So I have an LG G3 F460L Model which I just got. It's on MM and I would like to downgrade it to LP but I found out it won't go in to download mode and would just get stuck in fastboot.
After some research I found out I have to restore download mode with an laf.img file so my question is can I use the laf file from a LP kdz or is there something else I need to do?

At first try to flash a stok twrp zip file then use lg flash tool to flash MM kdz. Ignore any error it shows see on the phone screen it"s working. Do a cse flash also stock zip file flashing it"s not necessary but it's safe to do a stock zip file flash first. you can update MM from twrp also just flash a stock 30vj or v30f bumped MM zip file.
i have an lg ls980 and i accidentally flashed it to lg d802 firmware and i tried to restore with lg flash tool 1.8 using a ls980ZVE mdified to work with the dll file but it stoped and my phone is stuck in fastboot mode and it says

[10510]-portchange-

Try to fix it with srk tool2.1
Flash ls980 partition files using srk tool>fixed utility> fixed fastboot mode
First u have to download partition files of ls980 such as recovery laf persust etc.. by searching on google or by extracting any ls980 kdz by kdz extractor
After this u will he able to get into download mode and you can flash rom by lg flash tool
I tried flashing a Lollipop recovery to my marshmallow D850. my G3 is with android marshmallow, and it's now in Qualcomm recovery mode. androidbrick_G3_fix detects the device, but doesn't ask if I wanna restore the recovery...
fixed it, just gotta download BIN_LGD850AT-01-V10d-310-410-JUN-19-2014-0.zip, and restore that image with BoardDiag, then use LG FlashTool in download mode.

1) Which way are you trying to flash back to stock - kdz or tot? If tot is failing then try to kdz, if kdz is failing then try the tot restore...here's a guide with all you'll need for either flash method: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089
2) Try using the original LG usb cable if you have it and use a usb 2.0 port while flashing.
If you have download mode one of those flashing methods should work for you as long as you have all the drivers installed and the correct files to flash.
Good luck :good:
