I've found the black LG g pad at places like asda direct and Amazon priced at £259 can only find the white version on Amazon for £299 and its from a dodgy looking marketplace seller. Any other UK owners out there and where did you buy?

I bought from ASDA because I wanted the black, but the white is available from Tesco Direct at £259. It's also available from Clove (£259) and Expansys (£249), but haven't used either of those sites myself so can't vouch for their reliability.
I bought mine last night from ADSA Direct, it's listed at £249 but if you use the voucher code 'taboffer' you'll get £20 off.
£229 is the best price I've been able to find (from a reputable source) in the UK.
Thankyou, i did look on tesco direct in early November and they weren't on there then. I will check it out!

Thanks but asda only seem to stock the black version, I really want the white one. Also been reading about the Google play edition... Might wait for it to hit the play store here, I think it would go nicely with my LG Nexus 5.

I picked up my white version from tesco in the uk. £20 off with voucher which is still valid plus the tesco points on the account. Ordered late one thursday night and picked up from store saturday evening.
Great service from tesco, regular emails and texts confirming progress.
Might have to wait a little for GPE in uk. No word yet.

None of the GPE phones have come to the UK Play Store, so I wouldn't hold out for this one.
I picked up a white version from Tesco with the same £20 off. Missus has wrapped it now, but not before giving it a good 'test' .
I really hope Google sort it out and get the GPE phones and tablets out in Europe. My nexus 5 is great, I've always been a fan of stock android. Although LGs skinned version doesn't seem to bad on the G pad, I like the idea of tap tap too. May well get a V500...

Ive seen the Co-op with them and also Asda, as well as all the ones mentioned previously. I to am still praying that Google will release the GPE one in Europe, i would buy it in a flash.
Quite like the Asda deal, but can anyone tell me what the stock Android version is, and has there been any rumours about updates to 4.4?

I bought mine online as there is much more competition, bought for £221.95 from Simply Electronics. Cannot fault their service as the device came in 2 days, amazingly quick and a great device to match. Do not worry about buying products online, as they are exactly the same as in store, but cheaper. Yes you are waiting a few days, but wouldn't you rather save money? I know I would!
LG G Pad 8.3 priced for UK launch, full HD and quad-core for £259.
I've never imported a phone before. Very interested to hear where people are getting their MiMax from? as well as delivery speeds and buyer protection options?
I'll be importing it into the US.
Well, i placed an order on gearbest about 10 days ago for shipment to the US. Expected shipping was 2 to 5 days, but once it got to 10 days (today) and they couldn't offer a solid shipping window, I canceled the order. I'd really like to mess with this device, I mean the specs and price are great, but not at the risk of being strung along.
BTW, gearbest hasn't confirmed they'll refund all my money on a non-shipped item, but my credit card company will have the last laugh.
Anyone else get the Mi Max shipped to the States?
Got mine from ebay imported to US from Hong Kong. Very fast shipping, seller was responsive, tracking #, etc. Smooth transaction... Got it on my door in less than a week. It was $309 when they first showed up. Now he also has 64gb version.
http://m.ebay.com/itm/XIAOMI-MI-MAX-MIUI-8-Snapdragon-650-Hexa-Core-6-44-Inch-Screen-WIFI-GPS-3GB-32GB-/152099506735
I contacted Xiaomi and they directed me to their Partner store: http://nis-store.com/xiaomi-smartphones/xiaomi-mi-max-3gb32gb-dual-sim-silver/ $269.00 for 3/32GB is among the better prices I've seen. I have to check on availabiity. I don't mind waiting 10 days for shipping, but I won't wait around for a product being sold that isn't in stock, or expected to me for weeks. That's just bad business.

I bought two from goldway @ AliExpress. One mi max and redmi note 3 pro for the girlfriend. Asked them to declare the value to 35 dollars for each one. Paid for them to be Shipped with DHL. Got them in three days. Freaking fantastic. They come with vendor roms. But I Flashed miui 8 without problem with both.
One thing to note that mi Validator doesn't work. Could be an issue with miui 8 beta. But what I've read its more due to it being a chinese version on the phone. Apparently there is another chinese Validation page that you can check your phone at to make sure its not a fake. Antutu Validator says they are not fake.
I would recommended top - one. Goldway is good too that I used.
but nobody has the 64 gb grey version, i found only the silver and gold version.
greets, Peter

