Hey guys,
Has anyone here bought or had anything to do with Aliexpress? I want to buy an HTC One M8 my self, but I come across different models, which are usually 16/32GB EU and 16/32GB US version. for example: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/Unlo...G-WIFI-Quad-Core-5-0-Dual-4MP/1993568822.html
Does anyone know what is the difference between them? Could I still use the US version in Europe? US version is cheaper and has more space (16GBvs32GB).
And if anybody bought from there, what is your experience, was everything okay?
Thanks in advance
useful
Yeah, I want to know too, as prices are significantly lower than ebay, like 20% off
did anyone bought from there?

Read through the feedback, though stars are high. Couple of them are trying to change the faulty devices they received (which is gonna take lot of time). Also, there could be problem with the antenna not working for US LTE bands. By the way, US CDMA (Verizon/Sprint) won't work on this. Also, if it comes with SIM locked version, you will have to do all the research and work (saw recently in M8 forum). Maybe contact the seller and know product ID, network bands etc

Is this the same model? Is it a good phone for the price still, the deal at the link below is very cheap.
http://www.tinydeal.com/letv-le-1-pro-55-2k-snapdragon-810-4gb-ram-64gb-rom-4g-phone-p-159277.html
Does anybody know how many hardware versions of the smartphone out there?
Or there is one and frequency selection is software dependent?
best deal at gearbest
You can buy at gearbest with 12 months warranty versus 6 months for less money, 164 euros with promo code "CellPhones8"
Hope it helps
I am a little confused here.
Both TD and gear best carry the 1 pro. Gearbest shows that the phone has band 7 (2600) and until today, tiny reflected that as well.
6 days after ordering from tinydeal, I have received an email from them stating the phone does NOT support band 7. Every other seller and device specification site says bands 3&7 are supported.
Finding official documentation has been a bit of a daunting task.
Advice, anyone?
I'm kind of confused about the phone, too. There seem to be three models floating around in stores, a regular one with bands B1/B3/B7/B38/B39/B40/B41, one with B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B12/B17/B25/B26, and an International one with different bands listed as well. Yet the manufacturer only seems to list the B1/3/7/38/39/40/41 model. Is this true? Does the second model I listed with B2/4/5/17 have full AT&T LTE support in the US?
Im really not sure. Too many conflicting reports. I think I'm going to cancel my order in the morning. I asked about the bands on the official tech support Le forum, and they referred me to their Hong Kong forum while completely dodging the question.
Update: A forum moderator sent me to the 'official' sales site here: http://cn.lemall.com/le_1pro/parameter.html
Three variants listed. All three have the same FDD-LTE bands of 1/3/7
In today's email from tinydeal they told I that the phone ordered supports B1/B2/B3/B4/B5/B12/B17/B25/B26.
I'm kinda torn now.. at under $200 it's not a huge risk.. But I'm already kinda tired of dealing with the crap of finding just the basics on this device. How much harder will it be when I have it in hand and need to do something more advanced?

I just received mine from Coolicool today. Popped in my Cricket sim card and LTE Discovery lists me as being connected to Band 17 right now. This must be an updated model, as it appears that the newly listed bands are correct. Maybe this is a sign that they're actually moving forward with releasing the phone in the US? If anyone suspects that LTE Discovery might be wrong, please point me to a better utility.
For the record, I purchased mine from Coolicool. As of today, all of the other models have been removed (the two with the different bands listed and the international version) and this is the sole model up for sale. It won't allow me to post a link because I'm new here, but it's the featured product on the upper right side of the screen.

The option is missing from the first menu. The second menu says CDMA and has a box you can check. I have no way of knowing what it did or if it works, as I don't live in an area that using Band 20. All I know is that I'm definitely getting Band 2 and 17, which haven't been available up until this new batch started shipping out apparently. The specs on the site I bought from specifically says no Band 20 support, so I'm guessing this doesn't work.

Have you got it yet?
Does the 3 and 7 bands work?
I received one today, bought in Tinydeal and can confirm that it works in the band 4 Tmobile.
Can you please share your experience with the new phone. Battery, hit, camera, games for more than 30 min.
Thanks

I cancelled the order, ordered another from gearbest that did indeed work on bands 3&7 ( 7 being the important one for me - Free mobile in central France). Sold it after a couple days because the phone was just too damned big and the software was a mess.
Actually thinking of buying another one as a spare. My Nexus 5 did something wonky yesterday and I don't want to have it fail and get caught in a situation where I don't have a phone.

Did you order the same phone from gearbest?
I bought it from gearbest and in 5 days it already arrived
The software is a mess, so i installed cuoco92 rom
I looked on all official LeTV/ LeEco sites (Global, India, HK, China) but don't seem to be able to find an "international version". Does anyone know where to find official information rather than from resellers?

No, I decided not to order another one. I thought I could get past my dislike of 5.5 inch phones, but just too big for daily use for me. 5.2 inch seems to be the sweet spot, so that's where I'm focusing my attention at the moment - though that is presenting it's own set of challenges.
I'm using a nexus 5 at the moment. I would like a little better battery life and a little larger screen, but I'm not dying for a new phone at the moment.
If I do find myself in a spot where I have to replace my phone and I can't find a 5.2 inch that checks all the boxes (big one being budget), I'll probably just stick with a 5 inch phone.
Right now the top two are the xiaomi mi4c and the huawei p8.
I would rather go with an Mi5 or P9 but they're out of my price range.

