Is there a screen sharing app that works for fire tv 2 that is rooted? I used to use teamviewer/ quick support but on the rooted devices it does not let you screen share or control. As soon as the message about allowing permissions appears it dissappears before I can even approve it. And i'm left with a black screen.
i can get screen share without root... what apk are you running?

i cant control though without root. I can just view the fire tv menu and point to things remotely.

Hi there.
There's a new app that acts like Shazam but for TV shows. Unfortunately, it's not available in Canada.
Anyone in the US willing to DL this free app and post the APK somewhere?

Thanks kakrikakri. Install worked. Can't wait to test it after work.
Thanks kakrikakri!
Works great, even in Canada, eh!
Here's the apk. Its a freeware, So i guess its not illegal to attach and Share.
It works perfectly in Sri Lanka.
Tried with House MD , Outsourced.
It brings the results back with the TV Show Name and Exact Episode Number. Ingenious App ! Only needs to hear about 10 seconds from the show, not even using the camera. Just the Mic,.
Thanks! Just downloaded it on my Sensation.
Surely this should be installable through market enabler. I don't know why it doesn't work, even when set to 'US', anyone else having that problem?
Wow. This app is awsome!
How loud do you need to have volume turned up on what your watching? I got a full 7.2 surround sound and I had it turned way up and it still said no go
Sent from my R800i using XDA App
Its an awesome share, for those wanting a new version 1.1, the link is below:

v1.2 on Androvation.com
Hunted around and found somewhere with v1.2, installed it, seems to work for me here in the UK.

Just wish we didn't have to jump through hoops to side-load stuff like this.

Hello, everyone! I am brand new to Android development, and this is my first app. The idea is simple: scan a book's barcode (using an intent to the Barcode Scanner app), generate an MLA citation, export by whatever means you wish. I intent to add more features in the future. For now, I need my solid base functionality tested.
I'm bumping this because I really need testers.

I've tried it out, although I scanned only a couple of books.
After scanning screen goes black, when I presume the app looks for the title book, but I surely should present a spinning wheel or something. The first time, screen remained black, I had to press the back button to get to the app and have the pop-up.
Besides, when scanning another book, it simply crashed (for reference, it was Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secret, UK, adult version)
Anyway, the title recognition works fine
P.S: I think Android design guidelines recommend removing the dialog titlebar in this case
I'll give it a shot here soon. any specific tasks you want checked out?

Worked for the first book i scanned, asked for publishing location, gmailed it to myself.
Second book it scanned bar, black screen then force close. possible it's not gracefully failing a search?
tested on ATT S3 with 4.1.2
I also scanned my cigarettes and it said not a valid scan. wonder why
Gonna download it n test. :victory:

I hate when people post like this ^ ...... Either help or don't be sarcastic about it.. I had to root my phone to get lollipop keyboard look I already had Google keyboard but it didn't give the material design option or I didn't realize there was an option to the only way that I knew to look at the "Play Store?" was because someone I was following said something about it... Seriously if someone is asking a question they obviously do not know.........

I wasn't trying to be sarcastic. My initial post was asking if he/she looked in the play store...then I looked, found it and posted the link.
So I help and get hated on lol.
Hi!
I used gamepad mapper to set the controlls for the nvdia shield controller in N.O.V.A 3. But if i exit the game and shut off the controller and want to play again later, then i have to set up the controlls again for the shield controller from the gamepad mapper. I want to know how to save profiles.
Plz help me. I just bought my shield tablet and controller.
i'm curious to how this is done as well, it's not obvious from the interface.

figured it out. you gotta touch the share button and upload it as a profile. at least that's the only way i could get it to work.

I even tried that but when I download my own profile from their server it doesn't work. It just shows two of the buttons I set instead of all of them.
so i installed the seicane headunit for my honda accord 2003 , and beside from the ac not displaying on the tablet, everything seems to be fine. ( but if someone has suggestions on that..... )
Anyway, what i was wondering,
In the steering wheel i have a few buttons, and mapped them to the functions i like.
i also have a mode button on my steering wheel. i mapped that to the mode function.,in the program, and i found out that this mode function switches between 4 apps:
audio, video, radio, navigation.
I was wondering if anyone found out how to change the apps that are controlled by this mode function.
been looking everywhere in the settings, but i think it's hardwired to the mode function.
so if anyone has suggestions on that, that would be really nice

sadly this isn;t a sollution for my problem, but seicane is sending a new board, so lets hope that does something. The cable swap did do make some weird noises in the back of the system though
