What headset with three buttons work in our 7aktive ?
I think it's any Samsung Headset. BT headset will be much better. Level U Pro, for example.

There was problems with the BT Stereo headsets for 02 ATOM with the previous ROM. I would like to poll everyone's opinion if the latest ROM updates have resolved the problems, and which headset is now working beautifully with ATOM.

Voice Dialing Not Working
My Plantronics 640 headset works well, but my Voice Dialer thru the BT headset doesn't work with the 0402606 ROM--though it did with the original 0102306 ROM.
Any resolutions?
anyone try with Samsung SBH100? It is a A2DP spec stereo headset. BT 1.2.
Using Motorola HS850 easy connection no problem. But can't get the voice dialing to work.

* A2DP - ok but random hiccups. Perfect quality with Pc
* Vol - Too soft on Atom, had to preamp. Perfect quality with Pc
* AVRCP - Perfect but only in WM10
* Phone - Sometime fail to answer a call by headset when music still playing, must manual
We wish the next firmware would improvise the A2DP, great feature but buggy...

Third headset and no success
I need a small headset, what I can use for Skype on my Atom and to listen to mp3. How's the Plantronic 640 working? Does it support the A2DP profile? I don't wanna have one of these big Stereo BT Headsets... I also tried the btaudio program, what works perfectly for the sound, but the mic quality is too poor, nobody understands me by using skype...
Please give me your recommendations which one works 100% and supports all the features...

Motorola HT 820 works great with Atom Exec. Audio is loud and clear with lots of bass, and WMP 10 pauses on incoming call (press left button to answer) and resumes after hangup (press left button again). Good thing is you only hear beeps for incoming call not a 110db ringtone...You can use your Atom charger to charge the headset too.

hi guys, "BT headset" + Atom will get "real" stereo sound, right ???? I know that Atom does not have bluetooth with "A2DP".
is there possibility to use cable headset like BT headset with AVRCP?
BT stereo headset are too big and not cheap.

I do not need A2DP because I need only to listen audiobook, not music, so quality isn't so important.
Mono BT headset (I have jabra130) doesn't work with audio streaming on my Himalaya, and they doesn't support AVRCP profile.

AVRCP is a bluetooth profile. If your headset is not bluetooth then it will not have AVRCP.

haven't met with any solution so far.. simply these devices haven't anything to control with excpept the radio waves.. it has only jack/etc. with these you cannot control anything.
Some headphones has an additional button which can be used to answer talk. Jack connection has additional place to use it. is it possible to catch pushing this button programmatically?

Jabra BT 620s Stereo Headset, together with the last pocket player.
Take a view of these not expensive Headset and enjoy the life without cables.
I have the motorola stéréo headset and sound quality is good, and the micro for communication is really great.
I still have to test it with pocket player tho. With WMP no problem, I can even resume music after a call by pressing the play button

I have a problem with 2 headsets (BlueTrek BIZZ USB Flash Memory Bluetooth Headset and Nokia BH - 201). When I try to make e call I hear only a loud noise. These headset are bluetoth 2.0 EDR. I780 works well with other headsets (bluetooth 1.2), and the 2 headset works fine with others phone...any idea???

I tried three different Nokia BT headset but only noise, now I have SE headset.
I had same problem also with Samsung i780, I tried on many headsets like ITech and Sennheiser, the other party always complain of breaking voice. Sent to Samsung they said no problem. Guess had to use Samsung Bluetooth headset.

As the title says, i'm looking for a Bluetooth Handsfree with a2dp, mute button and good battery life. So far, I have found out plantronics voyager pro plus which satisfies this requirement, but its rather big. Are there any other good alternatives ?

why not check out the samsung hs3000
ive used it before , it has a nice battery life , great quality sound , 3.5mm for any headphones , music controls , volume controls , 2/3 eq settings , voice prompts ,
i dont know if it has a mute button but id rate it quite highly for a bluetooth headset
Also check out the Sony Ericsson MW600. Does everything I need.
Jabra icon or era will also do the trick. If you want full headset, try motorola S9-HD.

Thanks for the suggestions guys...I should have mentioned it in the first post, i'm not looking for a full headset...just 1 side mono one...that's why plantronics pro plus is on the list..
Also for the other ones, I don't see a dedicated mute button for them..I don't know how voice commands work? Do I have to say mute during the call so its mute the call? something like that or what? Like for example this product?
