I bought the LG vk815 specifically for the Mashmallow upgrade. Now I am facing this LGUP Model Unknown Error which is preventing me from upgrading my vk815 from Lollipop to Mashmallow. I am in Canada and so I can't get a Verizon account to upgrade.
I came across a G3 dll fix and I'm wondering a vk815 dll fix is available or by some other means. Many thanks for your help.

I searched the forum, but I don't know what exactly I have to search... Here 's the thing: A friend got a new LG G3 from his carrier (Brazil - Vivo), by points program. This G3 is carrier's customized, with apps and crap stuff, but this it's not the problem. The problem is that the updates depends of the carrier to build them. So, my question is: there is a way to replace the carrier's firmware and put a retail one on it? Not a custom ROM, the retail.
You can flash KDZ files on any compatible phone. Make sure you're getting the right KDZ file for your phone (16gb/23gb and model number). You can find kdz files by looking through the forums and Google.

I am from india too and i am using Sprint lg g2 and i used the steps mentioned in the below link to unlock the network.

flashed my lg 3 d722 and now i have signal drop issue no wcdma or lite and gsm keeps on dropping before flashing my device was hundred percent working and now i am stuck in this.
before flashing i was having software version LGE LGD725PRV10a but i cant find this tdz on the internet so i flashed d722v10d from lg firmwares.
and i checked all version of d722 a,b,c,d,e,f and g but non of them working all having signal drop issue rest each and everything is working.
by imea getting frimware i am unable to do that cuz when i give my imea i get nothing.
i got the files(android built+kernel built) for LGE LGD725PRV10a from lge open source but i dont know how to put that in my cell and i dont know how to use other operating system besides window
anyone have any idea please share

its all about lg g3 not about lg g3 s/beat/vigor but i posted my problem over there lets hope for best
