Is there such thing as live lock screen wallpaper?
Anyone have an RGB pulsating G logo on a black or white background?
Would be pretty cool if it cycled through the pieces of the G lighting them up or just pulsating brighter and darker. I have something sort of close using the liquid live wallpaper app. I use the lava function and have lava bubbles as a black color that swim over a G logo on a black background.

Hi, I just noticed that my Galaxy S3 and my wife's Galaxy S3 do not have perfect blacks on the lock screen. The home screen blacks are pure black as expected from Super Amoled displays. I created a pure black wallpaper in photoshop and tried it on the lock screen and home screen. And for some reason the pure black wallpaper on the lock screen looks as if it's a LCD with light bleed. The same pure black wallpaper on the home screen looks pure black. How about you, do you have a lock screen that does not display pure blacks like your home screen? Am I missing a setting that is causing the lock screen blacks to look like light bleed on an LCD. (Yes I know AMOLED does not have light bleed. I'm only saying the effect on the lock screen blacks only looks like light bleed on an LCD. So please don't respond saying that AMOLED does not have light bleed as I am already aware of this, and this is not what I am saying as well.)
I've attached the pure black wallpaper if anyone wants to test the lock screen and home screen blacks. Would appreciate your input.
Ok, just found out it is the ripple effect on the lock screen that causes this. Turned it off, and now got pure black lock screen. Sweeeet!!!
Its hard to see the lock screen clock when I have a background with light color.
How can I change the color of the clock widget on the lock screen?
I have the same issue. There was a time where I changed the lock screen wallpaper and somehow the clock turned into a black font. I don't know how. I changed to a different background and it stayed black. Then about a month later I switched backgrounds again and it turned white again and hasn't changed ever since. If someone could please shed light on this issue I'd really appreciate it.
I found a solution for this. You need to change LG Theme, part of them has a dark color clock.
I use the "Galactic Core Free" active wallpaper on my Pixel 2 XL:. The launcher is gradually shaded from mid to bottom of the display. It is cool how when you slide the app drawer up it continues making the shading darker. However, I would prefer to have the full screen visibility of the wallpaper. Does anyone know if that shading can be turned off.
Also, even though the wallpaper is very dark, the menus are not switching from light to dark.
Thanks for any insight.
Ok so on my Galaxy Note 10+ my lock screen text is white and I'm using the default samsung background which is bright blue and white. This makes it hard to read my text. I have tried detailed view, and brief view, turned the auto reverse text and so far the text has stayed white.
Any clue where I am screwing up?
Figured this out. For anyone else if you have Samsungs Quick Star in the Good Lock app don't use the transparent theme as it turns the lock screen text white as well.
I am wondering how to get more colour theme options when I set a new wallpaper, usually it gives me the same 4 or it may be a mix of a few depending on my wallpapers but I cannot seem to attain a white or grey theme as shown on the pixel 6 advertisement with white widgets and white app icons on grey backgrounds. Is there a way to get more options?
Also, sometimes when I slide down my notification panel it is completely white, and sometimes it is a blurred version of my background, why isn't this consistent?
It's limited to the small number of muted colour selections with no way to add more afaict.
The blurred pull down background is a bug triggered by adjusting the brightness slider.
