Hi.
Just received my H810 back from lab fix.
It has the at&t ROM h81021y (marshmallow 6.0)
My goal is to find a stock ROM which doesn't belong to at&t, and doesn't contain it's apps.
For example I saw a ROM called PR H810PR10a_02.kdz and I wanted to know, if I will install it would it have any bloatware on it?
Is there any H810 stock ROM available, that doesn't have any bloatware on it?
Thanks!

i think all have bloat ware be aware that downgrading in some phone will get your phone hard bricked they have antirollback.

21y has antirollback v3, that pr rom afaik in v2. You´ll endup with hardbrick if you flash that rom.
There are no other way ecxept used debloater to disabled all att apps and bloatwares
i'll be more specific:
OK, i got your answer regarding the rollback - so i'll rephrase:
is there any H810 ROM that doesn't "belong" to at&t?
like an LG stock ROM for H810?

For MM, no.. In lolipop, yes..PR rom but there's an issue with the camera if we're using that rom.
OK.
Actually my main goal is to be able to clear the carrier name from the notification bar.
I tried to achieve that without rooting the device.
Can I do that with the at&t ROM installed?

Hi , someone could tell me what custom recovery and kernel i can install on d850pr (claro) variant?
According to this spreadsheet there isnt one.
Also curious with this...
I use this https://download.cyanogenmod.org/?device=d850
Anyone know if the D850PR variant has Lollipop out yet? I'm in desperate need for the updated modem, because if I flash the standard D850 Lollipop update, I get random reboots, which I strongly believe it's because of the wrong modem...

Only Roms developed for the phone model is best practice otherwise bricking your phone is a real possibility

You should stick to roms made specifically for your device. It is very likely you will brick you're device if you flash a ROM for another variant. However, some devs build roms for more than one variant. Make sure your read thoroughly the corresponding rom's thread before flashing.
Here's my Freedom Tool if your on stock Lollipop 20b. After you get rooted this will install TWRP so you can flash custom roms.
Credits to 777jon for TWRP .
This tool replaces you aboot partition with KK aboot. Uses 20b boot.img and TWRP.

Doesn't matter, still works for those who need twrp on stock setup to flash roms.

You can do that by rooting the stock ROM and installing twrp manager from the play store. Just saying.

Bump is a hack that bypasses LG security on boot checks. I came from the Verizon G2 that needed it. I forgot that T-Mobile don't lock their devices down like all other carriers.
I also recently bought a LG G Pad 8 inch that locked was locked down. Not even on any carrier but was locked down. Couldn't even get TWRP on it due to this.

A simple misunderstanding. Im sure the others with locked bootloaders would love this tool. and its good that you would do one for them....

T-Mobile locks down some of their devices. The g3 is lucky enough not needing it. That's why the d851 had ROMs first. Anyways, its easier to just use the one click root method and either use twrp manager or flashify to get twrp on your phone.

Guess it just makes T-Mobile that much better than the competition as being the "UnCarrier"! I was with Verizon for years and got tired of their outrages pricing and lockdowns. Plus, having unlimited data is what finally got me back to TMO.

Or you can go with a nexus device. Its unlocked no matter where you go.
Just added tool for KK 10R.
I have a D851 on the stock, rooted Lollipop ROM. I want to install TWRP but before I do anything, I just wanna make sure I'll still be able to boot back into the stock ROM after installing the recovery using this tool. (Someone reported on another forum that he installed TWRP using bump, but couldn't boot back into the stock ROM.)

If your on stock LP then choose the 20b version for twrp. Your booting will work fine. Thats what this is for.
Tmobile LG G3 Android 4.4.2 not working!
I have tried and seems someone has not posted a good instructions on how to root access this device I have been reading the forms I am more confused now then before I even thought about rooting this unit... maybe I might need to pass on this phone.. because I don't feel like spending all day getting this to operate correct the instructions would really help starting from the beginning as to which method is best and where to find the links these posts are like a one thing and then just goes into a different subject.

Hey guys, My dad is willing to update his LG G4'S version (Currently running Lollipop), I do understand a thing or two in rooting, custom roms and recoverys , however, I own a galaxy s6 - it has no AOSP Roms, only stock based. and my father is used to his phone as it is, I don't think flashing cyanogenmod will be a good idea, he likes the functions LG added and stuff like that( Yeah, I don't understand it too ). Are there any good MM stock based roms?
Thanks and sorry for my English
Cant u just ota official mm?
If not, what variant does he have? not all roms can be flashed.

Sorry for not mentioning - H815, Also, what is the newest official MM version (carrier-free)? I don't have any OTA's in my place currently unfortunately.
I use the stock MM ROM ver 20D listed in Android Development section, and it is lightning fast and smooth!

Well good news, you got the bootloader unlockable variant!
To be honest anything with H815 in it is what you can do.
You can flash stock MM (I'd reccomend v20h its located in the general section)
You can flash cm13,
Be free little birdy!
I don't have my phone rooted and I'd like to upgrade it to 5.0.0 lollipop. I see Samsung only put out the update to other countries and not the US, how nice of them.
Would I even notice a difference using it or would putting the Aussie version of lollipop on my US t-mobile phone be a no no?
Thank you
You cannot flash an Australian stock LP ROM to the USA T-Mobile phone via Odin.
There is a T-MOBILE Australian lollipop upgrade on Samsungs website for the m919. For verification, It won't work on my m919? Would u mind to help me understand why?
Thank you
The bootloader in the rom will be compared to the hardware being flashed. If it's a match, it will flash but not necessarily function properly.
If the Australian m919 is the same as the hardware as the USA variant, it will probably flash but I don't know if it will work n properly.
Ok thank you for the explanation
Why don't you install Lineage which will put you into >7.0
