Kernel source is all you'll get from HTC, and it's on their HTCdev site.
You won't find any complete HTC rom source, ever.

Hey,
I watched on Nexus One section, and i seen this topic.
Will this work with a MIUI ics rom ? (MIUI_Au rom)
Thanks in advance,
Bye
and hence it will only work with the 2.6 kernel.

Ok, thanks
But can i install a 2.6 kernel with this rom ?
You can not. You should only use kernels which are programmend for ICS.

Dang, that's been the problem since the beginning. Simon was looking for someone to build a new kernel but I think it was pretty much abandoned

i know, so annoying man
Since halo is open source now, would it be possible to have it on 4.3 Stock, odexed or deodexed?
Has any Dev compiled it yet? If not, anyone kind enough to do so?
Sent from my Nexus 4
AFAIK yoy'll probably need PA modules, so I believe it's not gonna work in stock 4.3!

not gonna happen , this is easy but when we work on AOSP (r1 or r2.1 branch) .
The primary purpose of opening this thread is there is no other installer for CM11. If we want to switch between Sony and CM11 ROMs we need to fastboot flash Kernel each time. So to remove that hassle I've created this installer
Features:
Stock CM11 kernel + Double tap 2 wake by nikhiljan93
Note:
P.S the latest CM11 ROMs seem to only work with newer GAPPS . I've only tested on PA GAPPS 30-12-13
Downloads:
d-h.st/KPq
Sources:
https://github.com/allspark2020/android_kernel_sony_apq8064/tree/cm-11.0. P.S I'll update the repo once I figure out how to use GITHUB

I'll only update this and hence no changelogs. It's only stock kernel. I'll try making my own later
Works perfectly
Flashed the boot.Img from flashtool...... Btw what are those additional wlan modules for?
For the need of it... am using the 3rd jan 2014 nightly and on ART runtime

Yeah. Now even the flasher works from out of nowhere.
GAPPS seems to be the culprit here

Nope. This is for AOSP based Roms like cyanogenmod, AOKP, P.A.C, etc... You want to check out allspark's advanced doom kernel v19 thread for a stock kernel.
This kernel however is working perfectly. Double tap to wake is working flawlessly so far. That was what I missed most about running stock with doom kernel. And now I have it on aosp KitKat! Great work my friend

possible to add color callibration tweaks like the kernels for nexus 4?
looked around but cant find any documentation or how to....any ideas?
How did you implement double tap to wake into stock cm kernel? I'm looking to do the same thing for my device

The actual code was written by nikhiljan93 for xperia z, I guess, so it might not work for you. Anyway I looked at commits by nikhiljan83 in DooMLoRD's github and added them CM source

I flashed this kernel along with AOKP's 4.4 Rom, so far so good. How exactly does "Double Tap to Wake" work with this kernel? I"ve tried tapping the screen but it never comes on. Is there a setting I need to flip somewhere?

When the screen is off, double tap it really fast. It will wake up
