There was a released of MIUI rom for Nexus 7 2013.
You can find it here http://en.miui.com/thread-16879-1-1.html
I'm doubt if it supports using Multirom. A zip that is capable in normal flashing in the recovery.

anyone try this?it's multilang miui rom, basically the same with official miui only it's more english and chinese apps removed,I use it for my first phone mi2s,and it's good, only for the nexus 7 bugs reported..I tried the official miui and unofficial from miuiandroid.com,both are still buged,it's beta test anyway,so I restore back to stock nexus, and wait 'till bugs removed

It's funny that our Nexus 7 is specified as "Unknown Device" in the list. Anyway i'll give it a try in a while.
I've tried the normal version on miui.com today by flashing it, but I lose the recovery that I used to do the trick. There's no root pre-applied in the rom, you have to flash it on your own.
By the way the ROM works great besides some text still in chinese, and some other little things, anyway this MIUIv6 a complete copy of iOS 7, it even has the same notification sound!

no,miui is quite differrent,I have xiaomi mi2s which is running stock official miui.com,actually xiaomi is miui
they have 2 rom stable version and developer version, stable didn't have root permission, dev have root permission,we can disable root perms,or enable it anytime with dev version.
the unofficial from miuiandroid.com is dev version only,it basically miui.com rom but have more language then the official, and removed chinese apps, and other stuff,it's dev version only so it must have root permission, can enable or disable it also..
but that's for my xiaomi phone, not sure for other device but I think they'll be the same..cmiiw
the differences of miui.com and miuiandroid.com you can read it here I guess

you're welcome..I've tried both but they still buged,it's first release so we can't expect much from it,and the dev said they still updating the rom to fix reported bugs
you might use latest twrp because somehow root permission lose after flashing the rom,and with twrp we can install superuser to make it root
read the tutors there's some people discussing on how to install it right for nexus 7
I tried all they said but still can't get rid the bugs,at least I can root it now

I've just tried the miuiandroid.com rom, and it's not the same as the official one.. yeah it is clean and fully english and that's great but there are lot of graphical glitches and somethings don't even work. Some parts are missing: there's no lockscreen etc.

Hi, I flashed MIUI from the Miui web site on my Nexus 7 II and I love this rom. However, first I got a message that Gapp process had stopped. Now, the Play Store says no connection and I cannot download anything. Could you please tell me which gapps you flashed? Also, did I lose my TWRP recovery and root by flashing this ROM? Please let me know. Thanks.

do you full wipe it (factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache) before install?
which one do you install,
miui.com (official)
http://en.miui.com/thread-16879-1-1.html
or muiandroid.com (multilang/unofficial)
http://xiaomi.eu/community/threads/4-3-14.23776/
if miui.com I guess you can use this small gapps
https://www.dropbox.com/s/m8kny92fe4xd5qz/12-14_GApps_Core_4.4.2_signed.zip
if miuiandroid.com you can find link to download gapps in the first page of the thread
after install don't flash the gapps yet, reboot the phone and do the setup, after setup finish then you can flash the gapps,if you flash the gapps straight after flashing the rom,you might get errors,do this for both version,miui.com or miuiandroid.com.
root is lose if you install this rom but TWRP is not (I guess ),maybe they still trying to fix this, because as long as I know miui rom is prerooted so we don't have to root manually again, use TWRP recovery not CWM and root it from TWRP recovery, after flashing you need to update the super user before root permission can be used..remember to backup your phone before flash and clean install it with TWRP (factory reset, wipe cache, wipe dalvik cache)

i can't do this without pc :c?
thanks for help

Yup, it is somewhat same, except the kernel doesn't have inbuilt recovery. You can do it without PC, provided You have a working TWRP. So instead of flashing the first carbon boot.img, just do the steps after step 7.
If i do this without PC my phone wouldnt have a inbuilt kernel recovery? And in reverse ?
This option is really important ? Steps 1-7 are for people who have blocked bootloader and they install software with cwm or twrp yea :3?
This CM 12 is final version not beta ?

If You had flashed the recovery to fotakernel (i.e. by process similar to this method) then You will retain Your recovery. The CM12 ROM kernel doesn't have inbuilt recovery.
Steps 1 to 7 are for people who don't have recovery.
All the steps require unlocked bootloader. You cannot install Kitkat or Lollipop ROM's on locked bootloader on Xperia S.
Current CM12 version is beta, there won't be a final version, as even CM is under development, Our device is not supported officially and new feature are always introduced.
Also, once You unlock bootloader, there is no need to unlock it again, even if You flash the stock firmware.
Thread starter asked for a stable rom. CM12 has a long way to go before being stable.
Hey guys
Does anyone know when we will get Cyanogen OS 13? I have been on stock for 2 weeks now due to a rumour of COS13 coming. If you have any news or even a beta build then please post it below.

Mine was a clean stock 12.1 install first, then update applied from recovery to 13
Mine is working just fine, no problems to report at all..... hrmm so, I wonder what's different

note super su stock dosn't work but the beta does
I'm I noob here and I don't understand what everybody's talking about here. From my understanding, a flashable COS13 zip is out in the open and works? How should I go about flashing it if I want to keep TWRP recovery? Do I have to do a clean install?

as far as I am aware there is NO COS 13 zip for the crackling, only this incremental update (ie an update from 12.1, so that needs to be installed as a base first and then the update flashed from recovery)
There is CM 13, both snapshots and nightlies that an be flashed from TWRP as ZIPs
TWRP an be flashed from fastboot whenever you like, so that shouldn't cause you any major concerns :good:

Hi guys! I'm thinking about upgrading to nougat but I need to know first your impressions. Is it stable enough? No annoying bugs or issues? The battery life, how is it? The performance? Everything? Please let me know to help me decide. Thanks a lot!

Yeah, dark theme is quite inconsistent in Beta 8. I've used dark since day 1 I got it but had to switch to light after this update.
http://imgur.com/a/fotcg
1) dark theme inconsistent
2) Cancel button broken, shows numbers instead (after entering the code, it shows 'cancel' just for 0.1 seconds before transitioning into the app).

It's not necessary, you can keep ext4.
But it's nice to have f2fs as it helps speed things up.
P.S.: Open Beta 9 is officially out and it's NOT the same as this leaked version. I suggest you get the newer, official one.
