Hi,
i have a Joying single 1din 8" Unit with Android 4.4.4 (DE-JY-UQS01) in my Jeep Grand Cherokee.
I have a Problem with the App Poweramp and other MP3 Player Apps. When I turn off the Ignition and start the Car later, It doesn't continue The Playback on the last Track, it starts always another track from the beginning (after a short time the Radio is off (2 Minutes) the resume works).
What I have found is that the music title short time continues in the background (when I pulled the car keys and the radio shuts down)
I think it has to do with the standby/hibernate?
Does anyone have a Solution für this Problem?
Thanks!
I've seen the same thing in the Music app as well as PowerAmp, my standby time is setup as 5 minutes
I believe the only thing you could do is to pause the song before you turn the ignition off

I listen to podcasts on BeyondPod Beta using CM7 lastest nightly via LG BT HBS-700 stereo headsets. When I hit the play/pause button when the screen is on, it works fine. When the screen is off and the podcast is not playing, when the play/pause button is hit, it turns the screen on, resumes playing, then almost immediately it skips ahead about 30 seconds. When it is playing and the screen is off, it turns on the screen and takes 3 seconds before playing, then skips 30 seconds and continues playing from there. This is really annoying. The only fix I can think of is changing the settings so the screen never turns off. Obviously, this would decimate battery life. Any suggestions?
I think it started with the last update of beyondpod. I've been having the same problem with one minor difference. Even if the screen is on, hitting play on my headset will still cause the podcast to skip ahead 30 seconds. I can pause a podcast with my headset, but then when I want to resume playing I have to use the touch-pad on my phone so it won't skip ahead.
Here's my set up.
Phone = HTC EVO 4G
Android Version = 2.3.5
Headset = LG HBS-700
BeyondPod = 3.0.19
Does anyone know if there is a way (running Malaysk ROM) to make starting music programs (e.g. I use Spotify, MS Groove, podcast players) to switch the MCU mixer to music?
For example - Currently when I am listening to radio and I want to listen to Spotify, Groove or a podcast player next I click the corresponding icon in the launcher but the radio remains on so I have to open the launcher a second time and click Music to turn off the radio/switch android feed to stereo. I would like clicking the Spotify, Groove, etc. icons to do that automatically.
I'd be interested in this as well. I thought that I could do this with Tasker, basically kill the radio app when spotify starts but I don't know what app to kill to make the radio stop.
Killing apps won't help with anything. We need something to switch the MCU audio.
I was operating under the impression that the radio audio stream was coming from an app. However the radio being a hardwired audio input seperate from the Android audio stream would explain why when I reboot the HU the radio keeps playing while it reboots.
I found my solution. I upgraded to a Dasaita MDCD PX5 (OctaCore) with Android 6 and it switches automatically - i.e. Hitting the play button on Spotify turns off the radio, pressing the radio button while Spotify is playing pauses Spotify and so on
I am using Pandora on my Pixel XL phone to play music via Chromecast Audio. I also use the Pandora app sleep timer.
This setup works as intended for the prescribed time (1 hr) after which playout stops, but then 1-2 hours later music starts playing again, but from my phone's speaker. This is apparently when the Chromecast Audio connection drops due to inactivity.
Has anyone experienced this problem or have a recommended solution? Is the Chromecast Audio timeout settable?
yes, and a lot of people do. it happens to every app that casts to chromecast. its an android/chromecast issue. and still not solved in 2021.
Hi,
When I play audio via Bluetooth to my headphones or my ultimate ears boom, when the screen switch off, and around 5 minutes after, the audio stops.
In fact the bluetooth loose connexion.
I make the test with spotify, deezer, tunein, imternal music, youtube...if i'm putting screen off for example on 10min, the audio stop around 15min. If i put 20min, it's around 25min...
Do you have a idea please ?
Best regards

Try to disable battery-battery optimization-advanced optimization&Sleep standby optimization. Reboot. Then check if your problem is solved.
No don't solve, it's already off.
Hi all
Since Android 11 update my bluetooth sound stops every 15 minutes For example I watch long youtube movie and on exactly 15min point sound stops in my headset and continues on device. Headset is still connected to the bluetooth and if I simply pause/unpause video, sond continues through headset next 15min then everything repeats. If I watch playlist of short videos the 15min barier issue does not appear, only if one movie is longer than 15 minutes. The same thing happens when I listen to audio books on any appication and independant if screen is active or not. I tried a few different headsets, the same issue happens. Also tried bluetooth speaker, the same. I did factory reset, didnt help. Spotify also limited to 15 min. H
How to fix it?
It's most likely kernel related problem.
Try flashing custom kernel if your phone is rooted.
Giving Bluetooth module from Magisk a try is fine too.
