hi, i used to have custom rom viperone m9 but since i want to sell my phone im trying to go back to original htc one m9 stock, after trying many things including making my phone S-OFF, trying to flash RUU files, locking bootloader, and finally flashing a stock rom according to a tutorial on xda developers, using android revolution HD to go back to stock rom.
my phone is now not booting up, it was just getting stuck on the htc logo, i tried changing from s-off back to s-on and locking bootloader (which may turn out to be a very big mistake) and now it just boots directly to bootloader and i cant get past the bootloader screen, ive tried doing factory resets and wiping cache in recovery and download mode but nothing is working, im not sure what to do so if anyone can help it would be appreciated!!! i just want to get back to original stock rom where i can get OTA updates and an unrooted phone.
thank you

pleaseeee can anyone help I cant use my phone

Have you tried installing a ruu according to your M9 model? Bootloader SOn or SOFF??

If you still have the unlock Token use it again, if not try for another. If it does not give you one, sorry you are in trouble. It took me at least two weeks trying different stuff, original roms and back-ups, you maybe lucky. In the end I had to send mine back to HTC, the forums on XDA developers did not help.

[Q] Stuck in Relocked Bootloader

I bought this phone.
HTC One X
I have a bit of knowledge when it comes to rooting phones but i ran into this problem here.
It seems that the phone has no ROM, no Recovery ( I try Booting into Recovery and it Reboots back into Bootloader) and is Relocked (Fastboot ac).

How do i unlock bootloader and be able to go back to fastboot usb?
So it boots to the BootLoader Screen, this is a good thing, so its not 'dead' ... yet
Unless your gonna send it in for repair, First thing I would try is unlocking it ... your in for a ride
go to http://www.htcdev.com/ create an account, and follow the steps for unlocking the device
The fact that you can get into the boot loader means you should be able to generate your bin code, to unlock the thing
If you do manage to get it unlocked, I would follow the instructions in this forum for flashing a custom rom onto the thing
you start by unlocking, rooting, then CWM Recovery
Once you have that done, flash a custom rom, such as IceColdJelly which is what I use
Hopefully this works for you, Its already busted, no harm in trying
Good luck to you!
EDIT: You may find this useful: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2069904
I alredy did this and it says " waiting for device"
Don't flash anything from this forum. This forum is only for the international One X (endeavor). You have an Evita.

[MOVED][Q] Want to flash Viper Rom but need help

Okay I (finally) manage to unlock the bootloader and root my HOX running jellybean 4.1.1. Now I want to install ViperXL (or ViperX, whichever is more preferred) as a custom rom but I have had boot issues that I want to avoid. The last time i flashed ViperXL my phone would load past the HTC screen only to stay on a blank, black screen and do nothing even though its turned on. I never got to the ViperXL screen. I ran ViperXL before when my phone was running ICS so I should be able to run it again even after updating my phone to Jellybean. right? I should point out what I did differently this time while rooting was install ClockworkMod Recovery v6.0.3.1 instead of TWRP. Below is my Bootloader info as I feel it will be necessary in solving my problem. Sorry if this was posted by someone else and dealt with elsewhere, I couldn't find exactly what I was needing help with.

Looks like you're trying to run an Android 6 rom, but you still have Android firmware. You need to update your firmware either by going s-off and flashing marshmallow firmware, or by returning to stock by using an RUU and taking an OTA update (OTA update is only an option if you're phone is a dev edition OR if your carrier has a marshmallow update available). Alternatively, you can flash a lollipop rom in TWRP. Most of the custom Sense roms should have lollipop versions available.

UK Vodafone HTC ONE M9 .. Stuck on HTC Logo

I have an HTC ONE M9 that's stuck on the HTC Logo.
The following is on the Bootloader Screen:
*** Software Status Modified ***
*** LOCKED ***
*** S-ON ***
*** Security Warning ***
The only other information I can get from it is from the Android Recovery screen and is as follows:
Htc/himauh1_vodafone_uk/htc_himauh1 7.0/NRD90M/859282.11
I would like to try flashing it with an original RUU to see if it will revive it.
I have found the following files on the net that look like they might work if I flash one of them from an SD Card but I'd just like some advice before trying one of them.
OTA_M7_UL_JB_50_Vodafone_UK_1.29.161.111.28.161.7_release_315813_signedoj2qp335qmm8qjso.zip

If anyone has any suggestions I'd love to hear them.
While it would be great if I can revive the phone I don't mind if it gets bricked (it may already be BER) but would love to have a positive result.
I've tried using the ADB and Fastboot prog on my laptop but the only time it makes contact with the phone is when I put the phone into “Download from PC “ mode so I think it would be better to try flashing it using an SD Card to do the job.
I'm a pure beginner to this and would love to learn more about flashing Custom ROMs etc.
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