I don't think an official international version exists. At least thas what I gathered from talking to some LeTv support people on their forums. Everything sold outside of HK/China and India is considered gray market, as far as I can tell.
I'm about to buy this watch from Amazon. They have both a US and International version. I have no clue what the difference is. Any recommendations?

I bought the US version and have used it in countries outside US (India, Middle East) without problems. So I am not sure if it matters
Warranty differences. Nothing else.
What about wall chager plug? Does US version come with US type or standart EU type wall charger?
Best,
US version has US plug ( of course.....)
But who cares about that... adapters are $1....
Okay that adapter works
How about watch faces. For example should I use most common moto 360 luxury brand faces like R. Submariner, O.Semaster, T.Heuer etc.
Do these faces also compatible with Huawei watch?
If you guys who have these faces with Huawei would share some images, I will be glad.
Best,
Hello guys...
This is Huawei answer in Amazon:-
"Hello Stephen Munroe, I'd love to answer your question! Certain software updates on the U.S. and international versions of the Huawei Watch are different. For example, the Huawei Watch, featured in China, doesn't have the software update for the speaker that the U.S. Huawei Watch version has. Also, the U.S. watch comes with a 1 year U.S. manufacturers warranty while the international watch does not. (ED)"
Any experience with using the US-version in Europe?

Good question, I've just ordered the US version, I can't see why it wouldn't work here in Europe/UK though ?
I heard the US version is not IP67 certified and may not be as water resistant as the International version? Read that from a review on Amazon.
I'm using Huawei Watch US version in Asia (Pakistan) for a month now. It shouldn't be an issue because the watch doesn't have any network bands which you fear might mess up. I ordered the US version because of that speaker update which, according to Amazon Q&A, didn't land on international version. As for the IP67 certification goes, I didn't expose it to even a drop of water because I don't care if the watch is IP67 or not, speaker definitely isn't and since I'm away from US, I don't have the warranty so I can't risk it.
I was a proud owner of original Moto 360 for a year and half before this. This watch is leaps and bounds better than Moto. You're gonna love it using it and you're gonna love it when people are continuously going to compliment you because this watch is an exquisite piece of technology.

The difference in the Huawei Watch 2 international version & US is this.
Huawei did not release it's stand alone LTE version in the US, the US version lacks a sim card slot & LTE capability, it only runs on Bluetooth & WiFi & NFC.
The international version ha LTE capability, it has a sim card slot & can be used as a stand alone LTE device with it's on phone number so it doesn't need to be connected to a phone, it can run off LTE & WiFi & Bluetooth & NFC.
You're responding with comment about HW 2 to an almost 2 year old post which was about HW 1....??
Hi everyone,
Just received my note 8 pro, ordered on xiaomi france offcial website. I looked at the note 8 pro megathread briefly and some others too.
I haven't even turned my phone on, but i got something on my mind : apparently, there's an indian and a global version. the china or eu versions, even malaysian, are all global versions customized for these locations, but fully compatibles. All these versions have model numbers like "M1906G7*".
What i don't understand, is about the model number MZB8511EU, wich seems to be exclusively for the blue model with 6G + 128G. I found a website listing all variants but it was'nt listed there. When i google this model number, i can only find commercial websites selling this model, always blue with 6 + 128G, and labeled as "EU version". Even on xda, no post is mentionning this model number.
I'm asking cause on the bill xiaomi france gave me on the website, before i received the phone, the model number was MZB8511EU (i ordered the blue one with 6 + 128g), but i received a M1906G7G. I was happy that i'd receive the EU model cause xiaomi france says on it's website it has B7/B20/B28 LTE bands (seems they're french only bands), but i was also scared as no post on xda even contains the model number MZB8511EU, i was afraid i'd get a model no one here has, thus getting higher risks doing wrong things and bricking my phone...
Finally it seems the model i received support B7/B20/B28 bands also, even thought informations about LTE bands on note 8 pro seem inconsistants and differ from a website to another... So i have no complaints about what i received, but it's still itching me not to know about that "EU model" MZB8511EU, which seem unkown here on xda...
Sorry for my poor english grammar, i haven't practiced since some long years now, and many thanks if you read this far...

Can anyone double check and see if there's any issues with this listing? I'm in Canada, if that matters.
Just making sure it's the international version with global Rom, if either of those matter or if they can be fixed or changed by me.
Or any concerns? Just need a second opinion.

Just checked it out. It states it has global firmware. Oos 10.0.3 but doesnt state anywhere in the description the model of the phone. Judging from where it ships from Hong Kong i think its a chinese variant HD1900 with global firmware. Shouldnt be a hustle as this is the same setup i use in Africa unless you are looking for specific network bands
It's the Chinese version. The International version only has 128GB storage.
I would look elsewhere.
I'm not sure what's been sold where, but here's a complete list of 7T variants:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/OnePlus_7T#Variants
A phone sold as the "international version" is almost always an HD1900--that is, the Chinese version. The HD1900 has both Chinese and international ROM's available, and I think which one it comes with is a matter of where you buy it--but even if you buy the Chinese version, you can download and flash an international version of the ROM through the settings menu.
Ideally, in Canada, you want the HD1905, but it's no longer sold anywhere, and you're going to have a hard time finding it--I had to buy a used one. That being said, both the HD1900 and the HD1903 (the European variant) will work in North America. The lack of certain bands, especially on the 1900, may affect your coverage in specific situations, but I personally used an "international" version of the 3T in the U.S. (that was before they had a U.S. version) with no problems.
Note that the HD1907, while probably also suitable for your purposes, comes network-locked, and you'll have no way to unlock it unless you first activate it on T-mobile or a T-mobile MVNO--so avoid that one.
