Im trying to copy and paste a recovery file in a zip file "3e_recovery_no_sig_check1" from another post which is supposed to allow unsigned zip files to be flashed in 2.2. I extracted the "Recovery File" from the zip and placed it in the Sdcard folder. I downloaded Astro in order to access the extracted Recovery File so I could replace the existing Recovery File located in the System/Bin location.
However, the cut and paste option in Astro is grayed out not allowing me to replace the recovery file. Is there a way to activate the cut and paste (rw)feature? All files in System/Bin are labeled -r-.
Previous Post: "I have noticed some of you are having issues after installing a new kernel or rom, when you boot into recovery you now have 3e, which does not allow unsigned zips to be flashed. With this version of 3e it has no-verification check, now allowing you to flash whatever you want.
This zip has
1) 3e recovery modified to disable signature checking
2) disables the forced wipe after installing any update.
Hi guys,
I have found Ironman system sounds supporting my Win Xperience Ironman theme. Just flash the zip using any recovery ( CWM, TWRP).
#Changelog:
*Unlock, lock, low battery and check box sounds will change
*New ringtones and notifications audio added
#Please make a backup of the stock sounds before flashing this file( In case you need them back)
#To Make Backup:
Step 1: Open any root browser
Step 2: Go to system/media
Step 3: Copy the folder 'audio'
Step 4: Extract zip file ( Ironman) to any location and paste the 'audio' folder inside IRONMAN/system/media and select replace all
Step 4 (alternative) : Before pasting the 'audio' folder first delete the audio folder from the media folder of the zip file extracted and then paste the folder .
This ensures no conflicting issues or addition of other sounds
Step 5: Archive the whole folder and give it another name ( eg. Stocksounds.zip)
Your stock backup is ready!! Just flash this zip whenever you need your stock system sounds back!! ??
Requirements:
#Custom recovery
#Rooted Device
#Zip file manager ( Zipper)
#Xperia Device 5.0+ ( Any other device will do but my theme is for Xperia lollipop device that's y I mentioned it)

Clean awesome bootanimations works fine with our Lenovo A6000
First of all, credit goes to KonradIC13, he has made all these boot animation, I am just sharing them here..
These all are Boot Animation not boot logo.
These are not meant to be flashed.
Do not try to flash these from recovery
Rename the zip file to bootanimation.zip ( Remove/delete it's serial no eg. bootanimation1.zip rename to : bootanimation.zip)
Using root explore or other app that can browse file ( like ES explorer or X-plore)
Access folder: root\system\media\ and
simply copy and paste the renamed zip bootanimation.zip to folder root\system\media\ where original bootanimation.zip is stored
(backup your old boot animation zip and then overwrite the new is recommended if want your previous boot animation in future ).
Reboot, you've new boot animation , Enjoy :good:
How to flash please ... instruct me in Detail
Do not Flash. It's not a flashable zip.

You don't have to Flash the last 5 zips of Clean Boot animation with no texts
Just
Rename the zip file to bootanimation3.zip to bootanimation.zip eg( bootanimation3.zip = bootanimation.zip)
Using ES explorer (open ES explorer , click on Menu> root explorer> R\W Mount R/W
then tick all RW radio botton > OK )
and copy and paste the zip file in folder root\system\media\ and Replace
Reboot...... Done :good:

First setup your trebuchet file manager ---
Follow the steps--open trebuchet --setting--general setting--browsing mode--make it root access mode. Now you can see other sections of your mobile storage.here you see /system partition--tap on that browse for media folder there. And paste the zip file in that folder.Manage permission as said above and you are done.

Thanks, man it works :highfive:
Nice
As you know Samsung Stock Rom's use a special .qmg file format for the bootanimation but the procedure that is used to convert all the bootanimation.zip files to .qmg files doesn't give good results instead it produces a low quality bootanimation.
Android uses a binary called bootanimation to run the bootanimations, and it is situated inside the system/bin folder, Samsung has modified this binary in order to get it working with .qmg files.
This mod will restore the native bootanimation.zip support.
These are all the requirements required to add the support for Native Android Bootanimations:
Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on 6.0.1 MM
Root
TWRP Recovery Installed
To install:
Download the zip file included below.
Reboot your smartphone to TWRP recovery and install the downloaded zip.
Reboot!
Once you reboot download a boot animation app like:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.jrummy.apps.boot.animations
And away you go!
Zip file you'll need to flash in TWRP:
https://drive.google.com/file/d/1sRSYSZnz3RlpbqIJc-J8Q0eQ-STXHIbj/view?usp=drivesdk
I take no credit for any of this I just wanted to post it here so that everybody else can benefit from this mod. I've already tested this on my Galaxy Note 4 n910t with 6.0.1 MM and it works great for me! All credit goes to:
