There is no stock rom is availible for p600/5 or variants for the time being, nor are there any signs of developer activity. I was hoping for CM myself.

You are already being helped on another thread, so I am going to consider this done.
By the way, under our names is a "Thanks" button. Feel free to click that if someone helps you.
Going to close this thread since you're being helped elsewhere. No need to have the same discussion in 2 different places.
Hey guys! I've got this G928A from AT&T, it's stock and stuck on 5.1.1 . I would like to know if there would be any problem if I flashed through ODIN a G928G ROM ?
This would be the one I would like to flash:

Thanks and appreciate your help!

Hahah to be honest I'm used to HTC devices which letters don't make differences just matters of its CDMA or GSM model, my last Samsung device was an s2 and s4.
Which ROM do you recommend for this G928A? Need it only to be stock and bloatware free (debranded). Thanks for your warning! Haha

::sigh::
You can't install any "ROMS" on G928A because the device is LOCKED and AT&T will (probably) never unlock it.
In regards to Odin: you *can* odin back to a previous software update *but* if the phone is on marshmallow 6.1+( and above) you *can not* odin back to previous update; you're stuck on marshmallow. Furthermore, you *can not* install a different device Odin files onto G928A through Odin, if so, you'll have a bricked phone; paperweight.

none of the rom in the link will work. G928A is the device's model name. G928G is not.

No it doesnt and no custom roms or root really for it. You will be using it stock for as long as you own it.
Rooted
I have a Samsung Galaxy Active, SM G891A. I paid to have it rooted through OneClickRoot. It worked, I'm using VPN Hotspot (rooted) to connect my other devices, since Cricket won't let me buy hotspot features with this phone. I'm using Kernel Auditor(rooted) to over clock my device to 2.1ghz, which is blazing fast for this device. And I'm using Rom Toolbox (Pro) for everything else. I still have the software for everything on my computer.
bummer