Same. Did you buy after seeing the ad on OzBargain?
I did & had nothing but issues with that Geekbuying so far.
I brought it & paid for DHL but then they come back & say it's no in stock. Then this week they said they will ship "sometime this week".
Honestly Geekbuying is a joke with their processing times & won't be order from them again.
The product is not in stock
Only gold version will be available on 128Gb. Gearbest is not bad, I think they try to confirm addresses first, so be watchful after making an order, thats it. I've just checked the igoyou.com site.....the phone is not in stock and ebay is selling about 30 bucks higher without a chance for express shipping. Ebay is my preferred, but, i'll have this arrive from geabest with 5 days to spare assuming i decide to go with ebay. The phone is in hot demand and smaller sites like jadopado do not even have the 128Gb, but have already jacked up prices.
Am I missing something?? I figured that the phone's manufacturer would have a slew of model specific accessories shown on their own website, but I am not having any luck. I figured it was due to fact I was searching pre 10/28 launch date, but nothing has changed since.
Hoped it was mobile browser error, but get same results on PC.
AM I MISSING SOMETHING????
Did I get spoiled by Samsung?
Very few of top tiered accessory manufactures even have V20 listed on their website?????

Welcome to the stupidity!
Yes. Spoiled by Samsung. It's as if no other phones exist besides iPhone and Samsung. Of course I had a note 2 before my v10 and that was an accessory ghost town too since everything was about the "s" series back then.
I hope they get their act together and at least get the batteries and battery charging kits up soon! Makes no sense at all. The phone has been out for a while not counting the US.
Come on LG! Take our money!

It is my assumption that most of the spare battery kits on eBay are promo gifts that Korean owners have gotten.
Just like 256GB cards from note 7 flooded eBay.

Not true, 256GB cards are available for you to buy, they have been released by samsung a few months ago, and also the battery kit is also available as a standalone, you can buy it as special offer with purchase with the phone or on it's own at a slightly higher price. some countries has released them including Hong Kong.
I'm still considering whether to buy the battery kit.
Purchased with the phone USD 30
purchased alone USD 39
Starting to feel like second class citizen owning this phone due to lack of top tier accessory manufacturer offerings.
Just got put on hold and disconnected by LG customer service after asking why they had no V20 accessories on, or after launch day. She was probably too embarrassed to answer???

This is nothing new with LG & The North American market, been like this for years & apparently, not gonna change any time soon.
You'll have to scour sites such as e-Bay/Amazon/MobileFun/LG's sites in Korea/Hong Kong.
Sometimes, some OEM accessories become available in North America at a time well past launch, but,by that time, why bother....................
This must be your first LG. They are terrible at supporting their devices with accessories.

has anybody tried to buy the red 5t and import it to the US. I see on the Chinese oneplus site that is sold out, but there will be another sale in a few days. Would it be possible to buy one if you don't live in China, and will the phone have US radio bands in it?

Shipping might take 3-4 weeks from China.
I bought the red edition 2 weeks ago when I visited Shanghai. The phone works well for me with GSM in Korea which are compatible with T-Mobile and ATT. I have no idea if it can use Verizon or Sprint.
looks nice in red but I have my black one from UK 128gb may be I'll buy a red case ?

D/L Oxygen OS and it comes with the Google apps. The Chinese one without Google is called Hydrogen. You flash it from stock recovery. D/L the file from the official One Plus site.
Ok. Thanks for the help
Is posible yes... the problema is that you won't warranty because is china exclusive but yea you will have all LTE bands to work pretty much in any country .
In other words is exactly the same as the Black Midnight except for the color of course lmo.

You have 2 year warranty in the US? We typically have only 12mo here. And considering I root, I usually void most warranties immediately. That was the case on my U11.
Pretty shortsighted one plus, only offering special versions to china. Or the star wars version only in india.
Id buy the red on if it was available with warranty in Canada as it looks amazing and is cheap.
They really dont seem to worry much about the customers in north america unfortunately.

No, unlocking the bootloader/rooting the device doesnt void the warranty on oneplus devices. Thats why they're for modders. I live in germany and oneplus says i have 2 years warranty.
Now the white one will be available on the 9th. Press release came out today....

I never found anyone in the USA to do this. I contact Huawei. They said I could ship it to Huawei in Singapore and pay for the replacement. I would be responsible for shipment costs. I asked if I could just purchase the screen and assembly from Huawei. They said no. Really my only option is to purchase from a source online and do it myself. This is a risk I take every time I import a phone.

The screen replacement appears to be very complex if it's similar to the mate 20 pro, basically everything needs to be removed.
