One of our Chinesse Partners bring me a Huawei P9 smartphone as gift, but it is only for using in mainland China. I can not use any of Google services, all the stores and menues is in Chinesse, although I have changed the lang to Eng. How can I root, or update or modify the android version to use it? There is no option in the root menu for updating!

I found this on official website: consumer.huawei.com/en/support/downloads/detail/index.htm?id=14401 (add http before consumer, i cant post link because im new ) but i dont know if this support polish language and it will install on my device. In PDF from it SOFT is written: "Versions can be upgraded U9202L-1V100R001C00B120"
So can i use it to update my phone?

"please use a valid chinese device"
Do you have any solution for my problem ?
Can I change the android wear from the european to the chinese version so that I can use it or something else..

I bought a huawei mate 20X phone online. It is a chinese device. Although I have done some configurations and managed to put most of it in english, there are still a few things in chinese. It seems to not be possible to remove the search which brings up things in chinese and the browser. From what I understand the EMUI is chinese.
Please could you help me to install the european version of the android huawei mate 20X? If this is not possible, please could you advice me the best option to make my device "european"? Could installing sock android work (and how to do it)?

i have updated my honor 8x from emui 8 to 10 step by step.
just uninstall all google apps and restart your phone, check update!
Note: till now cant insall google service on emui 10.0.0.157

Are you in China? Will global users also need to uninstall google play services before they can upgrade?
If yes, then that's just crazy pain in the ass upgrade process.
I'm using a global version JSN-L22, no need to uninstall Google, just wait for country's approval.. for example, I lived in Malaysia, the update will be send to a device as soon as the comm. ministry approved it.

I bought my K30 5g with Chinese rom and tried to switch the GetApps store to English, but the steps described in i.e. YouTube didn't work and I couldn't find a way to switch the language.
Next, I unlocked my phone and flashed MIUI 12 stable from xiaomi.eu. When it first booted, I expected some translated Xiaomi apps, but I was shocked to see my phone was basically empty. No GetApps, no Baidu Maps, no Mi Wallet, just Google Play Store and a few apps that were already English in the Chinese Rom (like Mi Health).
After digesting the fact that the "global version" of my Xiaomi phone doesn't come with the Xiaomi app-store, I downloaded an apk of Xiaomi GetApps 14.8.0, only to discover that there are no apps in the store. Every page just says "That's all for now". So it seems my Xiaomi phone doesn't offer any apps in its Xiaomi app-store, which it doesn't ship with.
Is there any official way to get the "GetApps" store working in English?
Could it be that the store is empty because I am in an unsupported region (Canada)? If so, how could I overwrite that?
