent mode or regular mode it beeping and you cant do anything to stop it
it beeps randomly , i can go almost 2 days without hearing this Continuity sound or it can bug me few time during the day, when it beep it can beep for few secnds or few minutes.... as i said.... completly random
it is so annoying i had to go back to my iphone 4!!!!! please help

i dont know, didnt try to downgrade it back to stock rom , i did try to install different kind of costum rom and it doesnt effect the problem

While some are better than others, I can't find any ROM that is stable, stock or otherwise, on this thing... This might be a 5.1.1 AOSP issue though.
My vs985 just did this for the first time on Paranoid Android (AOSPA Legacy), Aug 22 2015 version (5.1.1), which I've been running without issue for a few days (until now). It has impressive sound quality with the phone speakers right out the gate, and I was listening to music with them.
It was a loud, fairly high-pitch, constant drawn out beep while I was listening to music in Songza and trying to choose a photo as my wallpaper. The first thing I did was try to lower the volume but discovered this had no effect at all on the volume of the tone. Then, I tried to pause my music, but I don't think that helped either. It did stop after 15 seconds or so, but I am not sure if it was because of anything I did. There was nothing in the notification bar to indicate this was an intentional alert, and I was on Wi-Fi only in airplane mode.
I have a Cool Tool HUD which didn't seem to indicate a high temperature or other things to cause problems -- at least not that I noticed. CatLog did have some errors like this:

I did see entries in the log about Google Now Launcher activating its hotword detection. Doing stuff with my wallpaper could have meant a bunch of activations and deactivations of mic input as I went to and from the launcher, in case that was somehow related.

Phone crashes by playing Audio via USB OTG DAC

First I´d like to say thank you for this great rom - it´s the best one I´ve ever got for my unloved i9195.
With version 3.9-20150810, I´ve tried to play music to an USB Audio device, but the phone get´s very slow and i doesn´t work. The phone needs to be rebooted. The USB DAC is recognized by the phone and the phone seems to switch the music output to the usb DAC. OTG in general works fine, as I can use a USB mouse without an issue.

I tried tons of ROMs but with all of them i'm receiving the same error - this device is serranolte. Would some one be so kind and tell what i'm doing wrong please ?

What device do you own? And are you sure you are flashing right ROM for your specific model? Also are you using the latest recovery?

Weird exclamation marks on SIM pics
I've been using these ROM for 2 days. Everything's smooth and fine, although I faced two bugs (?) so far. The first thing is Trebuchet 'flickering' (home screen literally flashes rapidly), rebooting the phone and restarting system UI never helped, but the problem gone by itself. The second thing are weird exclamation marks on SIM pics in status bar whereas GSM connection is fine, both SIM cards are able to perform calls and send/receive SMS. What do exclamation marks mean? Thanks.

Is there a way to disable home key from waking up the phone on this rom?
I have tryed with wanam xposed but its not compatible, and after the changes the phone doesn`t start.
I have also tryed changing the gpio-keys.kl and the sec-keys.kl but without sucess.

If you have Xposed maybe try Xposed Additions. You can re map all hardware keys with this module. If you can't disable with that, set the home key to something like camera, not the app but the function in the main list as this will only work when in the camera app itself.

The rom is working fine and looks great and also have lots of features but the sim doesn't work after the upgrade from Build 08-21-2015 OFFICIAL to Build 08-27-2015 UNOFFICAL.
My device: serranoltexx.
And now one question: Why does the Build 08-27-2015 UNOFFICIAL doesn't exist anymore???

For thouse of you having problems with the battery and f4k kernel (like battery going to 4000%), is a bug already known and present in other devices (like the Samsung Galaxy S5). Precisely, in the S5 thread the solution they provided was to avoid 4.0.3, and stay with the 28/09 rom. I haven't tried the 4.0.3 29/09 rom of the LTE, but i'm using the 16/09 and it hasn't got any problem.

I don;t know this is my first sony device. What is more odd to me is the random touch event sounds, and whether or not they are just random or if actual commands are being issued. If that's the case i wonder if it's like that tap-jacking thing that supersu has a prevention feature for.
Still trying to root this thing btw,

Resurrection ROM Skype speakerphone issue

Hi, sorry, I can't post in the Resurrection ROM's thread because I don't have enough posts.
Tried on latest stable and unstable Resurrection ROMs (0714), and skype mic does not work when in speakerphone mode. Here are the logs during the switch:
I'm not sure if this is the real reason, but according to the logs, it looks like skype is trying to access "speaker-mic" input, which in turn tries to access ACDB device id 11, which does not exist in audio_platform_info.xml file.
